Went here for the first time, still debating on going back. Although the shape is what I wanted, I ended up with a sizeable cut on my right eyebrow under the arch, and smaller cuts on my left eyebrow in the same location (under the arch) and smaller cuts on the outer sides of both brows. Just came in here to get my eyebrows and lip threaded after a long hiatus because the place I used to go to closed. I have had really bad experiences getting my eyebrows done (because I have a naturally thick eyebrows). I wasn't disappointed and so glad I took a risk to come here. She did a great job wrangling in my brows. I've attached two pictures of my eyebrows before and after. The before photo was taken a few days ago and the after was taken just moments ago after the threading. I will definitely be back! Thank you! Also worth noting, they only accept cash as tip. I love my eyebrows! The lady was very thorough and would stop to give me recommendations on where my eyebrows needed more growing and what not. I used the groupon which included eyebrow threading and upper lip for 8$ where their regular price eyebrow 10$ and upper lip 5$. I'd say that's a great price for the area. On the downside, the type of thread that was used hurt more than previous experience with other salons. read more

I have really difficult eyebrows - lots of area, but sparsely covered. IO Plus they split down the middle. What can I say, it runs in the family. I tried and tried to get an appointment with a fabled waxing magician closer to my home, but she never seems to be "accepting new clients." I hadn't found joy in salons near my home or work that weren't specialists, and took a chance here. JOY. I've been coming now for a year and a half. The normal lady (they both seem to be named Bina) does a very good job, and is open to do the little tweaks I request. As I can usually find a time during normal work hours, I never have had to wait any longer than for her to wash her hands. They also have a loyalty card, if you get it stamped 10x the 11th is on them. Never had any trouble parking, especially on a side street. I haven't been to their other locations, but one time a "second" Bina was there - seriously, different woman, but I think the same name - from the Lincoln Avenue location. Tip well; at these prices they can't be clearing much. read more

I went in for a Brazilian wax. I do this on a monthly basis, so this is not new. I have never had a worse experience. I ended up burned and skin ripped off all over. It took days before I did not have stinging pain. You should most certainly think twice before getting this service here. Furthermore, I am not even sure that the woman spoke English. I tried asking her for direction during the service, and she never answered me once. Horrible experience, and even more horrible result. read more

I was in desperate need of getting my eyebrows threaded and saw Brows Threading was on my way home from work on a Monday. I was able to find free parking around the corner (there's also paid parking in front). I walked in and there was one woman working on a client and a gentleman sitting in the chairs. I'm not sure if he is the owner but he invited me to sit down. I waited maybe 5 minutes and the woman who was working asked what I needed since she would be a little while longer with the client she was working on. I said eyebrow threading and she had me sit and worked on me right away. She was very quick (five minutes tops in the chair) and she did a beautiful and thorough job. There is good lighting too so you don't walk out feeling like you have to touch up when you go home. The cost was $10 which is higher than other places, but he work was good and quick which I appreciated. There is 10% off on Yelp if you check-in at the location so it was $9 plus tip. Overall great experience. Despite he cost being higher than other local shops, I think their attention to detail is better and I will be back! read more
