I've been anticipating visiting People's Coffee since it first opened in Pittsboro. The location has an inviting vibe that makes it great to meet a friend or even for remote work. The decor is full of character with a mixture technology and wall designs. I ordered the caramel latte after receiving a recommendation from one of the baristas. I have to say that both of the baristas seemed happy and were very friendly. I enjoyed speaking to both of them during my first visit. The caramel latte was creamy, smooth and full of flavor. The latte had just the right amount of sweetness. Add this to your list of places to visit in Pittsboro, NC.

Really good 16 ounce iced vanilla latte

Good, good good! 16 ounce iced vanilla latte. We went through the drive-through at 1:45 on Wednesday, July 30. The young lady at the drive-through window was exceptionally kind, friendly, and patient. She was a little shocked when we said we were paying with cash so I believe they mostly like for you to pay by card. But that was not a problem. We will definitely be back. This place was clean and easy to get in and out with our coffee order.

Avocado Toast

The Avocado toast is hands down the best thing I've ever had. My goodness it was delicious. It is a little pricey in my opinion but I do understand that avocados are expensive these days. Highly recommend it!

A truly horrible place. Avoid at all costs. Cold unfriendly staff, limited space and over price food and beverage.

Food: 4.5 Location: 5…read moreInside/seating :5 Service: 5 Overall value: 4 My spouse and I came here for lunch as we were in the area, and it was recommended. I had the BLTA sandwich with french fries and Dijonaise on the side and my spouse had the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito with home fries. We also each got different sodas from the cooler area. The total for two lunch entrées and two canned sodas was about $40. I feel like this is pretty high relatively speaking for a sandwich and fries, and a breakfast burrito and home fries + two canned sodas, which is why I gave the overall value a four. However, the breakfast burrito, home fries, and regular fries were AMAZING. Probably one of the best breakfast burritos I have had in a really long time, and the home fries were crispy and well seasoned. The sandwich I had was pretty good, but nothing super special, and definitely not worth $16. I didn't particularly care for the Dijonnais, but that's just personal preference and glad I had it on the side. The restaurant itself has ample parking and is easy to find. It has a lot of seating, as well as lounge type seating for the breakfast/café crew and people who might be coming to do a little bit of work. You order at the front and they give you a number and bring the food out to your table. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and kind. The restaurant itself was clean. Overall, I would probably give this somewhere between a four and a five, but I do really love to support Local and I could tell this place probably makes a banging coffee drink and had delicious looking desserts, so I went with a 5. Unfortunately, we live between 35 and 40 minutes away, so we likely won't return, but if we find ourselves in that area of Chapel Hill, I would consider stopping in for another breakfast burrito!

Came for an anniversary dinner and went with the chef's tasting menu. The menu is seasonal, so I'm not going to go into any particular dish, but I will say that each dish was well balanced with both flavors and textures, in the traditional French style. This is not a French restaurant, but the French influence is clear. They have a number of different menu options for different tastes, and pocketbooks. They make accommodations for dietary restrictions, as well. Don't forget to walk around the garden when you visit, because that's part of the experience.

From the warm greeting to the thoughtful service from our hostess, Jennifer, and sommeliers Julianne Thompson and Kailin Solomons, every detail made us feel welcome. Connie was presented with a menu wishing her a happy birthday--a lovely personal touch. We chose the four-course prix fixe menu with classic wine pairings. With three options for each course, the sommeliers selected wines to complement the dishes we chose, and the pairings made the meal even more special. The cuisine was wonderful, and the service tied the entire evening together. The restaurant's Michelin recognition--and the inn's Michelin Key--make this a remarkable destination, but it's the whole experience that made it our new favorite restaurant. We're already looking forward to returning.
