You have restored my faith in Sally Beauty and my blue-haired daughter and I will be back every month or so. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I love Sally, so I won't mark the store down for one crazy employee. I sent the following complaint to corporate recently: At about 6pm on Saturday 6/28/14, I drove 13 miles from my home to the Sally's in Georgetown, TX at Wolf Ranch Towncenter. Sally's was my destination in my big vehicle with low gas mileage. When I entered the store with my teen son, a young employee answered my greeting. My son and I were on the hair color row for a long time (5 minutes)as I was in need of a color change that required a lot of thought. An older employee came down the aisle with a broom. She did not greet me nor did she offer to help me find something. She said "Don't move," and she SWEPT AROUND MY SANDALED FEET! I stepped back and cried out. She said "What? I didn't get your toes." I was LIVID. I shouted "Am I in your way?? Are you crazy? Guess what? Sallys won't be getting my money today! You have ZERO MANNERS!" And I left the store with my son. I am a regular Sally's customer in California. I recently moved to Texas and this was my first visit here. Mind you, I was happy and excited to be going to Sally's! I intended to buy hair color, developer and scissors. So, I would have spent about $45 - $50. Lost revenue is not the point here, really. I am 53 years old and have NEVER been treated like dirt on the floor in any retail establishment before tonight. Now tha I think of it, NO ONE ANYWHERE has ever treated me that way! Get your district manager out to that store in Wolf Ranch Towncenter to teach your employees common courtesy!! I will probably be back -- but to a different Sally store. I am still in disbelief. =================================== Corporate wrote me back with sincere apologies and a promise to send out the District Manager to the store. Thank goodness!!

What do I love about Cato Stores? The organization and selection. It is so easy to glance through the store with a variety of offerings without being so jam packed that you can't find anything. The grouping of colors and collections make it extremely easy to put together an outfit without wondering what will or won't match, even for the fashion-challenged like myself. I went in for one top that I had seen online and ended up walking out with 2 new pairs of jean capris and 3 new tops - all for less than I might spend on one outfit elsewhere. Whether you have 30 minutes or hours to spare, Cato is definitely worth a trip for something new and fresh.

Sigh. But today, I was enjoying my experience thanks to Alyssa. Alyssa asked if I needed help and I let out a sigh, yes. Someone please help me. I said I would like to find Jean shorts maybe a pair of jeans too and white jeans. She asked style, size, and I was a deer caught in headlights. Girl I have no idea what size I am, and style, I like the lighter color denim. And distressed. After that I don't know. So she started grabbing pants off shelves, & hangers, was so nice to have a personal shopper, and she made it actually fun. Every time she saw something in my arms, should would put it in a fitting room with my name on the door. After trying on 6 pairs of bottoms and a dress. I ended up with a pair of jeans, 2 different style jean shorts. When I checked out, Patrick suggested getting another item since it will be 50% off. Which I didn't even realize I only had 3 pairs. A fourth would be 50% off. So I wanted to get a second pair of Jean shorts, but it just happens I grabbed the last one of that size. But... luckily Patrick said he could order me the shorts and they would be delivered to my house with free shipping. So I said, let's do it. Super excited. So in total, 3 pairs of Jean shorts and 1 pair of jeans. And I think I paid about $180.00 for 4 pieces. Huge savings today. I'm so happy with my shopping experience. Thank you Alyssa, you truly were a life saver. And Patrick as well, had a great experience paying for my items. And I'm excited to receive the other shorts within this week.
