A quick update. Norway has a new chef and some fun new specials. It beyond that things are the same but more consistent. I have had really good experiences with the Pork, Duck, Salmon, and Walleye. The only cons for me are the ribs (which are done the way they have always have and I just don't like the style, it's too much like ham for me) and the Ribeye (I'm not a fan of the blackening and there is usually too much fat for me). Beyond those two, you should come here for the best Supper Club vibe up here. Order a Martini or Manhattan up (you get the mixer and extra drink). Stay for a Brandy Alexander or other ice cream drink. read more

Nice atmosphere. Like all restaurants now, it was expensive. I've had the steaks here before and they are pretty good. Tried the bbq ribs the other night and was very disappointed. You get a full rack which is impressive but they are way over seasoned. Also the bbq sauce is way too sweet. Ate about 3 ribs and brought the rest home. Hoped a better sauce would help.it didn't. read more

Worst steak I've ever had in my entire life! Not only was the $50 steak terrible but the potatoes were ice cold! My wife and I took one bit of both and decided we go somewhere else for our 1st anniversary. For $80 we both had a bit of steak and a bit of cold potatoes. When I went to pay the bill I told the woman at the front how awful our experience was and she told me with a straight face that I should have told someone and they count have adjusted the bill as she is cashing me out?? Ending up going to DQ and had a far better meal. Needless to say I will never go back and I would urge you to not waste your time of money! read more

You cannot beat the ambiance of this classic supper club. We went last week and the food was much improved from our last visit. Sunnies were cooked to perfection. Petit filet was also a perfect medium rare. The food here can me hit or miss but it's the nicest place in the lakes area. read more

OK, this place was so wonderful. Husband and I were visiting Crosslake so hopped over to Norway Ridge. Made a same-day 7:15 reservation. Classic supper club ambiance that feels nostalgic and familiar. The format of soup/salad, rolls, main course is just so quintessentially supper club and my husband and I leaned in. We were sad to discover the table next to us got the last prime rib, but c'est la vie. Started with a house martini (dirty) with blue cheese stuffed olives. It was delicious, especially the olives. Shaker served on the side so you can make that martini last. Started with the sunnies appetizer- tasty! Would get again. Salads- dressings are all house made. I loved the creamy blue cheese, no skimping on the cheese. My husband and I also shared a cup of the chicken wild rice soup- WOW. Best we have both ever had Main course- husband got blackened ribeye which was fantastic, well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. I got the broiled walleye (add almonds) with au gratin potatoes. The walleye was perfectly cooked and the almonds added some nice texture. The au gratin potatoes were so rich and soooo good. I could barely eat 1/3 of them. Service was attentive and our server Ashley was so great, it was a great date night away from the toddler. read more

We've been coming here for many years for various occasions with family and friends. We always had a great experience all around. It felt like home. The past 3 years have been the complete opposite. Today was the third strike. So sorry because it is such a great location and venue. Service is inattentive. Food was inedible - left most of it behind - again. Consistently Poor quality. Overpriced. We're so disappointed after trying to give new owners and staff time to improve - but no improvement and little concern. Sadly, we won't be back. read more

We really enjoyed our experience at Norway Ridge. The dining room looks out over the lake and could be described as rustic elegant. The service was wonderful, there but not too much. The food was perfect. My husband's ribs and chicken were perfectly smoked. The au gratin potatoes were nice and cheesy. I had the petite filet mignon, cooked to perfection. So disappointed. My wife and I went to celebrate a special occasion for dinner. We were given a table in a room with tables set up for groups. I would call it a Chuck E Cheese experience. The families have every right to enjoy a good meal but the children were loud and running around. The hostess should do a much better job seating couples. She also got very defensive when I commented on our way out. They lost our business this evening ... most likely won't care. On a positive note ... our waitress and food were good. Taking a last camping trip of the year and decided to try Norway Ridge Supper Club. It did not disappoint!!! I had the tempura walleye and the wife had the teriyaki beef kabobs. We started with the bruschetta, it was easily an appetizer to serve 4!! It was great. We each had the crab and potato chowder, another hit. My walleye came out and it was 2 fillets!!! Holy cow!!! Once again a huge portion. The tempura was crunchy, not too thick. The fish was tender and moist. It came with asparagus. I judge my fish by how much tartar sauce I need to use to eat it. Needless to say, it went untouched. My wife said the kabobs were flavorful, tender and had the right selection of veggies. It came with a generous portion of wild rice that was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We will definitely be back!! The only thing that was missing was the traditional relish tray of an old time supper club, but they more than made up for that. Finally the service was outstanding and we were well taken care of. read more

We had a group of 7 with reservations for dinner. Previous experience dining here and all of us had prime plenty to take home leftovers. The only issue was with the vegetables brussel sprouts were not cooked all the way tough to eat but flavorful could have been warmer. Really enjoyed the corned beef and cabbage soup. read more

This is such a beautiful spot with great ambiance. I want so badly to love it, but the food has been a miss each time we've gone. We were just there for Valentine's Day and our steaks and sides came out cold. Not room temp....cold. They offered to warm them up but then the steaks were overcooked. We were told the kitchen doesn't have heat. ‍ No comp, no dessert offered, and no offer to have us not pay for the cold dinners. Nada. Sadly we won't be back. read more
