Horrible. I called and she was so nice. We mixed up our appointment time I heard 5:30 she heard 4:30.. I called her to confirm the appointment and since it was a misunderstanding she said it was still ok to come in at 5:30 so I still drive here once i get there she tells me I'm late for my appointment! We had just had a conversation and she said it was fine so I reiterated that. Anyway she took the appointment i fill out the first time client card and she asks me how short do I want her hair and she doesn't agree with me. She said she wouldn't cut my dogs hair that short but she said it's ultimately up to me so I still said I wanted her hair cut short and she STILL wanted to argue about it. Unreal. I've been cutting my dogs hair short forever. I don't see the big deal. I left. I won't be returning to nazzy. I thought I had found a nice place for my pup since we just moved to simi. I'll have to search for another dog groomer around here. read more

I dropped my 13 pound dog off to be groomed. 2 1/2 half hours later he was done. She said he didn't like the blow dryer so she put him in a cage for an hour with the fan blowing on him. She said it took two people to hold him down to groom him. I've never had this problem at any other groomers. When I got him into the car I noticed something was wrong it was like he couldn't bend his legs. For one week the dog could barely walk and had no energy. And he refused to take treats from me. I'm not sure what happened during those 2 1/2 hours but he was pretty traumatized. I normally go to Petsmart but I thought I would try somebody new. Needless to say I'll be going back to Petsmart. read more

We started taking our puppy (at the time) to Nazy prior to her opening Perfect Pups, after my parents raved about her, and her grooming for their dog Bella. That was 3 years ago, and I wont take my dog anywhere else. My parents in fact also still go to Nazy, with their new poodle Teddy. Everytime we walk in my dog Sugar gets so excited to see Nazy, I have never seen anyone love dogs as much as Nazy. Its evident how much she loves her job, and the dogs. She loves on my sugar, and gives her the best grooming. She is protective if we let Sugar get matted, or if we bring her in matted. It really shows how much she cares for dogs, for her its not about the money its about treating dogs good, and caring for them. She has taught us so much on how to properly care for the poodle hair, and always works with us to give Sugar the best timely care, and at a great cost. Nazy is an amazing woman, doing what she loves. I will never take my dog anywhere else. read more

I have taken my dogs here for quite some time. The last two times she has told me my dog is matted (yorkie poo), and we brush him regularly and he was not matted when I dropped him off... then I end up with a shaved dog.... the nails were not cut the last two times and the dogs have had nicks from the razor on their ear that were not reported to me. This time, one of my puppies has developed such a severe infection in the ear from the nick that he had to be anesthetized and then the infection removed. AGAIN the nails were not cut. The biggest concern to me as a small business supporter is that she obviously lacks integrity...to not even tell me she nicked the pups ear is shameful and completely unacceptable. Now I have a huge vet bill! Nazy has always been somewhat rude in the past but I continued going as it is right by my house and very convenient. I will spend the extra time to get caring and loving dog grooming by someone that is not just doing it for money but love for the animals. She is over booked, frazzled and overwhelmed!!! Terrible experience. I took my two Yorkie puppies in for a 3 pm appointment on a Saturday. When I arrived the owner was flustered and said her staff member did not show up to work and that she was running behind. Since she did not provide me with a courtesy call to ask me to reschedule I offered to not go through with the appointment. She said she would still groom them, however it would take her a bit longer to finish. I never in a million years thought hat would translate into a 5 1/2 hr appointment. Then when we picked up the pups she complained that they kept having to go out and tried to scold me. Once we arrived home and looked over the pups we noticed they had the most uneven and jagged cuts. Very disappointing. I actually tried them out based on Yelp reviews. I'm not sure how we received the worst service, but we did. I will never recommend her. read more

Just had an awful experience with Nazy. I brought in my 7- month- old puppy, who had never been to a groomer before. My appointment was at 3 and she said he'd have to go in a cage until she was finished with 2 other dogs. I was worried about him being in a cage that long. I thought she advertised as being serviced at your appointment time. Anyway, I asked about waiting and she said no because there were other dogs ahead of mine, she didn't know how long it would take to get to know my dog, etc. Then she started to sound like she didn't want to groom my dog by saying she couldn't blow dry him because of his behavior, something about his fur and other things. We finally agreed I would bring him back in the morning when she had more time to work with him. As I walked out, I heard her talk about me in a negative manner to her assistant. I didn't do anything to warrant the attack except express concern over leaving my scared puppy with her for a long time and was taken aback. I told her that I heard what she said and that I'd be taking my business elsewhere. All she said was, "OK." I guess she doesn't care about offending her customers. read more

The owner is amazing. She made sure my pups were comfortable and talked me through everything that she was going to do. I love this place and it's the only place I will take my dogs from now on. It took awhile, but my dog had a lot of matted hair, other than that the price is fair, the time was reasonable, the amount of love for the dogs was astronomical, great experience. I don't think my dogs will be scared of grooming ever again. read more

This place was a little pricey but over all she is good with the dogs. And she does a fantastic job grooming them as well!

HORRIBLE!! HORRIBLE!! HORRIBLE!!! If i could give less than a star, I'd go for it. I took my 2 year old Bichon for grooming. I dropped him at 1PM and she told me that it might take up to 3 hours (which is perfect). I did'nt hear from her until 5PM. I called her worriedly to know if everything is ok. She asked me to come at 6.00PM to pick him up. We went to pick him up and I was awestruck. My dog looked completely different. She sensed from my furios face and went inside and brought 2 hands full of fur, which does not even match my dog's coat and informed me that his hair is so matted, and suggested to shave him completely. On the contrary, she checked my dog when i went to drop him and said his coat is beautiful and does not have mats. I was so mad, i took my dog and my husband completed the transaction and we left. She called me the other day and said she was sorry and that she would like to return my money. I would never go back to that hell hole, not even to collect my money. I would never recommend this Spa. read more

I was concern about having my 12 year old dog shaved for the first time. Thanks to the Yelp reviews my husband and I chose Nazy at Perfect Pups Spa. She was so amazing. Not only did she stay open late on a Sunday night, but she allowed my husband to sit with our dog while she was shaved. Nazy spent over and hour and was so good with our dog. She knew she may be afraid of the noise of the shaver so she started with the one that did not make much noise. After she was done she showed my husband the spots she missed and why; too close to the face, fat tumor, etc. She also does not kennel the dogs. They are allowed to walk around the front of the shop while they wait. I highly recommend Nazy! read more

Nazy is the BEST groomer. She is caring and really loves her job. She cares for all the dogs that come through her door. I have been taking my dog Sierra, a sheltie, to her for over two years and wouldn't thinking of going anywhere else. My dog has a hip problem and she is gentle with her and takes her time. Nazy is the best groomer you can find in the valley! My Charlie has been going to her for 7 years. It is the only place he truly enjoys going to. He makes himself at home from the minute he walks in the door. He feels comfortable because Nazy is so kind and loving. She knows everyone's name and treats them with TLC. When it's time to come home, Nazy will call and you can be assured your baby will come home looking fabulous and smelling good! Nazy takes pride in in her work and considers each pet's special needs. Each pet receives their own special treatment. I know my Charlie is safe and always being treated as a king when he is with Nazy. This is a good feeling to have when you have to leave your baby for a few hours. Nazy is incredible ! Our dog is a little scared of everything. Every other groomer we take him to help cowers in fear and is shaking uncontrollably even after we pick him up. Nazy was so sweet and we filled out an information card on our pup and then she invited us to walk him around the salon and the grooming area, letting him get used to everything while explaining what they do to make the pups more comfortable. So we left him and two hours later he was done. When we arrived we couldn't believe it. He was jumping and happy and wagging his tail. He was jumping on the little couches they have out front and even playing with another dog. We are so impressed with Nazy and we will keep bringing him back. The prices are extremely reasonable and the people are wonderful. Nazy even was getting kisses from our pup, something totally unheard of! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! I took my dogs here based on the yelp reviews , but have regretted I ever took my dogs her.This place is dirty and filthy , she used grooming tools that were dirty and not sanitary . She also kept yelling at my dogs throughout the whole process , I kept telling her that my dogs do not like to be groomed and she kept lecturing me on how my dogs are misbehaved , her energy was negative and my dog definitely felt it . I told her several times that my dogs are scared of the dryer and the Clippers and she made so much noise and threw things around .I can go on and on but if you love your dog's please don't bring your dog's here . As a result I had to take my dogs to the vet the next day because of how traumatized they were , it took a couple of weeks before they were back to normal. I hope the that more clients can take a closer look at her facility of how dirty it is and how she yells at the dogs. She is not gentle nor patient. read more

We took Marley, our newly adopted rescue terrier mix to Mrs. Nazy because our regular groomer was not available & we had read positive reviews about Perfect Pups. We could not have had a greater first experience with Mrs. Nazy! She treated our rescue pup with more love & compassion than I have ever seen from a groomer. Since this was our dog's first grooming in some time she was fairly matted & in desperate need of a cut. Mrs. Nazy took the time to explain her thoughts on how she should be groomed & did not want to cage our dog because of her rescue background. She also mentioned that she would take extra time & our dog would not be ready right away. We had absolutely no problem waiting for a great first cut from Mrs. Nazy's exceptionally caring boutique.
