First, I'll just go ahead and say that Gina, the Community Manager, is wonderful. She loves her members and her members love her. You can tell that the entire community, while a lot of them work for many different companies, feel like they are a part of a bigger team. The highlights from Industrious (similar to some of the other locations I've seen) were certainly the community, hospitality, and design. There was breakfast from a local boutique bakery, locally roasted coffee, fruit water, and afternoon snacks every day. And it was all included! It was so nice to be able to just work out of the space and have access to everything I needed. I felt like I was in a premium hotel. Not to mention a ROOFTOP deck in New York? Who am I, Beyonce?! Speaking of the rooftop, lucky for me I was there for one of their events to kick off their Wellness Month. The event was Oysters & Rose on Friday afternoon (see pictures) - holy buckets this was AMAZING. The freshest oysters I've ever tasted, rose, cheese plates, charcuterie boards, desserts, chair massages, colorpuncture, and more! So many people came out and I got a chance to chat with a ton of people who had such wonderful things to say. Everyone was super friendly, energetic and really seemed happy to go to work, which is not something you see very often! Miss you already BK!

Avoid this place! For starters, the photos in the listing are not actual photos of the space…read more There are two main issues: 1) the company that runs this space engages in some pretty shady tactics; and 2) the space isn't well maintained. On the first issue, both my business and other businesses in the space have had random, unapproved charges billed to our accounts or claiming that space that was left in a pristine condition required tons of work and, therefore, the former tenant had to forfeit its security deposit. It takes months and multiple emails to get these charges reversed but generally the management's response is something along the lines of we can't help you with that, you have to talk to some other group. On the second issue, there are dirty dishes in the sink always because staff doesn't unload the dishwashers, there's soap on the bathroom floors, and I had gnats in my office from some plants. DO NOT RENT HERE.

There are a few restrooms on the ground floor, however, you need to know the pass code in order to ultize them. I knew the code initially, however, it recently changed and I'm unaware of the new code. The building is kept clean and there are so many suites in total. It's imperative to know ahead of time which specific suite you are going to because you can easily get lost. There's usually no one around to ask for assistance to location your desired suite.

Edit: Added screenshots from said video-- one person entering with a bike & backpack while vows were being read & another office person accessing their space later in the party. I wasn't near my phone for the other few, but I resent the implication I would in any way lie. Given the mentioned "investigation" I'll refrain from posting other clear identifying photos of their employee. This is exactly the same kind of uncaring, condescending response I received initially & in line with my experience. & As with so much misleading information in this process, implying that we are liars or misinformed is easier than showing any empathy or accountability. Again, my only hope is that someone else can learn from what is being demonstrated here. I'll see myself out!
