I absolutely loved my time at the salon today. Val, my nail tech, removed my gel x nails while we were chatting. Jojo, the hair stylist, made the yummy coffee in the picture attached! I will be back! read more

I love this place so much! From the second I walked in on my first time, I was greeted with smiling faces. Heather runs such a great business. She is so sweet and very knowledgeable about nails. I have my girl Val do my nails. Highly recommend! Not only is she amazing, she also is so fun to talk to! I always look forward to my appt just to catch up with everyone! The environment is so different than any other salon I have been to. Even the customers become friends in the salon! And the prices....omg so reasonable! The shop looks so cute and professional that you would think they would be expensive. Get this...I get a dip manicure every time and it's only $45!! Seriously you can't beat it! They are appointment only so make sure to call ahead! Plenty of parking though since they are in an old warehouse. I highly recommend!! read more

I got a gel manicure done and while the nail tech was nice, I was asked some personal questions about language and race that made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Also, the manicure could've been done more meticulously. I was nicked on one finger which I understand can happen accidentally, but since I had the service done, I have noticed some things on my nails that could've been fixed like the polish was done unevenly and there's a little bubble on one of my nails that hopefully won't affect how long the manicure lasts. Overall, my experience was okay but seeing as I'm about to go on a trip, I was hoping it was better. I don't think I'll be returning to this salon. read more

I've driven by this place a lot since I moved back to Pittsburgh, but finally called for an appt! I was so impressed by Valerie who did my nails and the whole location. I went over my lunch break, and it was quite busy that day! Everyone seemed so nice. They had a TON of colors to choose from, and enjoyed chatting with Val throughout my appt. I already have an appt for a pedicure in a few weeks!!! read more

I have gotten two pedicures at this shop: one from Heather and one from Ginette. I've also gotten a full acrylic set done by Ginette. All of my services were flawless, and both nail techs have the best disposition and are great company during services! Also great playlist in the background, some 80s music, some Beatles, a little Motown peppered in every now and then. It has been a month since my acrylic set and the nails are perfectly in tact, besides being grown out. No nail polish peeling off, no nails breaking or falling off. Heading back today for a fill in! Very strongly recommend this place. read more

I've been getting my nails done for decades and they've never been done so nicely before. When you have an appointment you're not left sitting there waiting for a long time. The appointment is honored unlike most places today. My nails look fabulous. I get the pink and white acrylic and the pink is so natural. Also, after 3 weeks my nails aren't chipping at all. They look incredibly natural. They're still not thick at all but they don't break. The quality of the acrylic is so much better than I've ever seen. I completely recommend Perfect 10 nails. read more

I'm sure I'm not the only one that waits until the last minute to book appointments but when I do...I book the best! Lol Yelp reviews brought me here and boy was it a good find. I called and spoke with Connie who fit me and my daughter in on a Saturday afternoon. It was easy peazy and Connie was so nice on the phone. She also offered up directions since it could be an easy miss with GPS. We arrived early and were immediately greeted. We waited while she finished up and she asked if we had designs picked out. My daughter opted for some Tiffany inspired nails with some glitter polish. Going the mature route, I chose some cute colors with neutral colors colors and 1 nail with a gold glitter polish. Both manicures were completed quickly and ended up beautiful. Connie is so very sweet and it felt like I'd known her all my life. My week was pretty rough and I really felt relaxed after leaving here. Can't wait to go back for my next design. read more

I'm in love! Finding a good nail salon is like finding a good partner in life. They'll make you feel good, but when they piss you off, you're done! I'm so happy to report that nothing has pissed me off about this place. Heather, the owner, is so nice and talented. I have searched Pittsburgh high and low for a person that does nail art. I'm not talking about airbrush like in the old school days with fake acrylic nails. I'm talking about art on the nails. The art of painting on nail beds, etc. I want fun and she brings it, plus at a good price. CASH ONLY. But you'll get a regular mani for $20 and nail art starting at 25$. Now I'd never done gel nails before, I was hesitant because I have such horrible peeling nails, I assumed whatever I'd use would just chip instantly. I thought nothing would work on me. But FINALLY, I'm so glad to say I'm in love with the gel nails. They still look fabulous and un-chipped after two whole weeks! I'm hooked! And the nail art she does is adorable! I've come in with specific ideas and she's done them perfectly. I can't wait to see what she can do in the future! I'm addicted and will always have fancy nails now! Don't you wanna be fancy too? read more

I came here at the recommendation and glowing review of Yelp's own Rachel! I was not disappointed. Heather, the owner and the one who did my nails is so friendly and welcoming. I was in the mood to get pampered and unwind and that's exactly how events unfolded. I was looking to get a gel french manicure with some nail art and was very happy with the end product. Heather takes her time to make sure you're nails are well done. She doesn't rush through the process and pays attention to details. She's also a pleasure to talk with and the time seemed to fly by. She was kind enough to look up some nail art ideas on her phone since I was a deer in headlights when it came to any ideas myself. I mentioned that I like floral designs and was fine with having the nail art on a few accent nails. As you can see from my picture the result was exactly what I wanted with some blue rhinestone details! It is hard to find a nail salon but look no further - head over to Perfect 10 Salon for the perfect nail experience! Cash/Check accepted - no credit cards. A note on how to find the location - it's right off the Greentree exit from 376 West (make a right). It's next to Mario's Pizza. After you see the Boston Market, keep your eyes open for the Mario Pizza sign and park in that lot. It can be easy to miss. read more

Perfect 10 Nail Salon - Bee-you-tee-full! - Nail Salons Near Me - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

I am one of those terrible people who calls last minute and throws the salon scheduling completely into delays. Apologies for all that, but on the other hand, Connie was able to fit me in last minute for a manicure and pedicure. I had gotten to the area 1.5 hours early for another engagement, and Connie was able to squeeze my nails into an hour, saving me tons of scheduling headaches later on. I'm also one of those terrible people who doesn't get mani-pedis nearly often enough, and Connie was personable and kind enough to avoid any judgmental comments ;) My services cost sixty five dollars. It was a really lovely experience, and I'm so thankful to have found these ladies [via Yelp]! A note on finding the Perfect 10 Nail Salon: their sign is more difficult to find than the A&J Nails next door. So if you find A&J nails, look in the neighboring building! read more

They were so welcoming and I immediately felt at ease. Val did a great job on my nails. I came equipped with some nail art pictures from Pinterest and Val was able to pull off exactly what I wanted. I had such a great experience with Connie! I went in for a pedi and gel manicure and both look flawless. I particularly loved the pedicure. Perfect 10 Nail Salon - gel manicure is $30 - design is $5 extra. loving it! - Nail Salons Near Me - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

This place is fantastic for many reasons! Having just moved to Pittsburgh within the last year, I've tried a handful of other salons and been disappointed by each one to the point of not returning. All had decent reviews and were in prime locations. However, the service was eh and the nail jobs were not worth money I paid. THIS was the 5th salon I tried and I was thrilled with the pedicure and manicure I received. Heather is by far the best so if you can, ask for her! For the pedicures, they are very thorough but be sure let them know ahead of time what you do and don't want because not all technicians ask (this is common of most places though so I would suggest this no matter what!). Once you tell them, they do an unbelievably good job. I've now been to Heather 2x for gel manicures and had a pedicure from one of the other technicians. I've recommended this spot to a few friends and will keep recommending them because they are worth the extra 5 minute drive. Fantastic service. Fantastic nail job. And a great atmosphere that feels clean and welcoming. read more

How my nails are done is always something I am very particular about. After one appointment with Heather, I'm sold! She takes the initiative to ask how you typically like your nails and checks to make sure they are right every step of the way. Also, there is EVERY color you could every want. Seriously, the salon is your oyster ; ) After going to Asian salons for years (never thinking I would go elsewhere), my mind of officially changed. Heather is very good with conversation and actually cares about her customers, I will definitely be returning : ) read more

GREAT find...my new favorite nail place! Read the other reviews prior, and i needed my gel fingers and toes redone, so i took the chance...and was sooooo so happy! Wonderful work, even tho my nails are short and simple, i can never get polish to stay on, especially on my toes, my tennis shoes always rub off the polish...so gels are the best! They cost more, yes, but worth every damn dollar, they last over 1 month, no chips, no loss of shine, amazing. Perfect 10 is an awesome place, wonderful owner that is creative, patient, very meticulous. Her salon makes u feel at home and u leave happy and ready to come back! No lie...many many other salon in Pgh could use a lesson in customer service from Perfect 10! Make ur apt. now....MIND u it is a bit tricky to find...but if this dingy blonde found it, u will. read more

Love this place!! I called the evening before my desired appt day, and when I first spoke with Connie-she that told me she was sorry but they were full at the requested time, but she would see if she could move something around and call me back...she called me back, as she said she would, and said I could come! The next day was also the day before my wedding, as I was getting my wedding manicure. Connie was very nice! She held great conversation and did a great job on my nails :) the gel mani would've lasted a full 2+ weeks, I'm sure, but I was very rough on them during my honeymoon...I'm no longer living in the Pgh area, but if I need a mani or pedi again while in town-I'll def go back!! Thanks Connie!!! read more

I am at school in Pittsburgh and I have been on the hunt to find a salon to replace my beloved nail lady 5 hours away at home..... 2 years later I found her!!!! Connie did an amazing job on me and my 2 friends. She was open to doing anything I wanted from Pinterest and was super helpful in picking colors. When it comes to the paint that salons use, I only want OPI Shellac. They had a large variety of colors and new collections of the OPI lines. The price was also great- $30 for a gel manicure that lasted 45 minutes and Connie cleaned up my nails perfectly and took her time making sure they were perfect. She was a sweetheart who really cared about me and my friends while we were there! Absolutely amazing! read more

Connie at Perfect 10 has been my nail tech for a very long time, and for good reasons: My nails are always beautiful, and in the 23 years she has done my nails, I have never had a problem. Not one instance of mold, fungus or infection, not ever. The salon is warm & inviting, and both Heather & Connie are personable, charming and friendly. I always feel welcome there. WONDERFUL WONDERFUL WONDERFUL!!!! I very rarely write reviews, only when I'm super upset or super happy with a job someone did. At perfect 10 nails you will see a small storefront right across the road from Starbucks and it's a wonderful place! Don't judge a book by its cover though! It's an absolute wonder inside! They have an extremely comfortable pedi chair thats tucked away so you feel like your special. They have comfortable manicure chairs and a wonderful setup! Now, to talk about the seriously wonderful part about this place... The nail techs! When you walk in you will meet Connie and Heather! They are two extremely nice people who will do your nails fantastically! I've never had a more pampered feeling in my life! Instead of going to a nail place to just get my nails done I can go there and actually RELAX! Today I was a first time customer and honestly I'm going to be a lifetime customer! :) read more

Greatest of all time! The "perfect 10" is no joke. Heather set the bar a little too high and now nobody anywhere ever can compare in my mind. Best quality service/products by far. If I get my nails done on vacation or have to go somewhere else because I waited too long to book, it's just sad how no one can come close. Never met a better mani or pedi or person and I'm a pretty tough judge! read more

Made an appointment to get a coffin shaped, acrylic fill. The ladies were very friendly. This was a much needed appointment since my nails were practically falling apart from the last nail shop I went to. She took her time to do my nails, but not too long. I had a couple nails that just needed the acrylic pulled off to start fresh, but she suggested I leave them on. My nails were basically the same size compared to my old set, which was good. I just wasn't too happy that some of my old, broken nails were not replaced. Also, the shape of my nails are no longer coffin, but more of a regular square shape. Lastly, the sides of my nails are missing polish which really bothers me the more I stare at them! I am a nail fanatic, you'll rarely catch me without my nails done.. So I'm really particular in how I want them done. I may give them & 2nd try to see how it turns out. read more

My girlfriend got her nails done here and she was so happy. She's been here a few times before she said but she specifically told me Connie was her go to girl. She loves the manicures she gets and they always look very nice. She says she never gets cut there, and that it lasts longer than other places she has gone. Her pedicures she loves too because Connie gets all the skin off and fixes all the nails the way she wants. She also likes Connie's waxing the best. She says it's quick and painless and they look really nice! The shop is so cute and clean and everyone so friendly. Connie was so nice and welcoming and very helpful with her picking her colors and designs. I would highly recommend. Best nail salon in Pittsburgh! read more

I couldn't have had a better experience at Perfect 10 Nail Salon. I sent a message to various salons requesting information. Heather, the owner, promptly replied and was able to give me the availability for the openings. My appointment was on 8/14/19 at 6:30pm and I made sure to arrive early. The salon is conveniently located down the road from Parkway Center Mall, with ample parking. The salon is impeccably clean. Heather is very warm and welcoming. Although, she was finishing up a client, she told me that I could find my color of choice in the plethora of polishes that she has and took the time out to draw the water from my pedicure. Additionally, Heather is extremely personable so there was never a lack of conversation. I absolutely love the pedicure that she gave me and I ADORE the full set of acrylics in a pastel yellow with a flamingo on each hand that she did, as well. Her work is awesome and I will definitely be going back to visit for pampering. read more

I made an appointment based off all the great Yelp reviews, bad idea. I have never written a poor review, but given my terrible experience I feel I should warn future customers. The good: Making an appointment was very easy and Connie was nice on the phone. I didn't mind that the salon was kind of dirty and had a similar hygienic feel as an Asian nail salon. The other nail tech with Connie seemed nice too. The bad: I came in with gel nails on and was slightly turned off when Connie started filing the polish off with a mechanical file. She used the file on my skin and assured me it was "gentle." I found this odd because all the other American salons I've been to remove gel with an acetone soak. Then she proceeded to fire off several personal questions that made me feel uncomfortable (I.e. when do you want children, how many bedrooms does your house have, how much did you buy your house for, what are your property taxes?). The questions went on and on. It was very odd uncomfortable conversation that lasted the entire appointment. The ugly: Connie was very rough with my nails, so much so that I started bleeding profusely from my middle finger! She ignored it and just kept wiping the blood with an old dirty towel. The one finger was bleeding so badly that she didn't even notice that my other middle finger was slightly bleeding as well. No apology was received until the end of the appointment. She said "sorry I removed your hang nail and made you bleed" and then told me to go wash my hands and use a scrub brush to remove the blood. Gross! Even after all the awkward personal questions and bleeding I wasn't going to write a poor review. I feel for small business owners and Connie did seem like a nice person. However I write this review with two infected nails... They are red puffy and hurt like hell. The experience is upsetting to me and I don't want others to go there without being warned first. read more
