Everyone is very helpful, training was informative, which lead to me never feeling uncomfortable branching on my own. I have had been lucky to work with great clients and their pups. I mainly board dogs in my home, and they are all well trained and have not had any issues. You should feel 100 percent comfortable having MMH take care of any of your pets!

With a shy and anxious dog who is nervous of strangers and sometimes reactive to other dogs on leash, finding a trusted dog walker is no easy task. I found MMH on Yelp and gave them a call. Melissa called me back within 24 hours, and Sarah came out that week to meet me and my dog and assured me that Allison would be able to take care of our pup. As we still had a few walks scheduled with our previous walker, they even coordinated a time for Allison to join our old walker on one of their last visits and help our dog adjust to the change. Allison is amazing, and we are so lucky to have found her! She took the time to get to know and build trust with our dog. Our dog loves her, she sends the best photos and updates after each visit, and she really goes above and beyond to keep us informed of any concerns. We've worked with lots of great dog walkers over the years, but she is the best when it comes to communication. We have regularly scheduled weekly walking, but MMH has also always been able to accommodate our one-off requests. This is one of the benefits of working with a larger company. If we need a one-off walk, and Allison isn't available, MMH has always been able to find someone, and Allison regularly introduces our dog to other walkers so that there are multiple people who can fill in when needed. We've also used MMH for overnight, in-home care, and again, MMH has always been able to accommodate our requests and we've had positive experiences with all the walkers/sitters so far.

I rarely write reviews, but this experience warrants one…read more When I first contacted this rescue, I fully outlined our home situation, including small children and other pets. I made it clear we were willing to wait as long as it took for the right fit and requested a foster-to-adopt arrangement to ensure compatibility. A volunteer recommended a dog and assured us he was a good match for our home. The dog was transported from San Diego to Los Angeles for a meet and greet and was left with us that same day. There was no home check, no reference check, and no medical or behavioral history provided. We were asked to sign a form and submit $500, described as refundable if we did not move forward with adoption. The dog bit my husband the first night. Days later, he lunged at me and broke skin on my face. We stayed in constant communication with the rescue and even hired the trainer they recommended. After six weeks, the dog bit a household employee badly enough that she required ER treatment and stitches. At that point, the rescue agreed to take the dog back. However, when I asked about the $500 refund, I was told that because we had the dog longer than two weeks, we had "legally adopted" him, despite the arrangement being described as foster-to-adopt. When I raised concerns, I received an aggressive and deeply unprofessional email response attacking me personally rather than addressing the safety issues. Afterward, I found the rescue's original social media posts about this dog, which clearly stated he needed an experienced foster or adopter. We were not an experienced behavioral home, and I had been transparent about that from the beginning. We went into this with good intentions and were willing to wait for the right fit. Instead, we were placed in an unsafe situation and then blamed when it failed. Please proceed with caution.

So when we contacted caring songs rescue, it was simply so easy and smooth and the ladies running the rescue greeted us with so much professionalism and they truly wanted to help us find the best pup. They are definitely busy but they always respond to our questions in a few hours and offered us care packages and even offered to waive our adoption fee partially because we came a long way (fly across states) to adopt. Words cannot express my gratitude towards caring songs rescue. It has been a few months since we adopted the most adorable dog from them and we have had an amazing time with him!

At other places she comes home anxious and unsettled, but that has never happened here. The staff truly cares about the dogs, and the personalized updates they send are thoughtful and reassuring. We love that they keep the number of dogs small so the environment never feels chaotic or overwhelming. Every update shows Frankie looking relaxed and genuinely happy, and she always comes home healthy, calm, and in a great mood. It's completely worth it for the peace of mind when we travel. And the occasional complimentary surprise bath before pickup is such a nice bonus!

I honestly can't imagine those early years (or now) without them. What means the most to me is the complete trust I have in their care. Even when I've been traveling for work in other countries--literally on the other side of the world--I have never worried once. I always know Summit is safe, loved, and having the very best time. And he does have the best time--he still runs in with the same excitement as he did on day one. (I cried that first day when he was just a pup and it was my first time leaving him, but Cami hugged me and told me he was going to be just fine and most happy there - and those words are still true to this day!) It's truly his home away from home. He loves all of his fur friends (he made so many, and even I did too from A Bark Idea), lives for water time with the hose (those pictures are the best), or the time they brought in bubbles and Summit has never been more blown away, and I absolutely love the daily photos and updates that keep me connected no matter where I am. :) There is simply no place better in the South Bay (Hermosa), and now with their beautiful new location in Marina del Rey/Venice, it's even more convenient for us. :) I recommend them to everyone I know with a pup--and when you go, look for Summit on the walls... he's one of their photo models! :)

Marie was a pleasure to work with. She is kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate, and she welcomed my found bird with open arms. We adopted our two other birds from local fosters and non-profits. After texting the number of the organization, I was immediately in touch with Marie, sweetest person-ever! We coordinated a date and time to come by and see the available cockatiels ready for adoption. I brought my partner and daughter along. As we got a review of the birds, Marie's hyacinth macaw Howard came over to greet us. Such a handsome, boy! We landed in adopting out a young male cockatiel (likely to be 1 year old due to the pearls still visible in his feathers) named "Patrick". He'd been saved from the elements, rescued after being dropped from the sky by a crow. Marie helped get him back in tip top shape, provided me the labs for his current health state (healthy!) and his DNA sexed paperwork. I appreciated the level of care and service Marie provided. She was professional, detailed, and super accommodating. I really loved her level of attention to understanding each and every bird's quirks, preferences, and history. Before we left, Marie provided a bit of food, snacks, and helped us pick a few perches and toys that "Patrick" would be happy with from his current cage. I was very grateful to be able to donate towards the foundation through Venmo. They also do cash or check, or Zelle. The feel the contribution/donation fee is minuscule compared to the value you give back to new member(s) of your flock. I understand only time will heal him from the trauma of his ordeal. We hope the love, care, and patience, our family can provide him with the right environment to help him heal at his own pace. If you're ever looking to adopt a bird in need, look no further than Fine Feathered Friends. Marie is wonderful and so dedicated, and it shows!
