Literally this lady is so uncultured she really expressed the only way she could trim the matts out of my golden retriever was shaving her... And when I said I didn't want her shaved but just trimmed, she complained how it was too hard for her and would take too long, that i should make an appointment in the morning Like I didn't already wait a week to get this appointment.... I called and made an appointment for my Pomeranian who really needed some love. Being new to the area I didn't really know where to go but based on Nazys reviews I knew I had to give her a try. You will not be disappointed, not only did she do a great job, you can feel how much she cares for your pet. I do suggest you bring cash tip because you can't leave one on a card. My girlfriend's dog had a few broken nails that kept getting caught in her fur and was in need of immediate attention because she was in pain. We were referred to Perfect Pups and brought her in where we were greeted immediately. Nazy, who is the shop owner took our dog in right away. She mended the nails with a special glue and trimmed our dogs other nails. She took extra care of our dog trying to comfort her throughout the whole process. Took my dog to perfect pup spa for the first time today since it's near my apartment (LA & Yosemite). It was my dog's first time being groomed since we adopted him. Nazy was so sweet and accommodating. We told her that he has sensitive skin due to allergies, and he was not fond of crates. She was very careful with his skin, using great shampoo and conditioner. She also let him lay on the dog beds instead of being in a the crate. It made me so comfortable leaving him there. And I was shocked at how affordable she is. Nazy fit my pug in for a flea bath & nail trim only a couple of hours after I called her, even though we were brand new customers. My pug came out smelling amazing, instead of all chemicals from the flea bath. Her prices are more than reasonable. We're from San Francisco, and the same quality services there would have been three times the cost. I'm not sure who loves her more, me or my dog. read more

I just picked my dog up from Perfect Pups and all I can say is WOW! Swayze is about 8 years old and hasn't been this soft and fluffy since he was a puppy. He was there a bit longer than I expected, even though Nazy warned me he would take a while, but the results are absolutely worth it. She took the time to get all of the mats out of his under coat and he is like a new dog. I've had him groomed at a bunch of different places in different states, and even somewhere else here in Simi, but I will never take him anywhere else. Went here because of all the Yelp recommendations. We have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and she had never heard of the breed. She assured us she could handle large dogs. I am only giving 3 stars because he was very clean but he was there the entire day, they said he didn't like the dryer. What dog does? You just take control of the situation. We own the most passive dog ever and she could not lead him around anywhere. She is probably great with small breeds but I would not recommend taking a large dog there from our experience. read more

By far the best groomer I've ever been to. Nazy was amazing with my two hairy children. She immediately made friends with my dog that usually requires a muzzle (which btw she will not use). And my other dog doesn't like other dogs but somehow here there were no problems. Both of my kids had no problems at all! Her prices are unbelievably reasonable too. read more

I have been taking my long hair Chihuahua mix to Nazy for several years now and wont take her anywhere else. Bella is a piece of work since she has a severe case of separation anxiety. Nazy has always been great at calming her down and her coat is always groomed perfectly even so I know that Nazy puts her at ease. We also recently took our labrador mix medium size Jewels dog and she looked great and smelled so good. All I can say is that not every dog or person is going to be happy every time, but, I feel that Nazy tries her best with every dog every time. I cannot say enough good things about Perfect Pups Spa!! Nazy is so sweet and so good to her human and k9 customers. Both times I have gone my Cavlier has been very matted and she takes the time to make sure all the mats are cut out and does not take more fur then needed off. In the past the few groomers we have been to they always shave my dog completely. I also love that I can get an appointment within days of when I call for an appointment. Love love love! Perfect pup spa had a friendly staff and amazing service. We took our little long hair dachshund. We have been told before by other groomers he has dry skin. We didn't mention this to perfect pups when we dropped him off. The sweet owner (can't remember her name now) gave him a special bath because she noticed and he was soooo soft. My dogs looked good but....They were brought in at 11 a.m. and were not done until 10:30 p.m.!! I felt SO bad for them since they basically waited in cages all day only to get groomed last and not until the evening. The owner should not just take in 4 dogs if she knows she can't get to them until way later. I just feel so bad for my dogs being stressed out for that long. I have nothing but praise for Nazy and the work she has done for Charley ( my rescue terrier of some sort). I'm a bit puzzled by the negative reviews, as you can see right into the grooming area which is always clean and neat when I'm there. While there are usually one or two other dogs being worked on, I've always gotten the sense that she is patient and kind in her work. I used to go to another place where it was commonplace to have nine or ten dogs lined up. With Perfect Pups, my dog gets personalized attention and his coat looks 100% better than when he came home from the previous groomer. Nazy does take her time, but the wait is well worth it. My dog will go nowhere else but to Perfect Pups. read more
