I bough a car from this dealership, and after 2 week I found out sever problems, that they did not let me know. They add 2500 to my bill for a warrantee without let me know of this charges. The first issue was transmission and it repaired by them. Now I find another issue with A/C not working. read more

We were looking at buying a used car from this dealer, a 2010 Blue Honda Fit they had it listed as safetied and after test driving the salesman Cambrin, had told us there was no need to get the vehicle inspected as they do the safety themselves. I was worried about the rust on the car as it was older and was suspicious that it wasn't safe. He continued to argue that the mechanic had already looked at it and "measured the metal thickness". So we insisted on getting it inspected by our mechanic. The manager and the salesman both agreed that if there was anything that came up in the inspection that they would fix anything so it passed safety. (As they were selling the car safetied). My mechanic found that both rocker panels were rusted and had holes which wouldn't pass safety, along with a seized intermediate shift making the steering tight among other minor issues. When we went back with the inspection they refused to be honest about the agreement we made and claimed it was being sold as-is. Which I never would've considered the car if that was the case. They conveniently left out the safety from the contract we agreed and put a deposit onto. When I confronted the manager about the dishonesty he instantly got defensive and playing the victim saying "why are you insulting me by calling me a liar". Please beware of this dealership as they wasted our time and money over this. read more

Recently leased a 2024 CX-90 from performance mazda and the level of true family really comes to mind throughout my experience. We were met by the sales rep Cambrin Kuhn, who took us (my wife and I ) on a test drive with the vehicle. Throughout that time, he showed his professionalism and knowledge. Paperwork was done quickly, and through docusign as it was difficult to get back to Orleans Mazda at the time. Pickup was smooth and the staff there, including Peter K really cared about my family and gave us some souvenirs for my 2 little boys. Needless to say, it was a very pleasant experience, and everyone had a genuine smile on their face. Didn't feel like I was being pressured into anything. In fact - was told to take the time needed to think about all the facts and come up with a fully fledged decision based on our individual needs. read more

I purchased a Mazda3 here. A decent enough place to purchase a car, they will negotiate and there is not too much emphasis on high dealer margin - low purchaser value extras like paint protector and scotchgard. They do nonetheless try, and they will insist you to sign a 'waiver' when you decline. Tacky hard sell but certainly not the worst I've experienced in this city. If you don't mind putting up with a bit of BS from the sales agent you can deal successfully here and get a decent price. I do not recommend servicing here however, especially if you are an informed customer and/or a Mazda enthusiast who frequents online forums. I had two legitimate concerns I wanted addressed that were covered by Mazda Canada technical service bulletins (TSB's). Performance didn't directly refuse to address these, but did everything in their power to make a resolution as difficult as possible. First there were gratuitous investigations into the issues identified. I say gratuitous because there was no mystery to the problems presented - the Mazda database identified each issue as well as the approved solution, everything was right there in the TSB's on their system. All they needed to do was fix the identified problems per the appropriate TSB. Instead they made every attempt to draw out the affair with pretend investigations that they then had the audacity to (attempted to) bill me for. Not amused. I was also unsuccessful getting warranty work addressed, even though it was identified three months prior to the end of the warranty. As with the TSB's I was given the run around, requests were lost, deferred, forgotten. This happened service after service. "We'll get it next time, remember to warn us in advance". I no longer service vehicles at Performance. Carling Mazda is an exceptional place to get a Mazda serviced and the parts department is second to none. They know their products, they have the experience and honesty to access problems quickly and easily without a lot of undue labour hours spent on 'investigation'. The work is done efficiently and is always correct the first time. I wouldn't purchase from Carling Mazda and have lingering regrets for having recommended so to others. One colleague suffered what some might consider to be a bait-and switch. In his case he was presented a contract for a similar but significantly less well optioned car than the one he test drove and negotiated on. It was not confusion, he had never even seen the car that the contract was written for. He was fortunate that he had the presence of mind to do check the VIN on the contract against the VIN on the car he wanted before signing. On the second pass the paperwork had the negotiated trade-in value mysteriously revised to $2,200.00 lower than agreed. Again, he caught it. In total he was handed three incorrect contracts (all of which favoured the Carling Mazda financially) before a correct contract reflecting the deal agreed to was presented. You can draw your own conclusions as to what was going on there. read more

I love my current mazda that is now 10 years old and I needed an upgrade. Back then I recall the sales people were friendly and helpful...things have changed over the years. The sales person seemed completely uninterested in helping me and questioned why I wasn't ready to purchase a car sooner then later. The test drive was almost pointless, did a 5 minute loop that didn't really allow me to test out any of the features. Of course I forgot to mention that the test drive occurred after I told the sales person that we will not be purchasing all that soon, so the quality of the service also went downhill from there. We always had to prompt the sales guy for information about the vehicle or else he wouldn't speak. I always say to not judge the vehicle by the way the salesman sells it but it's difficult not to. The quality of the salesperson greatly impacted my decision. And because of that, I will not be taking my business here after that experience. read more

My wife and I wanted to test drive a Mazda MX 5 RF and made an appointment with Angela at Performance Mazda. She had the vehicle ready and waiting for us to drive, and was a total pro in follow-up discussions on price, trade-in etc. We decided against the vehicle -- practicality ruled, though we loved it. But Angela was great to deal with and we would go back to Performance Mazda in a flash in future car buying. We were already happy customers, having bought one vehicle there about three years ago. read more

Went to this dealership about a year ago to have my check engine light checked out. When I came to pick up my car I was told that in needed 2600$ in repairs and that it was likely unsafe to drive home. Since then I have had my car checked by 3 mechanics who say its TOTALLY FINE. warning: young girls send a man to this store to avoid being lied to. Worst dealership ever to deal with. I have dealt with many. Customer Service nonexistent here. Don't ever believe your getting the best deal here and go elsewhere. Service dept same. I got a better deal on a more equipped car at Carling Motors and walked away from my deposit. In my experience Kanata Mazda is the best so far and their service dept is like no other I've been to or dealt with. read more

Do they really want to sell cars? My husband has been seriously thinking about buying a Mazda 3 and went to this dealership to look around. Once he told the Sales Associate, Luciano, that he was looking at a summer purchase, the customer service ended there. My husband was looking at a GT model and Luciano basically insinuated that it was too expensive for his pocketbook and made him feel unworthy to be in this dealership and walked away from him. Because of this horrible experience, we will definitely not be purchasing from Performance Mazda in future. Off to the Honda dealership! read more
