This little place has potential. It's apparently part of a chain, but as far as I know this is the first franchise in Glasgow. They seem to have started in London.
The menu centers around chicken - whole chicken, wings, tenders, sandwiches and wraps. It's a fast food place so you can get individual items or make at a combo with fries and a drink.
I tried the chicken tenders (mild) and fries with a side of garlic sauce. I got takeaway and the fries were sad and soggy by the time I made the 10-minute trip. The chicken was decent, though the foil lined bag it came in wasn't ideal for serving. Mild was mild as advertised, but a nice flavour. I might try medium next time.
They don't label gluten free and their fryers are used for everything, so this place is no good for coeliacs. However, the chicken is grilled so it should be okay, and they do have rice and salads which should be fine. It always makes me nervous when places don't label, though, and fast food in particular. Proceed with caution if cross contamination is an issue for you.
As for vegetarians, they do actually have a couple choices, with paneer featuring heavily. My resident vegetarian wasn't with me today so I can't tell you if it's any good - but options do exist! read more
