If there was a zero, I would have selected that. I knew I had selected the wrong company when they were running late yet received zero communication from ANYONE within the company. I ended up rescheduling because they had already wasted over 2.5 hours of my time waiting for their arrival.
When the technician arrived, he was prompt in getting set up quickly; however, his lack of knowledge made the company look unprofessional. If a company sends out an employee, one would assume the technician is well versed on carpet cleaning standards/protocols. Not at Penn Way.
Before the tech started steam cleaning, I asked him 2 very important questions. 1: How hot does the temperature reach? 2. Do you clean the equipment between houses? And 3: If you come from cleaning a home that had fleas ticks or bedbugs, is it possible to transfer them into my house? Sooo, not sure on temp, no on cleaning in between houses, and didn't think so on the bugs.
I was told it would take 4-6 hours to dry; hell, it was TWO DAYS. And furthermore, this small one technician company has zero concerns about IN FACT, SPREADING BED BUGS IN MY NEW HOME. Even after speaking with Marcus, the owner, it was clear he's not a strong businessman and he cared less THAT HE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF A 100% DISABLED FEMALE VETERAN. He refused to clean up the mess his tech created: FLEAS AND TICKS ON DAY TWO AS CARPET IS STILL DRYING.
I've also filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Burea. CONSUMER BEWARE: the prices are cheap bc you get cheap quality of work and additional issues. THE OWNER REFUSED TO MAKE THE SITUATION RIGHT-AFTER BRINGING FLEAS AND TICKS into my home. My experience was a nightmare! read more
