Ralibertos is unassuming from the outside, but their food is tasty and they don't skimp on meat. We got the carne asada and california burrito. The carne asada comes with guacamole which is great, but doesn't come with much else. I added lettuce and it was a good amount extra money for lettuce which is a bummer, but the burrito started pretty cheap, so it was worth it. My biggest gripe is how they cook the meat. It wasn't grilled, which is a huge missed opportunity for carne asada - it misses a lot of that great flavor. The eat-in area isn't the most inviting, but the patio on a nice day is the place to be. We took our food to go and everything went smoothly. The staff who took our order was friendly and helpful. We'll be back again to try some of their other menu items! read more

I stopped by late. Tuesday night was raving some really nice Mexican Spanish food whatever. And I saw they had a chimichanga online which I've wanted one for quite a while now. So I drove over there from Applewood, hoping to get there before they closed which I did and I ordered my chimichanga with no sour cream which they got right and no onion because I'm allergic to onion... I was skeptical to try Raliberto's, but the food is surprisingly tasty! Their tamales have great flavor and texture, the carne asada quesadilla is good, and the cheese enchiladas are cooked perfectly. The meat in the quesadilla was slightly chewy, but had great flavor. Quick, easy and delicious. It tastes semi-authentic but it gets the job done. I appreciate the cute little location with some plants, but I wish they kept up with cleaning a bit more. We were looking forward to trying Ralibertos after a concert and got 2 cabeza tacos, 2 asada tacos and the supreme nachos. Both of the tacos were FLAVORLESS. It seemed like they boiled the meats and added no seasoning to either. We tried adding their salsa, but that was like adding lightly colored water- no flavor either and too watery. Mr Burto is a grumpy unfriendly man but his food is ok. It's not consistent, Especially the pork items. Sometimes is just pork other times it's fat and other parts. The shredded beef taco is always good and the rolled tacos. But you really can't mess those up. Anything they upcharge for is added but the tiniest amount. The beans are great and it often is just like true Mexican food we have in Mexico that we crave when we get back home. Only wish it was more consistent and be willing to compensate when you tell them they got your to go order wrong. read more

Good and fast Mexican food. I'm only giving a 4 star as it is a little pricey. I got the bean and cheese burrito, the breakfast chorizo burrito with eggs, potatoes, and cheese, and an al pastor taco. The tortillas here are homemade, soft, and delicious! You can't go wrong with a classic bean and cheese burrito, it was good! The chorizo breakfast burrito was my favorite! You should definitely try this! The only thing about this was that it was a little over $6. For the amount you pay you would think it should be a little bigger. The al pastor tacos were also very good! It was loaded with a ton of meat which I liked! You definitely have to come here and try their breakfast burritos! read more

Let me start off by saying, I love this spot. I have been going to Wheat Ridge and Arvada for years. Mistakes happen, humans are human. But, tonight my card was charged $616 for $16 worth of food!! You read that right! $600!!! I may have bills bounce as result. Like I said, people make mistakes. But, at least get the order right! The order was wrong, the sauces were missing. Not to be a full on Kyle, but if an establishment puts my finances in danger, at least offer a free taco! At the very least get the order right! I have read reviews in the past about employees adding tips to credit cards after the fact. I still went weekly. After this, I'm not sure. There are 1000s of Mexican restaurants in Denver metro. Ralibertos is a wheat Ridge gem. This independent Mexican restaurant is open 24/7/365. My boys both play hockey and we don't always have time to cook dinner before a game or practice, so we go through the drive through a lot. I laugh in the general direction of all the low star reviews for this place. I don't know why so many people are so easily butt hurt (not by the food (sic)) but because they got their feelings hurt? I ate inside. I don't want to run home and watch tv or eat in my vehicle or whatever it is that people that go through drive throughs do. The young woman behind the counter was as sweet as can be! And that was even after I left her a meager tip because I didn't have change. She offered me water because I didn't want to break a bigger bill just to get a pop. She also asked if I wanted her to wait until I ate before making my to go order. I went out to the truck and grabbed some parking money for more of a tip and my food was ready when I came back in. The food was good just like every other time I've been here. I went with a chimichanga because I hadn't had one in forever. It was great! I totally am a salsa bar person and although minimal it still lets you pick as much as you want and they have jalapeños with carrots too! Went here for the last time. The food is average but it's close to my house so I keep giving it a chance. BUT they NEVER get the order right and it's a drive-thru with nowhere to pull over a check your order and you would have to go back thru the drive-thru to fix it. Went to Rolbertos's in Arvada. We've been going there for over 24 years at the Denver location until they opened one in Arvada. I got two chicken taco combination number nine. The chicken was gross. That taco shells might as well. Been soup shells cause they were so soggy! And I specifically asked for two sauces each because there were two meals. They gave me one each I called and they hung up on me! I will never go there again and we averaged once a week. At least I'm gonna tell everybody I know that you guys are terrible now . First off, I'd like to state that I'm visiting from Charlotte, NC. My best friend and her family LOVES this restaurant. They come here very often. This is one of the places she wanted to take me to so I could try their food. I have only ordered ONE thing from this restaurant and I've had it 4 different times. I LOVE the breakfast burrito with Chorizo, Egg and Potato's. I omit the cheese because I'm not a fan. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the tortillas they use for their burritos.
