We were in myrtle for a bachelor party and playing tourist walking around Broadway at the Beach. The groom said we all had to go into pepper palace to try the Nasal Napalm... I love spicy but that did not sound appetizing. Alas, it was at the grooms request so the five of us obliged. There's a little fridge right up front that houses the napalm and when we came in we mentioned that we wanted to sample it. The woman working was so excited that she got us all set up and took pictures for us too. As for the Nasal Napalm, I wouldn't recommend putting it on anything you plan on eating. Some might like it but it's like if horseradish was mixed with ether and then you put it in the fridge and use it to prank your friends. If you love it, more power to you, but it made us all wince in pain (see pics). As for the rest of the place, they've hot hundreds if not thousands of hot sauces to choose from so check it out if you like it hot. read more

Ok so the sauce at the pepper palace is great. The average review I'm leaving is because a blatant disregard for what I wanted in hopes to upsell other products. On a typical day, you can walk in and try every and any sauce or salsa you like. When I stopped in, about an hour before closing they had already put away all of the sample sauces. That was completely fine with me sense I already knew what I wanted. I was looking for a some habanero tabasco sauce. I ask they lady if she had any and was informed that they do not carry third party sauces anymore, again not a problem. Here is where things got weird. The sales lady asked me what kind of sauce I wanted and I told her habanero. Then continued with how I love the flavor of habaneros. She then returned with a jalapeño sauce. Maybe she misheard me. I tired it anyway and told her I want something hotter and with habanero. She then returns with a cayenne sauce with pepper corn, zero habanero and milder than the last. I then simply asked if she had a habanero sauce. She responds has and brings out a sauce that was a pepper blend with jalapeño cayenne and finally being the least ingredient habanero. I gave it a go... dud. The sauce was all vinegar and no spice. At that point I just told her I'm good and left. I'll be back to pepper place but just probably not that location. read more

Only I among my close friends would travel to South Carolina secretly hoping to find a place where the rare Carolina Reaper peppers can be found, and here they are! Hidden among the tourists and info booths, behind "visitor" shops that are really a front for time share companies, at "Broadway at the Beach". As I walked in, I knew right away - I had found all that is spicy, all that is good, and all that will surely melt a face right off. YAY! I scoured the shelves - Blair, Dave, Da Bomb, 357, Fire of this, Death Sauce that, and there it was! A tiny bottle of Carolina Reaper powder. The last one! (No surprise there.) The nice lady at the counter was very pleasant and gave me many samples of a wide variety of things I've never tried, the layout of the store is bright and easy to browse, and the prices are clearly marked. While every other type of sauce with heat is fine and good, now that I've tried just a dash of the Carolina Reaper powder in my chili - there's no turning back... Flame On! We visit this place at least once when we visit Myrtle Beach. We wanted to go here a second time for some of their dip mixes, but never got a chance to go back. We will be sure to stop there next time we are in town. The service is excellent and the selection is crazy!! I really like that you can try almost every sauce/salsa that they carry. All there...for your enjoyment and tasting. 20 minutes into the experience my mouth was living a dream and I felt the slight burning on my lips was a way of it thanking me for giving it some spark in its life. At this moment my eyes were tearing with joy and surely the residual burn of the ghost peppers in the hottest sauce I just tried. At this moment a 20-24 year old man walks in and briskly grabs the second to hottest sauce. He's been here before. Great staff, friendly and knowledgeable. One complaint was the Wall of Flame was about a YEAR behind in having photos added. That's one of the things I went for. I am a top-notch chile head and love the hot stuff. The Flashbang hot sauce and the Death by Salsa were definitely what I was looking for. No Ghost Pepper flakes, though. There's no such thing as too hot in our house! My son saw the sign and of course we had to go inside. The variety was HUGE! I've never seen a store with so many different options. There was a big variety of things to sample. We sampled dry spice blends, hot sauces, BBQ sauces, mustards, salsas. Everything was delicious. The store was clean and organized. We purchased some items which I can't wait to eat. Lona was absolutely awesome! What a great employee! She made us feel welcome and we totally enjoyed our time there. Normally I would give this place 4-5 stars when we visit Myrtle Beach. This time it is getting two stars because at 7:50, an hour and 10 minutes before closing the staff member had already put away all samples for the night. And he wasn't interested in providing any samples when asked if they still offer samples. Very disappointed as this is one place we always stop at during our vacation. read more

I don't think I tried anything I didn't like! I'm not a huge fan of the extremely hot sauces, but they still had good tastes. Loves the cayenne and garlic mustard. The pumpkin butter and the sweet potato/pecan butter was great too. Will certainly be ordering more when I run out! read more

I went there this past weekend with my family, I have been trying to come into the place for a while but there was always a reason why I did not make it. I went in not knowing of what to expect but was over whelmed with what I saw. yes I tried everything and even had to go for the Wall of flame, thought it was funny bout signing a waver but know I know why. Once I signed I knew that there was no way I was going to back out.
