*3.5 but rounding to 4 stars* For a casino hotel, Peppermill is pretty clean and didn't have any bad odors. We booked a deluxe king room with the steam shower. We unfortunately got a room in a bad location. It was really close to the elevator and ice machines so there was constant noise throughout the night. The room is very spacious and had lots of bathroom counter space. The steam shower makes it feel like you have your own personal sauna room. Cool to experience. Lots of great amenities such as a spa, two pools and a decent fitness room. We're not big on gambling so it was nice that they had a "Game Lab" aka an arcade room. This hotel has plenty of parking. They have some EV chargers but it may be difficult to get one as it's very populated.

Got a room for the night so went to spa before check in. Great spot! Nice staff. Clean and fancy feeling compared to other Reno trips. Steakhouse dinner here tonight so may add that to this review.

    Moth guts

The lobby is clean the arcade is a blast but it's only two stars is because we were here for a wedding and multiple members of our party experience MOTHS in our rooms. And they wouldn't stop coming

On a last-minute trip to visit my dad in Reno, we booked the Peppermill Resort since that's where he was staying. We have two kids, so we were happy to see that the hotel is kid-friendly and even has an arcade and a heated pool, which was perfect for winter. Unfortunately, we traveled during a storm and the drive took about 14 hours. I was able to call the front desk ahead of time and request a room on the same floor as my dad. They made a note in our reservation, and when I received the mobile check-in text, I could see the request reflected there. Once I completed mobile check-in, it confirmed we were on the same floor. It still took another 10 hours before we finally arrived, but our room was ready and the final check-in process was smooth and easy. The room itself was very spacious for a family of four. We really appreciated that the double beds were queen-sized--after recently staying at a Marriott with full-size beds, this was way better. There was plenty of storage in the drawers and closet for all our snow gear, swimwear, and regular clothes for 4 people over two days. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. We were thankful to be on a non-smoking floor, which gave us a break from the smoke smell in the casino areas. I understand this is a casino and that indoor smoking is allowed in Nevada, so I won't complain about that. I called the front desk a few times during our stay, and every interaction was friendly and responsive. While I don't gamble, drink, or smoke--so this isn't really my scene--I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys some or all of those things.

Went here for a spa day to celebrate my besties birthday and WOW! I was blown away by the relaxing vibes, the complimentary snacks and drinks on every floor, the salt room, zero gravity room, the saunas, hot tubs, pools, and so much more. We got a service done and chose a facial and it was the all about me package and it was the best facial I've ever had. My skin is glowing and I feel so relaxed after spending the day there. They provide robes, lockers, sandals, soaps/scrubs for the shower too. This was a huge treat but I hope I can come back again for another special occasion.

I travel constantly, and this was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I am a Platinum member of Hotels.com, and I have never encountered anything like this. I booked a "One Bedroom" unit, with guaranteed check-in at 3:00 PM, but when I arrived, the room was not even ready by 5:00 PM. I had to wait another 30 minutes before I could finally enter. Upon entering, I realized it was a studio instead of the one-bedroom I had booked. The staff insisted this was the correct room and tried to justify it by saying they have connecting rooms, which is misleading and clearly not what was advertised. When I called Hotels.com to try to resolve the issue, the front desk staff brazenly lied, claiming that I was in the room I had booked -- which was absolutely false. I had to provide evidence to the Hotels.com manager proving that I was in a completely different room. I spent hours arguing at the front desk, and the situation was made far worse by extremely rude behavior from the manager on duty and security staff, who laughed at me and openly mocked me. I felt humiliated and even discriminated against, as they acted as if I could not speak English fluently, despite me and my children being fully fluent. This issue was honestly not a big problem -- I was ready to stay in the hotel for all six nights I had booked. If the managers had been even slightly smarter and treated their clients with basic human decency, the problem could have been resolved easily and peacefully. But they were not interested in solving the issue. They were interested in escalating the conflict and humiliating me as a guest and as a person. This is absolutely outrageous: they clearly do not care about families with children who are traveling and tired after a long trip. Security staff, who are supposed to protect hotel guests, instead humiliated us and applied pressure. These people completely forget that they are working for a living and earning the money that we pay them. To make matters worse, the room I booked for six nights at approximately $1,100 ended up charging more than $1,700 at check-in. They add $50 per night on top of the original price, plus an absurd security deposit of about $314. Can you imagine? Booking a room for $1,100 and ending up paying $600 more upon arrival. This is extremely strange and unacceptable. Only after several hours of conflict, and with pressure from Hotels.com due to the misleading listing and false information about the room, the hotel finally agreed to refund my booking. Of course, there was no compensation for the several hours lost or the stress and frustration caused. Absolutely terrible. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and has a nice pool, but the service is completely unacceptable. Staff are rude, unprofessional, and the experience is stressful. Even basic amenities, like toiletries, are minimal for a family of three, and everything feels overpriced and impersonal. I do not recommend staying at this hotel. Despite its appearance, it left me with nothing but negative emotions.

Stayed here for a volleyball tournament. Great location, probably 5ish min drive to the convention center. They offer free shuttle from the airport every 30 mins starting at like 4a until I think 11p. We didn't use the shuttle but our friends did Monday 5a and it wasn't full. They have an outdoor pool - one big pool, a smaller one and a jacuzzi. It was very windy but the pool was still open and heated. The smaller pool warmer than the bigger one. The gym was really nice, had treadmills, a starlit climber, weight racks, bigger dumbbells for my husband. A sauna and maybe a steam room? There's a water refill station inside the gym. I think it opens at 4a-11p as well: they also have room temp and cold water bottles th dry fine out for free. Gym towels and I think even head sets. U need a keycard to enter. Parking, there is not valet. They said it stopped during Covid. Parking is free, that's a plus. There's a parking lot and 2 story parking garage. We never had an issue finding parking. They have a lot of dining options including 24/7 room service and dining. There's also an arcade. The kids had fun playing there. The walls were a little thin but there was only one incident that we could hear our neighbors. They offer to bring u free water bottles to your room but we never had to use it. There's an ice vending machine near the elevators. The elevators were fast and never too busy for us going to and from the vball games. I think they have bell service but my husband was able to get a cart, so we could bring up the luggage's ourselves. Tahoe is about an hour drive away. We had a two bedroom queen. Had a mini fridge, a safe. Lots of outlets. Someone had to fix out a/c and they did it in a timely manner. Before check in, I asked if they had toiletries dispensers like shampoo, conditioner, body wash in the bathroom and they said yes but it was actually mini bottles. So I had to request extra. Also a friend wanted to warm up their food and they brought them a microwave to use in their room.

Feeding my Christmas decorations addiction and Peppermill is coming in close to it's competition. Beautiful Christmas trees. I do love the energy at peppermill. Especially watching sports and having a light adult beverage.

Our room in the Tuscany Tower was awesome!! We felt we were living the life of luxury!!! The leather couch in the sitting room, the vanity and the huge jetted tub in the bathroom with a tv, and the king sized bed! There were plenty of outlets, tables, seating, etc. We enjoyed a few meals at our stay. Our favorite is Romanzas. We invited friends to join us, we chatted quite awhile before we were greeted and our order taken. Each couple ordered the Caesar salad to be split and our individual entrees. We once again waited quite awhile and our entrees arrived, no salad. Our waiter didn't hear us say we still wanted our salads but said he would get us dessert. We didn't see him again until we had finished our entrees and his assistant provided us with boxes. He came back eventually and asked for our dessert choices. I was pretty disappointed with the service, it wasn't busy so I really have no idea where our server was during our meal. The food was delicious as always we were a little embarrassed in front of our friends because we spoke so highly of the food and service. We enjoyed our staycation. It's nice to have a place so close that makes you feel like you are on a vacation far from home!

8/7/25 FYI. Peppermill, Hot August Nights! Booths
    Lee D.

Quality/Quantity - Overall good. We came here today for Hot August Nights. Their parking garage was under construction, but still plenty of spaces, even with Hot August Night going on. Still easy in and out. Atmosphere - What is up with all your large screen TVs? To create FAKE selfies...? See picture. 1623 rooms, 785 suites, 10 restaurants, and a convention space all within the hotel. Notable restaurants are: Bimini Steakhouse, Biscotti's, Biscott's Cafe, Cafe Espresso, Cafe Milano, Casino Bar, Chi, Fireside lounge, High Limit Slot Lounge, Island Buffet (currently closed), Lobby Lounge, Oceano (2016 remodel), Romanza, Sole Poolside, Sports Bar and Deli, The Pub, The Terrace, and White Orchid Private Dining. Tuscany themed. Heated outdoor pool and cabanas. A fairly large gym. You can also get married in the Pisa Room. Spa & salon. Free use of computers for flight information or to print boarding passes. So many bright video slot machines. Add this with the big screen TVs and I am starting to get dizzy... Poker room. Etc. Service - Good. Mostly self service. Well today my waitress was amazing, the beers kept coming and I even left winning $7, LOL. I gave my winnings away as a tip. Price - Normal for a resort casino. Casino resort prices. Owner Suggestion - Congrats on your success since 1971.

My first stay at the Peppermill was a really pleasant experience. I actually got upgraded because the room I originally booked wasn't available -- total Jerry Seinfeld moment (if you know, you know). The room itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The king bed was great, and the pillows had just the right amount of support. But the real highlight was the bathroom -- especially the steam shower, which was amazing after a long day. Overall, I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're in Reno. Great rooms, nice amenities, and a solid experience all around.

Came to this resort to visit family who live locally. We saw that it had been touted as a great hotel, so we wanted to try out the place. The staff here -- all of them-- are amazing. They are friendly and helpful and get the job done. It's refreshing to come to a resort where the employees look like they actually like their job. The room in the Tuscany tower, which is being renovated, was beautiful. Even though they are still working on it, we had a quiet room and barely noticed the construction workers. One thing I would change is the bed and linens as they were a little less comfortable than other nice hotels. The resort restaurants are excellent as well! We will definitely stay here in the future!!

Absolutely rude staff, specifically this guy. Completely RUDE

Been waiting in line to check into our hotel room at 12:40 AM. Only one person working the counter, estimated wait from my standpoint to the front is over one hour to just check in. absolutely no service, rude employees, nobody wanting to help and nobody talking to each other. Complete chaos.

Yes, there are both Tesla and Chargepoint EV chargers in the main lot in the front.

Yes 20% as of 10-2022. $100 in free play to sign up

    Do u have covered parking?

We have five floors of covered parking.

Does Cafe Milano still have the late night dining special? I believit was any breakfast item for such and such price. Cant recall exactly.

We do not offer a Late Night Specials Menu at Café Milano.

So... happy hour at Terrace Lounge, another casualty of Covid or will you be bringing it back?

    Closest wedding chapel to Peppermill?

I think Grand Sierra Resort has one which is few minutes away. You can call and ask to verify.

This place is so cool and not cool at the same time…read more.. Here's the bad stuff... 1. Super construction going on and the parking lots are a mess, you don't know to go right or left and I got lost finding entrances even after 3 days.really dirty too. 2. The dirt doesn't stop there. Our first room we were given was so smokey I mean burning eyes smokey. There was a box fan sitting outside the room so I think they tried to air it out but it was like someone burned a cigar in there and just closed the door. 3. After going thru a room swap we were given another room. Fine but there was a dirty rag left in the bathroom counter with hairs all over it. Not a huge deal but still, come on right? 4. The late check out. Went to the front desk night before to make sure late check out was ok since we were at an event that morning. No problem they said you got until 4 with an additional fee. Great right? Nope since our room was a room that was attached to a suite they needed us out before that. Just come on again! 5. The service is just rude everywhere. I mean everyone you encounter! The Rim restaurant guy host in a suit..., I'm convinced was high as a kite. Don't believe me, go there and talk to him, holy! The security desk, rude and unhelpful. Anyone you call on the phone from the room, rude. I'm not expecting Disney customer service, but come on man! Someone teach these guys some customer service skills. So the good.... The resort is really cool. Bowling video games, nice casino, everything to spend a fun weekend. We may even come back just to do the pool and stuff to do there. To wrap it up... Lower your expectations. Your not going to get the cleanest room. Most certainly you will be treated rudely. It's a place that could be so epic but falls short due to just taking short cuts in the customer service, organization and just plain care about your whole experience factor. P.S. you will receive at least 5 text messages telling you about how great their spa is.

Here's an update…read more Grand Sierra Resort - Frustrating Stay Despite Being a Loyal Guest / 5 I have been coming to the Grand Sierra Resort annually for years -- once for my grandson's basketball tournament at the convention center, and again each July for a golf tournament. I consider myself a loyal, returning guest, which made this past weekend's experience all the more disappointing. When I checked in, the receptionist was genuinely kind and helpful -- a real bright spot. She offered me a room upgrade for $45 more per night and assured me she could place me on the same floor as my son, just down the hallway. I was excited. However, she then said she needed her manager's approval. The manager came over, barely acknowledged me, and flatly said no -- apparently reserving those rooms for other purposes. The receptionist apologized, but the damage was done. For a guest who returns here every year, that interaction felt dismissive and discouraging. The receptionist herself was wonderful, but the manager's handling of the situation left me feeling like my loyalty meant nothing. Later that evening around 8:30 PM, we headed back up to our room on the seventh floor and discovered that only one of the three elevators was operational. What followed was a 20-minute wait just to get on an elevator, packed in with other frustrated guests -- on a Saturday night, no less. Beyond the inconvenience, I couldn't help but think about what could happen in an emergency with two elevators out of service. That is a serious safety concern that management needs to address immediately. Outside of these issues, the rest of the stay was business as usual and accommodating. But given my history with this property, I expect better -- and loyal guests deserve better. I hope the Grand Sierra takes this feedback seriously before my next visit.

I can't speak to the rooms on the lower price range, but what I got, was absolutely amazing…read more I was here on Cinco de Mayo, but because it was a Tuesday, the rates were very reasonable. I have "status", so I was offered an upgrade to a spa suite, for a very reasonable price. The price range, of course depends on what day of the week it is, as well if there are any events going on, but even at full price, that spa suite is well worth the splurge. I was checked in by Claudia, and she was very friendly and helpful. My room was in the tower that is connected to the main casino. I was on the fifth floor. The view during the daytime wasn't much, but at night time and sunrise, it was very pretty. I walked into the room, and I couldn't believe it! I had actually gotten a two room suite it was a beautiful suite. The living room had 2 very comfortable couches. One of them had a hide-a- bed in it, or you could just sleep across the couch. it had a mini bar that had a Keurig on it, there were two TVs, with a good picture and lots of channels, as well as the movies for rent, one in the living room and one in the bedroom, and there were also two bathrooms. The bathroom attached to the living room does not have a tub or shower. There was also a huge closet. There was a fridge, but no microwave. The bed was a bit firm for my personal taste, but I still got an OK nights sleep. I do realize that everybody's taste is different. I had to laugh when I saw the Jacuzzi tub. It was heart shaped. That tells me that this "spa suite" doubles as the honeymoon/romantic getaway suite. The Jacuzzi tub was amazing! It filled up quick, and it was so absolutely relaxing. My body was just melting away. I sat in that thing for almost a half hour, and when I got out, I went to sleep very quick. My only regret, is that I didn't have a special someone to share it with. (for those of you who have met me, I apologize for putting that image into your brain. Please, I beg of you, let it go... LET IT GO...... :) Circus Circus is a nice property, like the El Dorado and Silver Legacy, it is a Caesars property. The casino is nice, they have a midway with lots of fun games for the kids, and also live circus acts. There is plenty to do. You can walk between all three properties without ever going outside, and there is plenty of gaming, bars with different themes, and lots of restaurants throughout all three properties ...The food court is just OK. I didn't care for the habit burger place, but I thought that the pizza place was amazing. (see separate reviews.) Just a great stay. Thanks!

After our stay, my overall opinion on the casino really didn't change…read more As far as actually navigating the casino, it didn't improve from my initial experience. The elevators are still tucked away and very hidden and every single pair of escalators we found had one side broken so you had to just wander around until you found an elevator or a working escalator. There were also random 1 way escalators scattered about which was off The actual elevators in the main lobby were a nightmare. No matter if there were a lot of people or nobody, they would take forever to come down (and I believe one was broken). There was a time in particular there were 20-30 people all waiting around for the elevator. I asked an employee where the stairs were (since I was on the second floor). It took two employees to even figure out if there were stairs, and then I had to wait around for security (who never came) in order to go up them. The room, while decently clean and modern, was missing hand soap, and the AC rattled extremely loud when the compressor would turn on. I finally figured out I could jam a pillow in between the bed and AC to keep it quiet. Throughout the stay, the front desk people were very unhelpful, either not knowing anything, or just saying "yeah I can't help, go ask the bell hop". The only saving grace was the midway, which while expensive, was a nice little break for people like us with little kids.

Enjoyed my stay at Spa 87 Suite in Eldorado Skyline and Spa rooms. The room was extremely roomie…read more Great for a big family, or luxury couple getaway. A little awkward for non-couples staying at the suite; only because the beautiful bath tub is displayed next to the window with no cover from the room, and sauna/shower is separated by glass; and completely visible to anyone in the room. To get privacy, need to close the entire large room to shower or bathe. Otherwise; it's a beautiful place; a bit "outdated" but still luxurious. Amenities include, bathrobe, slippers, hairdryer, shower cap, facial soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, tissue, toilet paper (haha; a must!), ice maker, water, fridge, bottle opener, a variety of drinks and snacks in the fridge for a $$$ price, coffee maker with coffee pods. The curtains in the bedroom/ bathtub area has a switch that closes the curtains; it's a nice luxurious touch; too bad the switch is across the room...the bathtub fills quickly and they have a "shower gel" there that can be turned into bubbles as you fill the bath. The temperature of the room was comfortable. Clean and well maintained, apart from some bits of less than luxurious touch up paint jobs here and there. The view is lovely in the daytime and night. I can see the snowy Nevada mountains from the bath in the day. And it's pretty neon lights and watching the cars dance through the lot looking for parking at night. The entire hotel is connected to restaurants and the casino. The even center is just about a two block walk away. I had a lovely time here. Just don't like the casinos and smoking. But it didn't affect my stay in the suite. I can't understand why this hotel doesn't have any reviews or has terrible reviews. My guess would be, the majority of the guests here are here to patron the casinos, and would not pay attention to the stay of this hotel.
