The only hitch was a miscommunication about the application fee which we thought was waived, but Pat rectified the issue by only having us pay half the fee.

I think it'd be great if brokers (Ula's and otherwise) would recognize that they are being paid for a service, and would actually work to earn my business. Instead, so often they just want to convince you a crappy apartment is gold, and sign on the dotted line. Oh, and honestly to Lesley. Like that right there feels weird!! The broker also mentioned not to call my bank to get my money back either.. It was mentioned, If i qualify it will be used as a down payment towards the fees.. but still. I personally wasn't comfortable with giving $1k for an "application". Like i have never heard of this.. especially this day in age. if it looks like a scam, feels like a scam... ITS A SCAM!
