Love this salon! Riley, (It's spelled different but her business card is in my car and I don't want to go out there LOL) Riley, did an AMAZING job on my boyfriend and I's hair. I called around to maybe 10 different salons in the Roseville/Rocklin area trying to get a walk-in for a men's haircut. NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE had availability. I don't know if they just didn't want to cut a guys hair or what (LOL) but when I called this salon, they had an open availability for as soon as I called. We drove over to the salon, and were greeted by this sweetheart, where she took my boyfriend to his chair, and gave him an AMAZING cut. He honestly had no idea what he wanted for his hair, he ended up letting her decide what to do. She did a great consultation, asking many different questions, and ended up giving him a haircut he loves, and that is SAYING SOMETHING, because he usually gets upset when he cuts his hair, as he doesn't like the end result. I was so impressed by his cut, I asked Riley if she had any time that day to cut my hair as well. She booked me for the time slot after she was done with the appointment after my boyfriend's cut. I didn't need much, just a little bit of shaping up after about a month of growth. (I got a modern mullet) Not only does she know what she's doing behind the chair, she has a personality that makes getting your haircut by her even more worthwhile. We had great conversation, and lots of laughs! Can't say enough good things about this girl, she was definitely giving off cool older sister vibes to my boyfriend and I. LOL Anyways, my sister was pretty impressed by the both of us when she saw us, asked where we got our hair done, and wanted to schedule an appointment with the salon. I called in for her and scheduled an appointment for May 16th, she's wanting a shag. Her stylist is going to be (I think?) Anna. If not anna, it's the c*nty slay blue haired queen who was doing hair across from us when we got ours done. I'm excited to see my little sisters hair when we go in! If Anna is anything like Riley, you know that style is going to eat. Also, just wanted to mention, my boyfriends hair is very floofy, when we left the salon on our way back to his house, it ended up drying a bit, and he wanted it thinned out a little since it was looking just a little too fluffy on the top, she was able to thin out his hair on the top quite a bit, and it made the style just that much better. TLDR; Great experience here, if you want a stylist who's gonna take care of you and give you a bomb haircut, and make you laugh while she does it. Ask for Riley. I was really excited to get my hair done after a whole year due to the pandemic. I arrived and texted the salon and was asked to fill out an online form saying I have no COVID symptoms and I was wearing a mask. The salon was beautiful and had about 7 stations for cutting hair. I asked for a copper balayage and was disappointed with the result overall. When I left the salon I was still skeptical, but once I got home and washed it I could see the colors were not mixing well. I was more red on top and blonder towards the end, there is also big streaks that don't blend well I had a previously balayage and the stylist said the color didn't seep in well over the previous balayage. She ended up trying to tone it twice, but it still didn't really turn out. I booked the most expensive option online because I'm aware my hair is thick and long and takes a long time. On their website they say they don't book by the time frame but by what is needed for each client. Well my stylist had someone right after me, so she didn't have time to finish my hair and had the assistant finish. I was hoping for more than $200, I should be happy with my hair, but I catch myself trying to hide the parts of my hair that have that giant orange/red streak. On the plus side, I did get a really good haircut, so I would recommend this salon for that. read more

6/26/2020: WELP~Rut-ro . . . What did I do now? Okay . . . SO~I'm constantly wearing a face mask and nitrile gloves when I'm out completing my day's errands. Everyone knows #COVID19PANDEMIC is NOW a fact of life where it's imperative every Human Being must wear a face mask: IF HUMAN BEINGS REFUSE wearing a face mask, this BLASTED #COVID19PANDEMIC WILL NAGGINGLY PERSIST UNTIL 2023 OR WORSE, an entire DECADE which unfortunately WILL BE the case IF, PEEPS REFUSE WEARING FACE MASKS, right? RIGHT! Which now alludes to the sordid fact, I had to make a gross accommodation wearing a face mask by chopping, buzzing my hair! FYI: I had NO CHOICE but, chopping off my long hair~ 1. Sadly, it's been too hot where I live. 2. When gardening, I always had to put my long hair on top of my head like a bread bun which surely is a hassle putting up daily. 3. Worst of all, I couldn't manage caring for or even THINK of dying my long hair; my hair was becoming a rat's nest!!!! This is definitely THE #COVID19PANDEMIC haircut for 2020, indeed~LOL! Anyway, the Axsyon face mask I bought from Amazon is truly awesome BUT, the face mask's Velcro strap persistently kept ripping the nape of my hair via the back of my neck which was so utterly painful and egregiously annoying! Okay~ So . . . What did I do? Enough is enough! I was fed up caring for my long locks . . . R.I.P. MA LONG HAIR~buh-bye: I visited a cool, hair salon in Roseville CA yesterday and instructed, hairstylist, Abby buzzing the nape of the back of my head so, I will not be uncomfortable while wearing a mask! Welp~TA-DAH, DAHLING: Abby buzzed the hair from the nape and now, wearing a face mask is so wonderfully comfortable! Really, I'm not a glutton for punishment; lopping off my long hair will eventually grow long again . . . Wedding trial. I have no words for the quality of the service requested. I thought a wedding day trial would be a sneak peak on how my hair would look for my wedding day. Instead I left looking as I would for basketball practice. I'm shocked that the stylist let me leave after only spending 20 minutes with me on getting my "wedding day" hair done, and on top of it charged $55 dollars. I've always gone to different places when I get my balayage. This time I went with Yelp to see which salons have great reviews. I'm glad I found Vault Salon because the results I got were fantastic. A plus is that I don't have to go too far to get my hair done. Second, the hairstylist, Shireen got it right with what I requested. I have black hair and I didn't want anything too extreme but wanted more auburn highlights for fall. She was very nice, professional, and listened to what I wanted. The salon itself was decked out for Halloween. Everyone was really friendly. One tricky part though is that if you want hair service that requires several hours, you will need to book it weeks or a month or so in advance. Mine was worth the wait. NOTE: This review is about hair and makeup for a wedding. I haven't worked with Vault for regular hair-styling needs but I'm sure they are equally as wonderful for that as well. I hired Rosie, the owner of Vault Salon, to do the hair and makeup for myself and 6 others for my wedding last month. She came with an assistant who did all of the curling, while Rosie did all the styling and makeup. The pair did a FANTASTIC JOB! I could not be happier with how everything turned out. The makeup and hair were just beautiful. My makeup looked amazing, I felt very glam, but not at all cakey or overdone. Even our mothers, who never wear makeup, thought their makeup looked natural and beautiful. Rosie was also able to get my hair to hold a curl for the entire day and night which I was so happy about. My hair is pin straight and every time it's been done (by myself or even professionally), it loses all curl within a matter of minutes. I am so impressed by her talent with both hair and makeup. Rosie and her assistant were also an absolute pleasure to work with. They are so friendly, personable and flexible. Everyone was engaged in conversation throughout the entire getting ready process, which was a great way to de-stress and start your wedding day. Rosie is also incredibly responsive to email and very forward with everything, which was a breath of fresh air compared to other vendors we worked with. On top of their stunning work, the two work so incredibly fast. We were able to get through all 7 of us in under 4 hours (and we took a break for lunch!). It was just amazing how quickly they are able to do everything. And don't mistake their swiftness for sloppy or bad work, Rosie is truly skilled and everyone looked amazing. I am so happy with how everything turned out. Not only is her work beautiful, but Rosie is an amazing person and so easy to work with. Got in 15 mins later and after walking through the door, once she had a moment, a nice stylist welcomed me in and offered me a drink with ice, which I accepted :). 5 mins after getting my drink, my stylist, Caitlin, was ready to see me and did an amazing job trimming my split ends and touching up my bangs!
