This place is great, which is why I'm giving it four stars. However, I thought it was interesting that it had all these 5 star reviews on TripAdvisor as the "best pasta in Rome", but there were only 6 guests when I arrived. To cut to the chase, they ask all their guests to leave them a good review at the end of the meal.
But, the food was very good! They have an extensive, but basic, cocktail list. I got their Japanese tea, which was interesting, it looked intimidating.Everything is well priced, and the restaurant is very casual. I got a pasta with speck, pesto, tomato, and buratta. I also enjoyed a side of delicious roasted zucchini. It was all delicious! It definitely was not the most amazing thing I've ever eaten, but I'd go back.
But, this place was my favorite dining experience in Rome, and one I will never forget. When I first arrived, there was a women performing live music. Then, all of sudden, she invites one of the guests to sing with her. The next thing I know, the guest is performing her second song, an Italian ballad, with her amazing voice. BUT THEN, my waiter goes up and starts singing karaoke for at least three songs! Everything from Italian classics to "7 years" by Lukas Graham. His voice was amazing! I was eating my pasta with a giant smile on my face because I couldn't believe what I was witnessing. So, if you're in the area and you hear music coming from the restaurant, DEFINITELY stop in. You won't regret it. read more
