i ordered pepperoni ray's after homecoming. it was reasonably priced and omggg the pizza was delicious. we ordered two types of pizza and 5 wings. the pizza was very well cooked. it was seasoned well and had a nice crunch. the crust was perfect!! it wasn't thin nor was it overly breaded. the wings delicious just enough sauce and fried nicely. i have been thinking about the pizzas since i ate them. i cannot wait to go back to new orleans and sit down in the restaurant. read more

The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because they were very crowded and it's small so seating and parking is limited. I expected it to be even more crowded than it was given it's owned by a popular social media influencer and local grown shero. Outside of that, the vibe is great and the pizza was delicious. I created my own small pizza since many specialty items have pork and I'm allergic but there are plenty non pork add-ons such as veggies, chicken, crawfish, and beef. The flavor was in point. Ordered take out on Christmas Eve and unfortunately we did not love it. I had the gentilly pizza which is very popular but it was very oily, probably due to the pesto. My family shared the meat lovers which they complained the pizza was both overcooked and undersauced. I was excited to support and hoping they were busier that usual due to the holiday. We ordered hot lemon pepper wings, lemon pepper wings, bbq wings, garlic Parmesan fries, large pizza - pepperoni, bacon and green peppers. The wings were not good. SUPER BIG! The sauce is just poured on the wings, they are not tossed. The fries were were just McDonald's fries with cheese toppings. Nothing special. The drinks were just liquor and mix. I'm super sad about the food! I only went because I love Supa Cent. I wanted to support my girl. I waited to post this review because I needed to see how the pizza help up during a reheat the next day and boy was I satisfied. I enjoyed the hot sausage pizza (hot sausage, green peppers, red onions) which was highly recommended by a neighbor friend. Now don't be surprised at their pricing. This isn't dominos or pizza corporate chain where you can get a $10 or less pizza. I spent $27 including tip for the large pizza. However it lasted me 3 days (one dinner and two lunches). The service was great. They answered all my questions and made sure I had everything I needed before leaving. The inside is diner styled but there's plenty of booths if you want to eat inside. Next time I will try the wings which also come highly recommended. And I may throw some shredded lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, and a bit of Japanese Mayo atop my pizza and remix it into a hot sausage "poboy" pizza. read more

I have been wanting to try this place forever & I'm glad I did. I had an appointment in the area and placed an order through Uber eats. The food was ready when I got there. The owner was extremely friendly and gave me all of the condiments needed for my order. Since it was my first time i ordered a small pepperoni pizza with a side of hot wings. Today was my first time going after they transferred ownership. I was apprehensive as I historically LOVE them. I am happy to say not much has changed. I got a lg pepperoni pizza and crawfish bread. The pizza sauce was a little bit sweeter than previously but not too sweet. The crust was just right also. The crawfish bread was amazing and well seasoned also. I visited Pepperoni Ray's for the first time last night after I moved my daughter and her friend into UNO. After a long day of work, we were starving, and I found PR's on Yelp very close with great reviews, so gave it a try. I got a large cheese pizza with extra cheese carryout. It was ready in about 20 minutes, and I waited in the restaurant. It is a nice, chill place to be, with nice friendly staff. Now the pizza we all agreed was one of the best we ever tasted. You can tell the sauce and crust are homemade, the sauce has a delicious fresh flavor, and the crust is the perfect thickness and texture, kind of thin but not too thin. The cheese was so tasty, exactly the right amount. Yum, yum, yum. We were wishing we had ordered more, and will be returning soon! read more

The host put on some good vibes music while I waited. The pizza was fresh and crispy on the edges when it was ready. Went to check this place out after seeing about it on IG and it did not disappoint! Got a large pep with extra cheese. Some of the best pizza I've had since moving out of California. The homemade tomato sauce for base is the best I've had hands down, also had a side salad that was good, came with mozzarella cheese, cherry tomatoes, baby carrots and bacon but took carrots & bacon off, I don't eat all that in my salad but it was good. to black owned so that was good as well. Their pizza is delicious, like fresh ingredients, steaming hot, made to order and it tastes the good the next day too! Their employees are always very kind and the service is on point (quick, efficient). They have limited parking but also street parking and you can dine in too; they have a good amount of tables and a TV and their playlists are good. Pepperoni Rays When most people think of pizza, they think of big national chains that have been around for a while. So I thought it was pretty clever of @pepperonirays to open up his own pizza spot, and expand the menu to include wings , salad , fries , cheese and crawfish bread . The pizzas come in two sizes, personal and large. There are nine specialty pizzas, 14 toppings and four premium toppings. The pizza was really, really good. The crust was perfect, not too thick and not too thin. When you bite into it, there still was a crunch but not all at once. The pizza was flooded with toppings: pepperoni, sausage, beef, bacon and ham. It was very well balanced. Also, the cheese was full yet delicate. The pizza sauce was fresh with a bit of sweet and just a taste of oregano and basil. The wings were crispy and seasoned pretty good. The sauce did not cover each wing so I shook the wings up a little and it made all the difference. They weren't overly spicy but had a good level of heat. ‍ The restaurant needs a little fun added to the ambiance. The decorations had loud colors but were otherwise bland. Nothing screamed fun, industrial or even modern. It has a great space, but it is not appealing. The pizza quality is there with great flavor, but I was missing the fun pizza dine-in experience. Food The wings were off the chain. We ordered half sweet inferno and half honey mustard. The wings were well-seasoned and crispy and big and, of course, very tasty. We also ordered a half cheese, half pepperoni, ham, and Italian sausage. We really like the sauce and crust. The tomato sauce is on the sweet side. I could taste some herbs. The crust was chewy and had a nice bite. The meats had good flavor, but I think the sausage was my favorite. I have to give a shoutout to the fountain coke. I really like it when my coke is sweet and has less carbonation than a typical can coke. More like a bottle coke. Anyway, it was refreshing. Their hours are family friendly as they close at 9:00. They offer delivery via Waitr and Uber Eats. From two weeks ago: Last time we also ordered the crawfish bread. I don't really like crawfish (mainly got it for the family), but this was pretty good.
