I was referred to Amplified, specifically referred to Maddy, by a friend after I complemented her beautiful hair. I was reluctant to have another new stylist work with my very copper/red toned hair because of past experiences. I've been to high dollar/top rated salons and stylists who specialized in color and color correction. I've left those same salons/stylists crying with deep disappointment over their work and the state of my hair when they were "done". When I went to see Maddy, we had a consultation where she sat and talked with me about my past experiences. Without ego, she explained how we could lift my hair color, minimize damage, and still accomplish the blonde tone I was looking for. I took the risk and let me tell you, I am so grateful I did. She nailed the color with my first appointment, and I have never been happier with my hair. I've been back for root touch ups, and overhauls of my color. Maddy always suggests the best options for my hair health, keeps me informed of what's new with color options, and keeps my hair budget in mind. I've really learned to fully trust her; she's definitely my hair hero. The entire Salon is so cute, and they use great hair products. They even offer you an adult beverage if you choose to sip on one while you're at your appointment. I've had wonderful experiences here. read more

Taylor was AMAZING! She made me feel so comfortable in her chair, even though I hadn't been to a professional for color in almost a year! My color is absolutely beautiful, no more of those brassy tones I came in with! I am so thankful she was able to work me in last minute and make me feel sassy and sexy before my vacation. Can't say enough good things about this experience. Thank you Taylor! read more

Booked an appointment over Yelp. Response time was fast and easy. Was matched with someone that met my expectations. She answered all My questions and was super friendly. The place was so clean. It was a bit hard to find as it is on the back end of the strip, but tons of close parking. One down fall was there was no one there to greet you. I sat for a few minutes before being asked any questions (even though I had been glanced at by at least one hair dresser that was on the floor). Will return for sure. Reasonable pricing and quality work!! read more

I am new to the Rocklin area and realized that after I got the kids back to school, my own self needed to get refreshed. After having a partial foil every 10 weeks or so for the last 12 years with the same stylist, I was worried about finishing someone I liked. Thankfully, Maria at Amplified as able to fit me in right away due to a cancellation and I headed over. The salon is very clean and friendly. She is very experienced and I felt calm with her confidence. She did a partial foil and toner on my hair with lovely smelling products. I should have asked for a price range first, but that is on me. This ran about $90 more than I am used to paying, but again, that was a different stylist in Redding. This cost me $185 before tip. My hair feels amazing and I don't feel like a zombie mom anymore! read more

I hadn't had my hair cut in a very long time after a few bad experiences of leaving a salon with really short bangs or the stylist taking off what "they felt you needed" instead of what you wanted....it happens. My hair was down to my butt and getting in my way. I found Amplified on Yelp and took a chance scheduling with Beatrice. She's been doing hair since the 80's. She communicated in a way that I knew I could trust her immediately to cut my hair within my reasonable parameters and I left loving LOVING my experience and my hair. She taught me several things about hair today and she uses great products too! I found my new stylist and am super excited just to know I have someone I can call and don't need to worry about a terrible end result anymore. read more

Omg. It was last minute place. We call and they had opening. My daughter wanted curtain bang. She end up with China bang instead. And the back of the hair was suppose to be even and it wasn't even even. I blamed myself. I didn't check. Make sure you check before you leave. Pay $60 for uneven hair cut and China bang which she didn't want. I guess she will just have to grow it out. read more

Awesome products + awesome people. I got my hair done by Kaley Wilcox and I am SO HAPPY!!! SHE FINALLY GOT ME DARK! I have been bleaching my hair for 8 year straight. (Like-borderline platinum) I recently moved from Boise, Idaho and am so happy I found Kaley!! My last hairstylist in Idaho tried to get me back to my natural color- twice- but she couldn't do it. I met with Kaley (who is so fun btw) and we talked it out and made a plan. She got me EXACTLY the color I was looking for in one apportionment and I LOVE it. She totally rocks! My hair is also super soft and finally doesn't feel fried! (I attached the before and after because it looks sooo much better!) read more

Best salon in the area! I just discovered Amplified salon and I'm so happy I did! I needed a color done last minute and Cassie was able to fit me in. I wish I could give it a negative review. I had made an appointment and when I drove 30 minutes and got there, I was told that my appointment was cancelled. I had never cancelled my appointment and no one ever notified me that my appointment was cancelled. Just plain horrible. Will never come back here to such inconsiderate place. In response to comment from owner. I did not receive a notice of cancellation. Had a great haircut with Beatrice! I chose Amplified because they sell my favorite products (Davines) and also had a decent amount of availability when looking a little less than a week out. Beatrice took her time with my hair and helping me figure out what cut I wanted. Haircut looks great and was reasonably priced for the quality of service and cut. Will definitely be getting my future cuts here. read more

Please do not come if you have curly hair :( Just would like to preface that I have came here to get my haircut 3 times within the last 10 months and 2/3 times have enjoyed the service and outcome and have even gone so far as to recommend salon to people in the area, but this most recent time I was extremely disappointed. a thing to note is i have relativity bouncy 3a curls (meaning they dry much shorter than when wet) and was hoping for a shoulder length rounded curly cut. I don't think that this salon has much knowledge in curly hair as shrinkage was not taken into account. My hair was cut and blown out and when blown out my hair was mid neck length and could not reach my shoulder let alone even go up into a ponytail. once my hair was wet at home I was left with the unpleasant surprise of having a chin length bob and micro bangs once my natural texture came out. Extremely disappointing considering I wanted shoulder length and my stylist even acknowledged that curly hair should could be cut longer to account for the shrinkage as well as the fact that I left the salon with 6 less inches of hair than I came in with. Sad to say that I will not be coming back... read more

Ok when I say I was having a hard time finding a hairstylist that was patient with me and understood when I couldn't make it and really took the time to listen to what I asked for. I would drive 2 hours to get my hair done by my cousin. Then I was blessed with Autumn , she is so sweet, and a very good lister and gives you what you ask for. Of course I said I found the one lol then I got to know her and found out she was opening a salon. Of course I was going to support the business . I followed her !!! You know your an amazing stylist when you have people following you. Well fast forward, I messed up my schedule and I couldn't make it to my appointment and she was leaving out of town the next day. So she recommenced Tristen. I was definitely going to take her recommendation. OMG when I tell you I loved the outcome of my hair, I mean I absolutely loved it. Amplified Hair Co is my new go-to salon! The salon itself is beautiful, with ample space (for those weary of COVID), clean, & easy to get to. I followed my stylist, Autumn, from another salon and have had only positive experiences! Not only is she highly skilled and talented with coloring hair, she also is amazing at cut/styles. In the past, I've found it difficult finding someone who is great at both! Autumn is THAT girl! My daughter and I are now loyal clients to AHC, and I am excited to try other services such as Hair Botox and eyelash extensions. Their pricing is more than fair for the quality treatments and stellar customer service provided. I will continue recommending friends and family to Amplified Hair Co! read more
