This training is well worth the money. We did a 3 day classic and volume training class. The 1st day we received a cute bag with the supplies and education needed for our theory class. I know theory sounds boring, but not with Morgan! She brought great snacks and brought little goodies to keep us entertained and involved through-out learning all about health and safety involved with lashes. Day two was a blast! We received our cute kits with all the supplies needed to do lashes at the spa. We practiced on mannequins and learned all kinds of fanning techniques for volume. Morgan and her assistant were so patient, accommodating, and personalized the training to each individual in the class. Day 3, we worked on live models after a short demo. It can be frustrating and intimidating working on people for the 1st time, but Morgan and her assistant were so encouraging and knowledgeable it really helped us to improve throughout the process. 2/5 of my girls were ready to take clients the very next day! My favorite part is that the training didn't end there. She has reached out to see how our additional practice is going and to see if there is anything she can do to assist. I know skincare and hair/makeup artists seem expensive, and you may go back and forth on whether it's worth the price or not... but you get what you pay for and I'll tell you that it's worth it! Your confidence and how you feel the day of will show through in photos. I knew I wanted to feel confident and beautiful and I wanted someone that I could trust to help with that. Michele was on our vendor list and when I saw that she specialized in both hair and makeup AND esthetics, I immediately picked up the phone. Having done many weddings before mine, she did tell me that I'd probably want to have some fake lashes just so they'd show up in my professional photos. The process leading up to our appointment, she was very responsive, attentive, and respectful to any questions I had. I was still getting ready with my mom and she was able to wait a bit for us to get settled in and set up her stuff. It was my first time seeing her and her first time working with my hair and face. Due to budget restrictions, I was not able to do a trial run with her. She asked me what make up and hair style I liked and she was able to execute what I wanted within 2 hrs of time. She also did my mom's make up and finished everything on time. She was super duper kind to both me and my mom. Made good conversation with us while doing our make up and my hair. When I was done, she showed me how I looked and I was so shocked to how beautiful I looked. My parents, brother, and guests all said I looked very natural and beautiful. TRIAL - I used my engagement photoshoot in March 2025 as my…read moretrial for my wedding day hair and makeup - for the trial you go in person to the Auburn studio location which is a little house perched on the hill converted to a studio WEDDING DAY - initially had 4 people (myself included) for hair and makeup for my wedding day, which would have had me have 2 hair and makeup artists; however, my SILs decided to do my MIL's hair and makeup, so it then became 1 hair and makeup artist, Zoe COMMUNICATIONS - I had interviewed and emailed multiple hair and makeup artists/companies and moved forward with All Dolled Up due to location, pricing, portfolio, and because they were the only ones I spoke to that had airbrush - I liked how all communications were through the main portal/email - very professional; loved that there were email check point reminders and instructions as it got closer to both the trial and wedding day HAIR & MAKEUP ARTIST - Zoe was my hair and makeup artist for my engagement photoshoot as well as for my wedding day - during the trial we jelled; Zoe was very warm, welcoming, bubbly, and such a hype woman! - I will say that I got a bit nervous because we went over time (if I recall correctly) for the trial by approximately 15-20 minutes; so I knew (and was instructed by my photographer) to give a hard stop for the wedding day because hair and makeup can notoriously go over your time - advice given to me by all recent brides was to give a buffer for yourself so that if/when hair and makeup goes over your hard stop, you'll still be OK and not rushing in the end - trial hair and makeup was great! - MOB and MOH on wedding day loved their hair and makeup by Zoe! - for my wedding day, I would have still liked if the front of my hair had more volume, but it was what it was; Zoe also underlined me for my lips, but an easy fix I was able to rectify; never be afraid to speak up too! once I saw the finished hair and makeup I was dissatisfied initially with the way my hair was parted, but Zoe had no issues redoing my part - another thing too that was commented on by the MOH was that it was interested that no touch up kits or samples are provided

Full review: As a bride who doesn't typically wear makeup or do anything with her hair, the idea of finding someone to do hair and makeup and then having it be hundreds of dollars was difficult for me. I've heard (and seen) how some wedding makeup could easily go wrong, so I knew I was looking for two things: I wanted someone who was familiar with a variety of skin tones and who specializes in more of a natural look. Affordability was also a must as I knew I wanted to pay for at least makeup for all my bridal party. At first glance, the pricing seemed a little high, which I understood since she comes with a lot of experience. I spent a lot of time reviewing and deliberating if I could afford/wanted to spend that much on hair and makeup. Christi and I then discussed what I really wanted done, who else needed hair/makeup done, and how I could work within her packages + add ons price structure to have the services I wanted while staying within my budget. Christi was very easy to talk to and we were able to work it out. She even offered to do complimentary touch ups on my mom (who insisted on doing her own makeup) to help elevate her look, to which my mom accepted. The Trial is a must. I'm sure everyone tells you this, but do the trial. The trial went well, but it was definitely needed. It gave me an opportunity to talk to Christi about what I wanted and what I liked/disliked. It also gave her an opportunity to see what did and didn't work with my hair. Not going to lie, the trial makeup was beautiful but not perfect. You could see a little bit of darkness under my eyes (mostly from wiped away makeup) and she used a lip color I had brought but didn't love. I talked to Christi about this and she reassured me that neither would be an issue on wedding day. Just in case, I made sure to bring a couple different lip options for the wedding, but she had her own and it looked great. She also gave me a little lip present to keep and use throughout the day. I was also worried about my hair holding since it typically doesn't, but both the makeup and hair lasted all night! One more thing to add that was a really great about Christi, she stayed until after the ceremony. A lot of hair and makeup artists leave right after you're done getting ready in the morning. She didn't. She met us at the hotel and did the bulk of it there, and then she traveled to our venue to do finishing touches after we were all in our dresses. THEN she did additional touch ups after our ceremony and helped me replace my veil with a bow. Overall, that helped so much with the nerves and everything. Oh, and everything was right on schedule! I also couldn't find a single updo that I liked - and then Christi flipped my hair into a high bun during our trial and I LOVED it! Totally redefined my wedding look! She did my best friend's makeup, who doesn't normally wear makeup, and made her look timeless, classic, stunning and exactly herself just elevated. She knows her stuff!!!! Trust her!!!! And she gave me fantastic product recommendations, was totally available by text before the wedding to communicate and ask questions.
