Ordered thru Uber Eats some Easy Pizza for pickup. They are not in the best location - inside the back of a gas station, but the pizza and garlic bread we picked up here absolutely rocked. Our pizza was fresh and hot out of the oven with a nice thick crust and was made exactly as we ordered with chicken and spinach and more than satisfied us. The garlic bread was the way we liked it with enough garlic to kill a vampire with generous portions.

    Slices of meatlover!

I was surprised when i got my pizza so quick at night time! I order an XL meatlover and it was the best pizza i tasted in new orleans! They dont do dine in so you need to order through a delivery app or just call your order in for delivery like i always do!

Totally not a good place to get pizza for $47 for a 1 topping large pizza and a small cheese pizza with two waters and a soda the pizza was dry and had no flavor whatsoever most of the pizza came with Little cheese and mostly all bread was really disappointing not even good pesto sauce to really at least sell that pizza.... but it was not worth it see the attached picture.

There are now other (better) late night options. Pretty terrible pizza and somehow still extremely expensive. Plenty of other places are now open late night and I would suggest calling somewhere else. The pizzas are always rock hard with 85% bread and 15% frozen toppings.

If you are reading this, which of course I know you are, BE PREPARED FOR A LONG WAIT! If you read…read morethe whole review I'll give you the best tip on how to skip the line (insert shushing emoji) and don't cheat by skipping to the end! Hands down, the best po'boys in all of NOLA. Everything is made from scratch (except the bread, which they source locally), and you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My personal favorites are the Surf & Turf and the James Brown. The Surf & Turf gives you get the best of both worlds (shout out to Hannah Montana). Look it up kids. You get the slow-cooked roast beef with gravy plus fresh Gulf shrimp. Shut the front door! The James Brown is just as incredible: juicy BBQ beef, pepper jack cheese, fried shrimp, and a hot sauce mayo. Bring napkins - you'll need them. Pro tip: go with a group and order a few different po'boys to share. You'll want to try everything. You made it to the end, so here we go. I feel like gate keeping (look it up old-timers), but I'm going to be generous because I love y'all. In order to skip the line, go to the bar area and find a high top or seat at the bar. A seat always opens up quickly. It never fails. You can order from the bartender and the service is top notch. Cheers y'all!

Parkway Bakery & Tavern -- 4…read more Okay... let's start with the bread, because baby in New Orleans that's where it's won or lost. And THIS bread? Yeah... they did that. Soft, fresh, easy bite. Not that hard French bread that have you pulling and pulling like you in a workout and your jaw about to lock up. As a born and raised New Orleans girl, I'm real particular about my French bread because the bread will make or break your sandwich. I don't know if they bake it in-house or source it, but whatever they doing... keep doing it. Now before I even got the food, let me talk about ordering because that was a little journey. I ordered online and initially had some issues. I actually had to go through Google and search to even find the right website. It wasn't super easy to register or navigate at first, but once I got to the correct site, it was smooth sailing from there. I placed my order, got a time window, and they gave very clear, precise directions on what to do when I pulled up. Now pulling up, I did have to go around the corner to get into the drive-thru situation, but when I tell you... they have a SYSTEM. Very organized. Cars lined up, steady flow, and it looked like business was booming. There's artwork outside, multiple stations, and everything just felt like it ran with purpose. I walked up to the first booth, told the man my name, and he already knew my food was ready. Directed me to pull up to the red light where pickup was, no confusion, no chaos. They don't play. They stand on business and I respect that. Now the food... The shrimp were nicely fried, good size too. Not them little tiny ones where you gotta search through the sandwich just to find one. Every bite had shrimp, evenly distributed, and seasoned well. That's how it's supposed to be. The sauce was good too. It had that New Orleans style BBQ feel to it, kind of like a BBQ shrimp sauce. Messy in a good way. Now the roast beef... Flavor was there, but texture-wise it leaned a little dry for me. It wasn't juicy like I expected. It did say it comes with pepper jack, but I didn't really catch that flavor. Granted, I did add onions and mustard, so that could've played a part. Overall though, it's still worth trying again. Next time I'm probably going to order it as-is, no changes, just to really get the full experience the way they intended. But yeah... Parkway definitely earned a spin back.

It's the purrfect option for when you want to sit back, relax and enjoy yourself. Having a fur friend? Bring them along and everyone wins. There's a large space for dogs to run around, and get their pets on. Outside of the dog zone is seating for the bar which is perfectly stocked with alcoholic and none alcoholic options. As someone who is in her mocktail era I really enjoyed that they had none alcoholic spirits. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and truely made you feel like you were part of the gang. In 2025 it's hard to find a "third space" somewhere you can hangout for a while, talk with friends, make new friends, and really just enjoy yourself. That's what makes The Dog House so great, it's bringing back to third space vibes one drink at a time.

Well, this little mom and pop store beside the highway in Mid-city is about as authentic as it comes, but not for poboys, for Cuban food. I can say with confidence that they do the best Cuban sandwich in NOLA. And it costs less than $5. They are super fast. Expect to be in and out in 5 minutes every time. Sin falta. Fastest Cuban granny this side of the Florida straits! They also do a first rate hot lunch: beans and rice, yuca with mojo, roast pork, and flan. Ropa vieja. Anything Cuban, they'll do it. My wife is Cuban, and let me tell you that this place is the real deal...better than the real deal because the family who runs it came over just after the revolution and combines all they know about their country's pre-Castro cuisine with New Orleans knack for kick it up a notch flavor. But loyal to the wonderfulness of their culture, they don't ruin the original, which is even rarer. Instead they improve upon it, but with finesse. A hidden treasure in quality and value. Give them some business and feel good about it both for you and for them. In my opinion, they could easily charge more, but do not. I am addicted to these things now, so I hope they keep everything just the way it is. A lo maximo!
