We had around 15 people and all fit comfortably, had 2 fridges, like 4 bathrooms, and everything we needed! I loved all of the activities and options at the main resort such as the chocolate ox (they have jelly cats!!!) or the tshirts/sweaters in the store. The resort itself was great, with complementary pontoon rides & banana boat rides too. The cantina was awesome for their slushies or mexican food to eat on the beach! The shuttle was AWESOME to bring you all over! A few things: the beach was pretty gross at the time we were there... with weeds everywhere. We also didnt really have anywhere to park at our cabin, so that was a bit tough.. but maybe if you park & shuttle it'd be ok too?? Overall, I need to explore even more of the resort & I cant wait to come back!

We filled the days with winter walks, ice skating, swimming and hot tubbing in both the upper and lower pools, bingo nights, and a great family dinner at the Northwoods Pub. Simple moments, shared memories. The lodges themselves are perfect for larger families--a common dining and gathering space with four bedrooms that comfortably sleep 12-14 people. Everything is well thought out and easy. There's adequate food on site, great amenities, and in the summer the ice cream shop is always a hit. What stood out most, though, was the care from the staff and management. We experienced a family emergency during our stay, and they went above and beyond to help us. That kind of care makes a place feel more than just a resort, it feels like people actually see you. We're already grateful for the memories and looking forward to coming back

Both times we've been here, we were seated promptly and the service was friendly and attentive. Parking is super easy and you can hear each other speaking here (I have found these two things are getting more and more important to me, which is I guess how you can tell I'm aging ha!). Breakfast choices for our group included the Paul Bunyan Scramble and the breakfast burrito (huge!!) as well as the standard eggs/bacon/toast/hashbrowns - I should have asked for the hashbrowns to be more cooked and I will remember that next time, but that's my own preference. Dinner was just my husband and me, I can't remember what he got but I KNOW I got the smashburger and it was excellent, as were the fries. This place is not on the water which means it's much more reasonably priced than some of the other choices in the area, too, another reason to visit again!
