    Omelette and toast

Hubby and I were looking for a quick and easy breakfast after a late morning and wanted to stay close to the villa we were staying at so we stopped in around 11 am. We were very surprised that the place was absolutely empty. It was decorated beautifully, and they have a large patio that would have been perfect if it was warmer. You review the menu and order at the counter. The menu listed many healthy choices and I was thrilled to find out they had almond milk for my coffee!! I ordered the omelette and hubby had the pancakes and eggs and bacon. The toast that came with my omelette was made out of my favorite grain bread, and hubby's pancakes were made with a different delicious grain flour that he really loved. While we were there some very nice local ladies came in and told of some road closures in the area, helping us feel welcomed. Staff here were also very helpful. This place is definitely not inexpensive - we spent almost $40 for what was supposed to be a quick breakfast.

We were looking for a healthy late lunch option and my friend found this place. It's a small place but lots of outdoor seating. The menu had plenty of healthy from grain bowls, wraps, smoothies and more. I loved that things were local, non-gmo, organic and wild-caught plus the cheese was from Wisconsin! (My home state) Both my friend and I got the BBBQ chicken sandwich. It was good and the sauce was light and not very berry tasting. My son liked the chicken and my friend's fruit. Since he can't eat the hard veggies, I had them and the ranch was tasty. It was a good meal and nice sitting outside but this isn't the place to stop if you're in a rush. I didn't see highchairs.

Amazing food, service, and ambiance. The staff were welcoming and friendly when we came in. They were very helpful with the menu. The atmosphere was wonderful, we sat outside, it was very peaceful and they had some nice music in the background. The food was astounding, we came here because I am vegan and they had so many options for vegans as well as non vegans. It was also easy for my 9 year old to find something good to eat. Smoothie was the cherry on top, so delicious and so many options to add into the smoothies. Will be a return customer!

Breakfast Burrito and of course some hot sauce!

Have been here several times whenever I am up around 82nd Street. The menu has changed a little bit but pretty much the same great food and service we've come to expect over the years. I am also amazed at how it's never very busy. Yes, $9 for a breakfast burrito is a lot. But we are talking quality with more than enough to fill you with a Healthy breakfast. I am so glad after all these years Kindbelly still continues to provide very healthy alternatives to many area restaurants. The service is always great and friendly and the outside patio area is a wonderful spot to unwind and have a healthy and relaxing meal.

Friendly service. Nice atmosphere. Acai bowl was good but I've had better in Myrtle Beach. Great restaurant if you are vegetarian (which I am no).

We ordered several things during our stay at Myrtle Beach. Because this place is within walking distance, and the walk was mostly shaded (they do have a great parking lot with big trees to keep your car cool), we enjoyed several meals. Be sure to visit this place as a many times a possible! No matter what you order, you will love it! Most Sincerely, Dayla

Great find near our condo. Have been wanting to come for awhile and were not disappointed. Service was really good and very friendly. Pictures below, as you can see they had great presentation. The eggs were exactly how I asked for them ( I always tell the servers that I am high maintenance) and everything was delicious!

Two of us went there it ended up being $26 for 2 large smoothies. smoothies were very small and honestly didn't have the best taste either. The inside had a nice little seating & an additional little seating. They took up to 15-20 minutes to make them other than that everybody was very nice working and super friendly and sweet.

[Coronavirus review] I saw the option to order online and get curbside carryout, but the thing is I wasn't sure whether I wanted to take it. Was this a place to eat in? Was there parking? Was there somewhere safe to wait? Turns out this place is in a weird little niche next to a real estate office with some kind of shaded parking and a deck where you can eat outside, so I was glad I didn't curbside it and leave. The lentil burger was a bit of an adventure, a tad too big and messy for its smallish bun but pretty substantive and while it had a bit of something fake meat-ish to it that I didn't like, it balanced nicely with the avocado and garnishes. I added a set of chips and black bean hummus that I didn't really need but which were solid, along with a lemonade that tasted slightly stevia-ish, which may be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your perspective. From mine corona calories are a real concern so I'll take less sugar if it's offered. The place also had smoothies and a mid afternoon happy hour for them. It was an excellent find and walkable to the beach.

I was coming into town to just visit for the day and wanted a quick breakfast. What a delight to walk into a place that is so cute and expands into outdoor seating. The food came out hot and the people were super sweet.

Do you have chia pudding to go in your Acai bowls? Or sunflower butter? I found these were wonderful additions to the Acai bowls when I had them in CA.

We don’t currently have either of those options. We have tried both at times and have struggled to sell it but maybe we can try again! Thank you for the suggestion :)

It consisted of 2 deep fried soft shell crabs, 3 deep fried jumbo (and yes, they were actually jumbo) shrimp on top of a bed of various deep fried vegetables. Although the entire dish was deep-fried, it didn't feel heavy or greasy. And the batter chef Bo made mad it all sooooo flavorful! I ordered the granddaddy's grilled cheese. It was a very different take on grilled cheese, but also absolutely delightful!! I believe you can't go wrong with bacon and fig jam on sourdough bread. And for my side, I wanted something a little different so I ordered the sweet potato grits. Do yourself a favor and try them! They are rich and creamy and sweet but not too sweet... Perfect! As delicious as all that was, the showstopper was dessert. We had the lemon blueberry cake. There are not enough words to say how delicious this was! Dense, sweet, but also tar from the fresh lemon with fresh blueberries baked in with a perfect layer of cream cheese icing. I wanted to order another one just to take home. And if the food wasn't enough to keep us coming back. Our service was absolutely amazing. Rachel was our server and she was a rockstar!!! She knew the menu very well! She made amazing recommendations and was attentive and friendly and all-around wonderful! As an added bonus, we were seated in the perfect corner booth for date night. And they had one of their regular live music performers there which added just the right touch. We can't wait to go back!

Jan. 2026 My wife…read moreand I hadn't been back to 44 & King in a few years. With so many good restaurants in the area, we usually try new places, but before heading home we decided it was time to stop in again for dinner. As usual, we try to go during happy hour when prices are a bit better, and we sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly she greeted us right away, handed us menus, and took our drink order. The menu had changed a bit since our last visit. My wife ordered a Coke, and I had an Old Fashioned. For food, my wife chose the Fried Crab Claws with fries, and I ordered the French Onion Soup along with the Pork Nachos from the happy hour menu. While we were waiting, the bartender asked where we were from. We told her Southern Maryland, and when I said Huntingtown, she immediately said, "That's where I'm from." That alone surprised us not many people even know where Huntingtown is. When we mentioned the road we live on, she said, "That's the road I turn on to my parents' house." This was the first time we've ever met a bartender or server over 400 miles from home who lived that close to us. Small world. Our food came out and my wife really enjoyed her crab claws -- I tried one and they were very good. My French onion soup had a nice, deep beef flavor and was very tasty, but after a few bites there was a heavy pepper bite that came through. It was still good, but I had to switch over and eat some of my nachos, which were also good, though different from how I remembered them. I think the BBQ sauce changed the flavor, and the lettuce (which I usually prefer without) was something I should have asked to leave off. I asked my wife to try the soup and mentioned the pepper and that it might be a little spicy. She agreed it was good but said it would be better if it wasn't so peppery. A little later, the chef came out and introduced himself, Bo. He asked how everything was going. I told him everything was good overall but mentioned the heavy pepper bite in the onion soup and asked if that was normal. He said it shouldn't be that strong and that it needed to be toned back. Bo then asked if we had ever tried Mama's Soup, the tomato vegetable soup on the menu. We hadn't, and he asked if we'd like to try it. Not long after, he brought us another bowl and said, "This is Mama's soup give it a try." It was a vegetable soup with hamburger and a tomato base, and it was so good. When he came back, he explained it was his own version of his mother's soup. We told him it would go perfectly with a gooey grilled cheese, and he laughed and said they actually have one on the menu. It was really nice of Chef Bo to come out, check on us, listened and know something wasn't quite right, and it's being taken care of. That kind of interaction truly makes dining out a better experience. It makes the place feel welcoming, like they genuinely want you there. Yes, we will return -- and we were told that Mama's soup is always on the menu.
