    Interesting experience. Good (for me): right car, right…read moreprice - and the staff was fine for me. No upselling. Decent tires (60%ish left), recent oil change and inspection. Was pre-approved through Navy Federal - they beat the rate by 0.5% The not-so-good: car was not clean (and still had all their rental stickers on it). Had less than 1/2 tank. Single remote (policy). Would pass inspection, but really needs new wiper blades. Remote had low battery. It's on me for not being more thorough with my test drive, but it's pulling left at highway speeds, likely needs an alignment. Short-staffed on weekend, spent quite a while waiting to complete purchase. My opinion: if you go in there with a plan (and car) in mind you'll do ok. If you expect to be waited on hand-and-foot it may not go so well - they're pretty busy and will go with the easy sale. Basically it was the after-sales process I had issues with. But at the end of the day I got the car I wanted at a price that was easily 10% less than anybody else in the area. So I changed the fob battery, filled the tank, will get another remote (they gave me a fob which'll save me $50ish), pulled the stickers off and will get new wipers - and still come out about $1,500 ahead. I'd go back.

Drove 5hrs for my appointment (which I was told you needed in order to look at any vehicles on the lot) got there only to have a couple walk-ins at the same time looking at the car I traveled to purchase. They didn't honor my appointment and started both mine and the other couples purchase processes together stating whoever gets the paperwork done first gets the car. I should've left. I barely got a 2 min test drive in before being rushed to start paperwork. They wasted 3hrs of my time going through the process only to sell the car to the people that just walked in. Not only that but I stated I was doing a trade in upon arrival but had to go through that process again anyway. They low balled my trade in 2018 Jeep to $4k when they said they go off of carvanna which was estimated well over $8k for. I settled for the trade-in value only to have the vehicle I traveled 5hrs upon appointment for sold out from under me. They are completely disorganized don't know what's going on between employees and were not honest to customers when it came to needing appointments to be seen first. Shady business Just selling cars asap without care to customers who actually make appointments.

Only problem was that dealer was 4 hours away. Called and spoke to Nathan at around 4:00pm. That's when the over the top exceptional customer service experience began. We had recently thought we found a vehicle only to arrive at dealer and find the car was sold. Expressed our concern that this might happen again. Nathan explained the VA Select Policy of not "holding" a car if someone came into lot and wanted to purchase. What he did do, was commit to letting us know upon closing that evening (via text), that the car was in fact still available and we could commit to driving there in the morning. But that wasn't good enough for Nathan. He also went the extra mile and took a picture of a scratch he noticed on the vehicle and sent us pictures. Said he would ask the body shop to buff it out first thing in the morning. We texted Nathan when we departed our house at 6:30am (they don't open until 9) and he was then able to remove it from the lot so no one could purchase since we were now enroute. Upon arriving to the location after 4-hour drive, the first thing we say at the entrance was a shiny, newly detailed Dodge Charger. My son was very excited and Nathan proceeded to give us a 30-minute certificate to do a test drive. This completely suprised us, as our experience had been drive around the block with saleperson hovering in back seat. Son was convinced it was the car after driving it for 5 minutes. Upon our return, Nathan offered us beverages and escorted us to his desk for the daunting "sign and make it yours experience". Not once did we feel pressure. No haggling was required (we knew this before we came), and Nathan patiently answered each and every question. Once the paperwork was complete and ready for us to go to the financing department, we all went outside and talked about the car some more. Nathan shared several personal stories with our family and we were happy that we had him as our salesperson. But it didn't stop there. Once Finanace was ready for us, Nathan took it upon himself to take the vehicle to the the nearby service station and top of the gas tank. Outstanding. The financing process was quick and painless as we had pre-approval for the loan. Robert Seeney (F & I Manager) took over from there and made sure all the paperwork was in order since we were from out of state. He was extremely professional and had the personality of someone who took the customer service experience seriously. Bottom line is that our experience with Virginia Select Auto was exceptionally pleasant and we would hope that everyone would get the opportunity to work with Nathan if in the market to purchase a car. Their no-pressure process is something we will never forget. Thank you VA Select Auto!

My 20 year old did preliminary research and knew the car he wanted to see about. From the moment we arrived, I watched Asker treat my boy with professional courtesy, confirming this was a manual transmission (my son replied that actually is a major selling point, and I got to be proud for teaching my son stick shift), a little friendly conversation, and then time for his test drive. When we returned from the drive, my son had a question about the engine and Asker immediately brought the dealership mechanic to respond with expertise. The interactions remained very easygoing (i.e. no pressure or gimmicks) with the exchange of detail towards a purchase. Asker gave my son a fair trade-in for his previous car currently stashed at a garage, and did all the paperwork right there in house: registration, taxes, temporary tags, the works! I was so impressed with the ease of the car buying process . It's nice to do business with someone who is genuinely interested in listening to the customer, and I'm pleased my son had that good fortune today.

We met the owner there in the morning after driving 4+ hours the night before. This KIA and this dealership were perfect for what we were looking for. His price was very reasonable and he worked w/us to do a cash deal and not have to finance anything. It's been 1 week today and we love it. I drive it to work every day and my husband suggests we drive the Soul when we go out together. So far we only had to fill it 1x even including the 200 mile drive back home.
