Having recently been introduced to Kiln by Yelp, I went and spent the afternoon there today as I took Zoom meetings, phone calls, worked on a project, and responded to e-mails. I was welcomed as a guest, walked around the property, enjoyed the space and afternoon snacks, and learned a lot during my visit. From when I arrived to the (free) parking garage's third floor and walked along the pathway which brought me straight into Kiln, I found that everything about the space made sense. As I entered Kiln, I saw a number of people working out in the open or in the nearby enclosed spaces. I kept walking until I came across an area to check in. I signed in as a guest and had a delightful conversation with Renee, who I met at a Yelp event where she was introduced on behalf of Kiln. Renee walked me through everything I needed to know about the space, what to do with cups, plates, etc. when I was done with them, when snacks were coming out, what events were taking place, and which spaces she'd recommend I use based on the sort of work I'd be doing. The other Kiln staff were also very welcoming. I also bumped into a Yelp friend while I was there who was also checking out the space today. There were several large open areas with seating from large community tables to smaller individual tables to comfortable chairs, all with charging ports. There are then reservable larger spaces for team meetings, conference rooms, creative spaces, and large group spaces. Individuals and companies can also reserve their own permanent spaces. I used what are called phone booths as they resemble old-fashioned phone booths with lighting, a desk for a laptop or anything else, and a chair. Some of the phone booths had a ring light that could be connected to a laptop using a USB cord. There weren't charging ports, but I understand that the goal isn't for someone to be in a phone booth for too long. Guests may bring their own food from home or from a restaurant downstairs or even purchase quality food from Kiln directly. There is a space with a fridge, freezer, microwave, and other means to heat or cool food or drinks. Anyone is welcome to complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, water, tea, and snacks, which are offered in the morning and afternoon. The afternoon snacks were put out while I was there with a variation of something similar to Chex Mix and either salami or prosciutto-covered cheese. While I found it easy to make hot chocolate, I did have trouble using the machine though I feel confident that was user error (just me!). The restrooms were just outside the front entrance though they were set up with fancy options including mouthwash, dental floss, mints, and even two-ply toilet paper. All in all, when I first walked into the Kiln Biltmore last week, I really had no idea what to expect as I have never used such a workspace before. Referred to as a "boutique cowering and flex office community," this space is really a space full of spaces where someone can co-work with some amazing amenities. They boast "unique gathering spaces, event spaces, a fitness room, A/V equipped conference rooms, an A/V studio, refresh rooms, and a dynamic and thriving community supported by a robust calendar of networking and wellness events." I didn't get around to learning about the price plans for being a Kiln member though I know there are a number of different options. My fave feature * phone booths to take private calls The only drawback, but it's a pretty big one, IMO, the bathrooms are in the very FRONT aka entry way, of the entire space. There are NO other bathrooms anywhere in this humongous space. Not in the suites or near the gym. None. When I work, I'm hydrating lots + all the coffee drinkers. This is an Elite Co-Work Habit! The amenities are second to none! The bathrooms keep, to-go mouthwash, floss, stops and mints. The odor everywhere is always pleasing. Workstations are always clean and well maintained and most importantly the cafe as well! Free coffee, tea and Kombucha for members, along with weekly events in which you are always fed! Came on a guest pass so I cannot speak to pricing... But TONS of great space for working solo or with others. Including some cute soundproof ish content & podcast rooms (solo... so there are rooms I have not gotten to explore yet so maybe they have one for doing a guest podcast somewhere) It looks like the Gilbert one has kind of a workout space. I say kind of because it looks like more peloton and Pilates than anything else. I don't see that at this location yet but who knows maybe that's in the works. I do think that should be a little bit more clear on the website saying gym... If you say gym to me, I think squat Racks. Or at least some weights. No shade as I can imagine that wouldn't be ideal for a workspace, but if they add that to the space they'll say what it is versus staying vague. Love the free local kombucha, cold brew/coffee, and water station; also some really solid snacks for purchase (on the healthier side). All in all a really great space and I love the plants surrounding the main entry. Just can't speak to value since the pricing online is not transparent read more

I came in for their opening day and it is an absolutely beautiful and spacious coworking space! There are tons of working options from large open tables to private rooms. The decor is lovely with tons of plants. They offer coffee and kombucha on tap. It was hard to find the entrance as you have to go to the third floor of the parking garage and cross the sky bridge, but there is ample parking. They aren't transparent about their pricing online so I don't know how that aspect is. The staff is very helpful and kind. read more

I am joining a BNI group that meets at this space and it is absolutely amazing! What a cool co-working space. Plenty of amenities and a bunch of people conducting business. Plenty of office space, from private rooms, board rooms or a general open area. I look forward to spending more time here. read more

What a beautiful space and great idea! I went down to work recently at the Kiln, before an event. I spent a few hours in a beautiful workspace. There's natural light, plants, and a lot of space in this building. I was able to tour the space and see there are many rooms/places for a more private workspace, and some more open, fitting for multiple different kinds of gatherings. I hope to get my work team there for a collaborative event soon. read more

Had a great time! Plenty of cute activities planned and plenty of space to spread out. Good light snacks and bevies. Enjoyed decorating cookies and making little valentines cards, we also got our glasses sketched which was super cool! I like how they have plenty of space and seperat rooms to cater to different events or needs, it's very well kept and stylish, has relaxing chill vibes, and great over view through the windows from the top floor! read more

The newly opened space here is absolutely amazing! Beautifully done and massive. The entrance is a bit hard to find, you have to take the parking garage to level three and then cross the sky walkway to get there. The space is very open and not claustrophobic at all. Airy with lots of green plants and windows. There are multiple different seating areas and cubicles that will meet any work needs. I loved the individual almost phone booth like cubicles at the entrance, they're perfect for private calls or zooms. They have an almost zen like leveled seating areas that's great. They have tea, water on tap available. The owners truly care about the space and are more than happy to hear any feedback. I highly recommend coming here if you're looking for a work space to be connected and enjoy. read more

What a beautiful space to work! I loved all the variety in the spaces. There was a virtual golf area, a floor seated spots with cool lights and floor pillows, kombucha on tap and so much more. I showed up in a blouse and skirt, yet I very tempted to use the gym space as well. Definitely will be back before February is over! read more
