The raw onion on the burger cost $1.00, four rings of a purple onion. Fries, a $2.00 up-charge from chips were cold, soggy, limpy and clearly died waiting for the replacement meal (which lacked seasoning) for the out of stock Duck wontons. Tab came and included a charge for the out of stock Duck wontons. Had to track down our server, point out the error and wait for a corrected tab. Disappointing for a spot that we frequent.

We never spent too much time without something to drink. She also took our order quickly and the food came out in a really reasonable time for it being packed. The food was delicious! We had a variety of dishes at our table, from a stir fry to pizza to a gluten free "wrap" platter. I had a Bilski Burger covered with cheese, bacon, and "Gold sauce". A side of tots to complement it. The burger was cooked wonderfully and tasted fantastic. Everyone had great food and we all pretty much finished it all up. I'll continue to come back to Moonlite Bay. Dirty outside walls, rotting timber, well it hasn't improved at all since the last time I was there. We had a reservation at 7:00 pm for 7 people visiting from CA. 6 of the entrees were ice cold. The corkage fee for wine was billed higher than quoted the day before and not that it was expensive but the bill charged us .25 cents for an olive in a martini. To sum up a review from one of our guests, MBL was trying to project an elite top tier restaurant with their pricing but having a similar food and atmosphere experience as the other two boat up restaurants on the Whitefish chain at half the price.
