The ambiance of the restaurant is great. Very classy on the inside. However, we got seated all the way in the corner right underneath the projector screen at a tiny table up against the wall. It was my husbands birthday and I even made reservations well in advance and noted it was his birthday, and we still got stuck in the corner. Those tables have a tiny little ottoman as a chair (with no back). Lots of children in this section. Compared to the center of the restaurant where it looked like more adults, more comfortable seating, a candle in the middle of the table, etc. We were seated for quite awhile before our server came over and gave us some water. He did not introduce himself. It was our first time here and he explained nothing about the menu. We could not hear him the entire time he served us, he was so quiet. It's a loud place too (especially in the front where we were). Also, no mention of my husbands birthday from the server! My house margarita was good. My husband wanted the skinny margarita but to sub the tequila for the Serrano tequila (to make it a skinny spicy) and was was told they could not to do that because they pre-batch make their margaritas. We found it out odd that they couldn't just make him a cocktail from scratch? The guacamole was very yummy! For $13 it was a very small portion. But delicious chips as well! I got the steak fajitas and those were also very good. $28 and there were about 7 slices of steak. Portions are small but very yummy! My husband got the Carne Asada and that was delicious as well. We unfortunately were just stuck at a tiny table and didn't have much room for all our dishes + space to eat comfortably. We unfortunately were never asked how our food tasted, and if everything was okay once we started eating it. No one ever came back. We have been here a couple of times for dine-in and take-out. All of our experiences have been great! This was the first time for happy hour. The happy hour was amazing! We ordered everything on the happy hour menu and got the classic margs. There was an issue with our drinks and the service was quick to remake them and they ended up being perfect! All items were delicious with the mini chili rellenos and potato flautas being a must! This was also the first time we took our kids with us and they ate everything on their plate. Plus they gave them Wikki Stix that kept them occupied the entire time. We love Perdida! Can't beat the service and the food! read more

The best Mexican restaurant of all time!! The house margaritas are not made with a cheap sweet and sour mix .They are how I make them agave ,lime juice and tequila ...perfection . Background music too loud. I'm not sure why rest play loud music as it is well proven good doesn't taste as good in a noisy environment. The patio is darling with fringed umbrellas and great eclectic space indoors. Perfectly cleaned restrooms with nice soap and lotion . They pay great attention to details. The salsas were so good, and we loved the crispy carnitas. Really loved the rice and beans too. The server could have been a little more attentive though and explained the different salsas. I'm so happy to have Perdida in my neighborhood! The fried avocado tacos were delicious, the red sauce was spot-on, and the nachos were crispy and fresh. You can tell they use good quality ingredients, which makes everything taste even better. The vibe is cozy with tasteful decor, and the staff made us feel welcome. Want to start by saying the food was incredible. We got the baha enchiladas, flautas, chips, and drinks. Everything was delicious, we wished the restaurant sold their sauces so we could take them home. Everything else felt so disorganized. We waited ten minutes for anyone to acknowledge us at the hosts table that by the time we were there was a hefty line behind us. We waited at the bar for our table and had to wait another ten for the bartender to serve us drink. All whatever by this point. We waited 30 mins for our table which is also fine bc we were warned. It took 20 mins for a waitress to bring us menus and by that point we were getting pretty hangry. We ordered right when we could get her attention and waited 50 mins for food. What's funny was our chips came after our entrees and we had to remind our waitress. She asked us when we got our food if we wanted other drinks which also didn't turn up until we were done with our food and a reminder. We waited another 20 for her to fill up our waters and asked her to bring the bill so we didn't have to wait longer bc we were ready to leave. I get restaurants get busy but our waitress even seemed frustrated and was complaining to another employee right next to our table about another customer complaining about the wait which was a little awkward. Again, just disorganized. We want to return but might wait and see if the time management improves because the food is definitely worth it. read more

I booked the private room for my 42nd birthday which i was really excited about since I haven't had a birthday party in a few years. I was told that I would have to spend 1000 minimum to book the party room that was not going to be a problem because there were 20 of us! Before everyone arrived we ordered pitchers of margaritas and appetizers well even before our friends got settled and ordered a manager approached my husband accusing us of not spending the minimum. I Don't recommend if you're going as a reserved large group and want separate bills. They do not split bills, and only let you use 2 cards to pay. That's a bummer because most people can't "math" and it was such a pain to figure out who ordered what in such a large group and get cash app/ Venmo from boomers.. not. We ordered a marg, the best of perdida plate (has a lil bit of everything and highly recommend) and the salsa trio. The food was amazing and so was our server Reuben. He truly made it a good experience but I haven't had food this good in awhile. Def my go-to spot now. It's not 100% Mexican food, it's Mexican coastal. What is that? Atmosphere when we enter was good for a new restaurant! Brand new as in only maybe a month open. However, the hostess never checked us in 45 minutes later after a 20 minute table wait. I had to approach her to question our time. She finally added us to a table. We sit down at a small table crowded side to side with other guests. We order Margaritas and the trio appetizer. The queso was watered down and cold. Nothing replaced!! Order the carne asada plate and mix fajitas. Mix fajitas come out and no carne asada plate. Ten minutes pass before waiter comes back to ask about his plate. We were then informed that he never entered the second meal in the system! Told they were going to refire the meal. Carne asada meal comes out, meat is cold and raw. Not medium, it was rare! One tortilla to the whole plate. Waiter returns and we had to ask him for two water refills (twice). I will say, and I hate using this word but for $145 meal we were disappointed! This restaurant by far is not worth a date night for $145 (not including tip)! Matthew R was our server. As we were getting ready to pay we watched an older couple across from us, woman got her food and man patiently waited as well! Same server. She had her food gone before he came around to check on the gentleman! We did leave a decent tip even though they could have fixed the situation and never did! We will not be returning here. Well sometimes you just have to walk out of a restaurant and this was one of those. Me and friends decided to try out this new place and were quickly sat down and then completely ignored and forgotten for 10 minutes, so we walked out. If you are going to charge on average $10 per taco... maybe just maybe make your guests know that eventually you'll get to them. It was like we sat in a dead zone between 2 servers that decided our table was not their table. Probably won't go back or try again, don't even think they noticed 4 people just get up a leave... thanks for the lukewarm water and ignoring 4 people. We have come here a few times now. Once for dinner, once for lunch and last time for drinks. The place is decorated nice and the vibe is really fun but easy to miss if you don't know it's in the back of the building behind another restaurant. They don't have a lunch menu so dinner pricing makes for an $$$ lunch. The food is pretty good but the portions are small. We also ordered chips and salsa and the salsa was a bit spicy so I guess we ate more chips than salsa. We asked the server if we could get more chips but she said we had to buy another order of chips and salsa to get them. Kind of ridiculous. It wasn't worth it because the salsa was not that good. We all drank our water right away and sat with empty glasses the entire time. On our first visit here, we had drinks and dinner. I ordered a skinny marg and it was like drinking straight lime juice! It was awful! I had the others taste it to make sure it wasn't just me and the consensus was it was not worth the heartburn it would cause! . I switched to the elderberry drink and it was really yummy. Fajitas for one was a good portion for one female. A guy may have been disappointed. Another person ordered enchiladas and they were very small and not hot. You could tell they were made in advance and meant to be reheated. Another entree was the carnitas and his feedback was 'they were ok'. I'm super happy we have a new place in the area and hope they will add some lunch menu items and take into consideration how small the portions are compared to the prices.
