Hashbrowns burnt and turned into potato chips.
CJ B.

We are in from out of town. Came from Tampa to be with family getting married in the area. I rate this as two stars because of the quality of customer service and the food quality. My family of 3 came in(for the second time) to this place for a quick breakfast from our air BnB. We watched 2 tables get served before us walking in. In particular, another family who sat at the breakfast bar had 3 meals come out before ours. We waited about an hour for our plates. We had to find the waitress and ask her to get us drinks vs being greeted upon walk-in. Now, this is our second time in here, this rural area doesn't have other options. We had a classic breakfast, a pick3 and a country breakfast. The place had about 3 tables of people, so it was not busy. Scrambled eggs and pancakes shouldn't take that long. The country steak was served without gravy. Came out as a side 10minutes after our plates were there. The hashbrowns were basically burnt on all 3 plates and looked/felt/crunch like lays potato chips. In conclusion, this place was cute, menus written on walls (innovative cost saving measure) and had potential. Moderate prices. I can't help but feel like we were treated differently here. I'm not going to allude to any rationale other than rural, small town, America nuances for out-of towners. That was the vibe. Wasn't very welcome. From walking in to paying was just cumbersome. The server clearly just did not care to provide customer services- she even walked by without looking at us when we tried to pay for the register. Objectively experience modeling complete.

Okay food, nothing no to rave about though. The table was sticky so I wasn't impressed from the start. The staff were friendly.

The silver liner. The old fashioned diner, with the same food. This is a 24 hour diner, standard menu, good breakfast.

Great service, waitress was friendly even though the place was busy and she was the only waitress. Food was good, place was clean.

Not bad for a small town diner & only 2 employees. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was pretty good too.

Came here for the first time with my wife and son. We ordered:…read moreBacon Cheeseburger w/ Garlic Fries- flavorful and good, but our least favorite of these 3 burgers. Garlic Burger w/ Garlic Fries- if you're a garlic fan, this was packed with a pretty strong garlicky taste. Superman w/ Garlic Fries- large and flavorful. Not too spicy from the jalapeños, but the veggies and bun balances it out. Banana Pudding- probably the best that I've ever had and I've eaten a lot. We got a combo with all garlic fries and a refillable fountain drinks. The burgers were made fresh and so juicy. The garlic fries were ridiculously delicious. The drinks were Texas made and they delicious. I loved the strawberry cream soda or the orange cream soda. Lots of different burgers and desserts to choose from. Overall, decently priced for the portions and the quality of the food. These burgers were probably the best fresh juicy burgers that we've had so far in town. We will definitely be back to try the other choices. Staff are very friendly. It was pretty busy so they gave me a heads up about waiting approximately 40mins which was ok for us cause we had time on our side. I was just happy and appreciative that they communicated that vs me just waiting forever thinking that they forgot about me. The restaurant is self order and pickup. As small as it looks on the inside, there's quite a bit tables to include a mini snack shop. There are additional tables outside too. It can get a little congested near the cashiers area. The parking lot is small and can be hard to find parking, but we scored a spot right in front. Some parked on the grass along the main road, just be careful.

The burgers are huge and great. We ordered a Bacon Burger combo and a Cheese Burger combo. The…read moreinside has limited seating and was too chilly by the split ac unit so we opted for the outdoor picnic tables. Very minimum wait time from placing our order to number being called. Service was top notch! I could spend hours reading the writing on the walls and the signs inside and out. Aside from burgers they offer homemade desserts. We drove from Lake Somerville so it's worth the drive from anywhere!
