Midtown West

Workville changed the game for me since leaving NYC due to COVID…read more My company office is in NYC but has been shut down since March and I ended up moving back to California, but my team is still in NYC. What am I going to do when traveling back to NYC and have no office to work from? Cue Workville and boy did they deliver. The location in mid-town is central to anywhere I need to travel to in NYC. Plenty of food options around and safety is paramount at Workville. Hand sanitizer is available throughout, counters are wiped down constantly, Workville residents respect mask-wearing in public areas. Most importantly, support is on hand at all times with Sue, Sabrina, and DJ. If you ask nice enough, they will even let you play your own personal Spotify playlist so you play DJ for your office mates. I love Workville not just for their office layout, nor the wrap-around outdoor deck from the 21st floor, or the free coffee... it's a vibe. A vibe that I need and crave when I visit NYC. As "Ahnuld" said it best, "I'll be back!"

What an awesome coworking space! Also, they've recently expanded to take up two floors of the 1412 Broadway building, so there's plenty of room! Oh, and one of the best amenities of all are the balconies that look over the Manhattan skyline. You can sit out there to do a bit of work, have a call, or eat lunch... what a breathtaking view! As you might guess, Workville has many of the amenities you would expect from a coworking site--from complimentary coffee and espressos to private call rooms for escaping noise during business calls. Note that I'm still trying to talk them into free bubbly and vodka after work hours... but one of these days. =) Drop by Workville if you're looking for a new office space. Sue and/or DJ are super friendly and will show you around and give you all the deets. Once you see the space and talk to members of the community, you'll be hooked!

The WiFi has been reliable and they have a lot of conference rooms to hold meetings. I look forward to their continental breakfast every morning (croissants, bagels, overnight oats, hard boiled eggs), and their afternoon snacks (pumpkin pie, brownies, etc). The interior is spacious and decorated with a lush array of plants, which helps get the creative juices flowing. Unlimited coffee and tea is also a great perk. Lots of food options nearby too. They have co-ed bathrooms which was a little strange at first but you quickly get used to it.

It seems like everyone at Brass Factory feels the same. I have never met a more unprofessional, rude, and strange person in my life. Im not going to be moving forward with my membership. I would never bring a client or investor here, because this person is so unbelievably unprofessional. She is terrible, truly truly terrible, and is rude to pretty much everyone, she has yelled at other members and more than one person who has done a tour has withdrawn their membership because of her terrible behavior.
