very terrible the last three times me and my family choose to eat here the order was wrong. It takes over an hour for the order to be completed and then it's wrong on top of the long wait. this last time we called to complain since we found hair on our youngest sons cookie and try to see if there would be any sort of compensation but the manager Amanda was very rude and basically told us there was nothing she would do. I went into Penn Station today for a quick lunch. The food was good but what was really impressive was the treatment from the staff while I was there. The woman taking my order was so welcoming and kind and both cooks preparing sandwiches were just as nice and accommodating. We visited here today because they have indoor dining available. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was decent, however, they go a little overboard on the sandwich condiments. First the music was so loud inside I don't think they could even hear what anyone ordered. The staff kept saying what when you talked to them. Second I ordered a chicken cordon blue with no Mayo. The guy repeated the order and asked no tomatoes? I said no Mayo again. Then when I get the order it's a Reuben which I can't stand sauerkraut! So maybe turn down the music so you can hear your customers. Loved the music playing but not at rock concert level! Won't be back! read more

Not a good experience. My food had hair in it and had to be remade. They took forever so my husband waited til mine was done so we could eat together. There was an all tern crew of which no one wore gloves or hair nets and they all acted very unprofessional in front of customers. It will definitely be a while before I come back. read more

If your white, don't go to this Penn Station. I white lady was in line waiting to give her order when I walked in. There were 2 black ladies at the pay register. After ten minutes the 2 black ladies were still at the pay register and the lady and I were still waiting to give our order when a black man came in. The manager said hi as he did to me when I walked in. The black man said all he wanted was a large drink. Once the register girl was done she came over and the manager told her to take the black man's order. The black man said he could wait. That didn't matter. Been to our local PS dozens of times and it's never disappointed me. Food is high quality products all the way down the line, especially love the turkey club with mayo and provolone, top notch. Not too crazy about the fries but never been a huge fry guy anyway. But they have chips as an alternative which works great for me. The price is quite high but I prefer to pay for quality so I am happy to pay it. And the crew has always been courteous and even a bit entertaining on occasion. The only thing that ever bugs me is it can get a bit crowded pretty quickly but hey that's what happens when your popular, probably my favorite restaurant in the area because of the commitment to quality food which is always the bottom line isn't it? read more

I am a HUGE fan of Penn Station, and this one in Springfield is no exception. Always clean inside, and service has always been fast and friendly. No matter how packed the restaurant is we've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for our sandwiches, and they are ALWAYS delivered to your table hot. Penn Station has some of the freshest, crispiest veggies you'll find in any "fast-casual" type restaurant, and their bread...oh my goodness, their bread is AMAZING! So chewy and perfectly baked. My mouth is watering now just writing this review! My favorite subs are the chicken teriyaki (all white chicken breast chunks), the pizza (they lightly grill all of the meats), and the Italian (drizzled with just the right amount of Italian dressing). So delicious. The french fries are the best I've found in Ohio at a fast restaurant -- brown, crispy, and so addictive. And ALWAYS end with a chocolate chip cookie. They are the softest, cakiest cookies I've ever had that are full of large chocolate chunks and almost taste buttery. Obviously I love this place and would recommend it to all! read more

We were out one day, everyone was hungry so we stopped in. Kids got pizza subs. My wife and I each ordered a chicken cordon bleu sandwich. Kids' subs were fine but ours were terrible. First off, the dimensions of the white bread bun don't allow for any toppings. They are too thick in height but the width is too small. We hardly received any chicken or anything else on them for that matter. We got a refund on our sandwiches and sat there while the kids finished up. We've been there before but have never been overly satisfied but this was the final straw. Never again will we go there.
