I'm not gonna say the food was bad because it was pretty good... Soup super salty I've had a few bites and couldn't eat it and I like salt a lot! We were party of seven 45 minute wait no problem. We waited just patiently as we could. Finally, we get seated. I'm gonna say 30 to 35 minutes before we got even water The portions are small smaller than what you have come to expect from an Italian restaurant. Calamari appetizer was really good We also had the goat cheese balls, which I thought that was gonna be like a bunch of them it was too med meatball size. They were good though. Pizza was OK. The waitress was MIA I honestly couldn't tell if she was just that busy :? Not sure why it took almost an hour to get our soup and salads when they're premade all she had to do was scoop the soup. They need to have support staff filling water, glasses, clearing plates and getting the bread and salad, salads, soups, etc. Literally couldn't wait to get out of there 2 1/2 hours when we were there. Surprised to see " Wednesday pasta night dinner for 2 $54.99 plus bottle of house wine" where you can select from amy of their pasta dishes, each can choose salad or soup. We selected Gianna's lasagna and pasta Anne, both with salads and cabernet wine. They serve a unique bread with marinera sauce. The house cabernet was Josh brand. The lasagna was different, with a creamier red sauce. The pasta Anne had beef tenderloin tops, peas, mushrooms in a light peppercorn cream sauce. Noth were very good. Discovered Tuesday nights, 1/2 off small and large pizzas, dine in or carryout...we plan to check that out. Shout out to our amazing server, Ally. I drive by this establishment all the time, however, never ventured in. Finally decided to give it a try! Parking was good so that's a plus. Walked in, I was immediately greeted.. So, I was trying to see if it was a casual place, or a nice place for a date night..I will say I sat on the family side because there were a lot of small screaming unhappy children. The waitress came over several times to get our order.. I ordered the chicken piccata.. that was really tasty.. their salad dressing is good and I got a side of spaghetti.. meat sauce was bland. Overall, I enjoyed my meal.. my guest ordered a pasta dish, she said it was good. The bread and dipping sauce they give you was just ok.. but I am always happy to receive bread.. pricing not too expensive.. and they had a nice menu with plenty of things to order. We have been to Pepperoni's twice now. The first time we went on a Saturday night and had a wonderful experience. The second time we went on a Wednesday and took advantage of their pasta special. Both nights the food was amazing and the service was top notch. The bartender, Sarah, gives some of the best service around. She remembered our names first thing and always makes sure we are taken care of. This will be a regular spot for us from here out. read more

Took us almost 2 hours for dinner that we never got to finish. Very slow kitchen & service. Don't know if they were short staffed but we had to go to the bar to get our pop refills after asking 3 times, had to ask for water refills, & finally 2 of the 3 meals came & the 3rd (pizza) came when we were almost finished eating the 2 meals that came. We boxed it & left-our son ate it at home. Other patrons who came in long after us got their food same as us. Bad experience. Add to that that the restaurant adds 4% to your bill if you use a charge- this confirmed we won't be back. Too bad-food was not bad. read more

Tried carryout from them last night and was not impressed. Firstly, let me say I have eaten at the restaurant in the past and was happy with the dishes I ordered. This most recent carryout was less memorable. I ordered the seafood pasta which was lacking hearty portion of pasta and seafood was of the frozen variety degrading the quality and taste. Most disappointing of all was that they included no grated Parmesan for my dish. Grated Parmesan to me is the quintessential ingredient for any pasta dish. My brother ordered the penne with bolognese sauce. For those unfamiliar, bolognese is a meat sauce. Unfortunately, the sauce I received was a tomato and cream sauce. In short, this was not a pleasant experience for the price paid at $12-15 dollars per dish paid. There are much better carryout Italian restaurants in area I would recommend - DiNoto's & Salvatore Scallopine are a couple that come to mind. read more

We had 4 different pizzas, and antipasto salad and 2 liter sodas all very reasonably priced. We live down the street and had never been before. We heard good things from some neighbors and wanted to give it a shot. The atmosphere and service were good. The food was... bad. We ordered the $15 calamari appetizer. We were served 8 soggy fish sticks swimming in bland sauce. I'm not one to be so picky that I refuse to finish, but we couldn't finish it. Even our fish stick-loving toddler spit it out after the first bite. We were relieved that they brought us bread as a complimentary appetizer, then disappointed once we realized it was plain pizza crust with a side of bland pizza sauce to dip it in. When our BBQ chicken pizza arrived, on the same bread and with the same sauce, we were disappointed in the tastelessness. It had almost no BBQ sauce on it. I prefer the frozen California Pizza Kitchen version at Kroger. Overall, it's 2 star defrosted diner food with 4 star service, at $15 an appetizer and $18 a pizza. Just picked up a pizza from Pepperoni Grille. The immature staff working the evening shifts are doing this owner a disservice. Stood at counter for 10 minutes before anyone took my order - while several walked past me. While waiting and watching the food preparation was horrified to see food preparation being done WITHOUT gloves. The individual making our pizza was digging in his pockets and walking through the kitchen grabbing lettuce and various salad items with his bare hands. When I questioned Jess - who was answering phones - her reply was "He shouldn't be making salads". When we got our pizza and mozzarella sticks home they were disgusting. Pizza was greasy and over cooked and the mozzarella sticks were burned. OSHA needs to shut this place down - only after firing the teenagers working there. read more

Every thing I had for lunch was really good. The bread was fresh and reminded me of crazy bread. Marinara sauce was served with it. We ordered the Garlic Shrimp and it was 5 or 6 HUGE shrimp lightly breaded and fried covered in delicious butter garlic sauce. My lunch entree came with soup or salad and I chose the tomato basil. It was the best I've ever had. I ordered the chicken marsala and was quite pleased. A generous portion for lunch, I was pleasantly full. My companion had the calamari linguine and it looked good! This place is always a hit or miss. Today, I ordered carry out to pick up on my way home from work. The young woman answering the phone was lovely and very helpful. She waited to put my order in so it would be fresh when I arrived to pick it up. Unfortunately, when I got home and opened up my pasta, I was shocked to see the portion size. I have ordered pasta from here a handful of times and I always remember the portions to be generous. I was very disappointed; I'm not sure if this was an accident, but I have read a few reviews that also talk about small portions for what you're paying. I think it's really cool that they have a rewards program. Once I get the chance to dine in, I plan to join the rewards program myself.
