Lots of seating and a nice water sprinkler situation to cool off from the heat. My partner has a nut allergy and the people preparing our food were very accommodating to his allergy and made sure to prepare his sandwich away from any nuts. I'm vegan so I was able to order the J.P. Sandwich without any spicy mayo. The tofu was softer than I was expecting but honestly it wasn't too bad given it had a nice flavor (and I love eating plain uncooked tofu). The sandwiches were packed with our select protein which really made it worth the money ($24 for the two). Would definitely recommend!

Gooseberry's Vietnamese & Thai Review…read more When compared to Chinese fast food at the MIT food court and what it gets you for $4.5, Gooseberry's blows it away! It's not gourmet, but the Bun Ga Nuong (shredded chicken thighs with a hint of lemongrass over a bed of cool vermicelli noodles, lettuce, and topped with the saucy sauce) was a Vietnamese treat boasting a flavor that was tangy and satisfying. The sauce was very .... wet, but I was able to eat while standing up and waiting for my co-workers who had to wait a PAINFUL 25 minutes for their soy-based saitan (sedan, satan, whatever....) from Clover.

I was really impressed with the number of hors d'oeuvres on offer, as well as the variety! We noshed on mini hamburgers, chicken on biscuits, baby cubans, some cheesy thing (I thought it was a quiche but my roommate said it was a quesadilla), and some kind of rice ball with dipping sauce. And the desserts! Whoa. Chocolate covered cheesecake on a stick, anyone? How about chocolate mousse cups? Chocolate chip cookies? Yes, please. I'm pretty sure they also brought the bartender, who served up some stiff drinks. These guys were professional, efficient, and made some seriously tasty food. Word.

Cuisine Chez Vous catered my wedding on 6/5/10 and the experience was just fabulous!…read more Walter, Michelle, Fiona, and gang were all amazing! From our initial meeting to the final event, everything was perfect! The food was amazing and not at all like some of the wedding fare I've had in the past. The food during our tasting was delicious and it was replicated exactly on our big day for about 200 guests. Definitely what a starving bride ordered :) Between the mini burgers Stilton jam, Parmesan crusted artichokes, prosciutto wrapped mozzarella, Carolina BBQ on a cornmeal cracker and ALL of our wonderful entrees (including a Gorgonzola stuffed chicken that was out of this world) I was definitely testing the limits of the strength of my corset! Walter was great to deal with throughout the process and I can't begin to describe how impressed I was at how Michelle and Walter paid attention to every detail I described for the big day. I had spent nearly 16 months preparing every detail and to leave it in someone else's hands for my wedding day was a difficult task. The reception hall, tables, candy bar etc. looked exactly like how I envisioned and I couldn't have been happier. They did an absolutely fantastic job. They also did a great job in dealing with a couple of wedding related hiccups, including our earlier than expected arrival to the wedding reception and the thunderstorms during our outdoor cocktail hour. The transition and how they dealt with everything was smooth and professional. EVERYTHING was taken care of. Fiona did a great job with the cake design and from going off just a few internet pictures of what I desired she hit the spot! The cake flavors were delicious and the design beautiful. In terms of cost, I met with 3 other caterers in the Boston and metro-west area and all were very similar in pricing, rental costs, etc. There wasn't anything that seemed out of line and they were very willing to work with me on the budget and food items were requested. Of course no good caterer is cheap and Chez Vous was a hit to the pocketbook, but it was expected and a very worthwhile expense. All in all just a fabulous experience with great, friendly, professional employees, fantastic food, an eye for detail, and genuine care towards your event. The day couldn't have turned out better

Some food trucks are a step above, and Chicken & Rice Guys truck is one of them. It is everything I…read morecould want from a food truck and more! First, the service is lightning fast. It takes less than a minute to go from ordering your food to having the container in hand. Lunch breaks are precious, especially if it's 45 minutes long. Less time spent waiting is more time spent enjoying the blissful break from work. This is to say nothing of inclement weather! Then there is the food itself! I ordered a large chicken on rice with adds-ons of crisp onions and tomato+cuke. The chicken was tender and nicely seasoned, plus there was more than an ample amount. I always root for a place that isn't stingy with meat! The rice was forgettable, but considering this isn't an expensive sushi restaurant where every grain gets a mani-pedi before being sacrificed to humans. As a starch/carb element, the yellow rice was A-OK for the dish. The crisp onions were something I could have done without. Nothing against them; they felt unnecessary for me (not necessarily for you). Meanwhile, the tomato+cuke added some welcome freshness to the dish! Next time I will try to get half-rice, half-salad as my base... if not possible, I will get the tomato+cuke again, even though it isn't free. While ordinarily, I would pillory a place for charging $2.10 for a bit of veggie, though I appreciate this is what stops people from ordering rice and then getting five kilos of diced veggies on top of that! This is good and fine and would be a 4-star review. I would dust my hands off and get on with my day... but then there are the sauces. And let me tell you... sauces and I go together like milk and cookies! When my Uni had chicken nugget night, some would get a mountain of nuggies. Me? Five or six nuggies and every sauce/condiment the university had on tap! But I digress... the sauces added flavor, tied everything together, added additional moisture, and even played nice with one another! Did I mention sauces are self-service? The mint-cilantro-jalapeno was refreshing, flavorful, and had just a little kick! If you like a little heat, this might be great for you but proceed with caution (protecting myself from your lawyers!) The medium/"hot" actually brought some heat! And this is coming from someone for whom Tabasco tastes like salty vinegar! I dare not try the extra hot... I have high heat tolerance, but not that high! The flavor was okay, not mind-blowing, but combined with the creamy garlic, it was heaven! The creaminess took the edge away from the heat and added a whole new dynamic in texture. Plus, my Slavic heart loves garlic! Finally, the BBQ: I found this sauce unremarkable, similar to the BBQ sauce I have in my own fridge. However, I also realize that only some people like heat (or garlic), and I believe food is for everyone. Will absolutely be ordering from this truck again and again as long as it is nearby!
