Poor customer service! We booked a wedding to be catered (and secured the date with a deposit). We received the catering menu options by email - 2 attachments were email showing options and pricing. When we contacted both the catering manager and the owner, to discuss the details of the food we wanted, we were told one of the menus they provided was not an option. (The menu that we wanted to use). The owner was extremely unprofessional. She openly admitted she had made a mistake by sending the menu and "learned her lesson". When I then asked about using my deposit toward salads for the wedding, grooms supper or if I could use it for a future graduation party, I was rudely told NO. AND she would not reimburse my deposit, even tho she admitted that she was at fault. They handled this situation unprofessionally and in a rude manner. I would never trust Tutti Fruitti for a catering event. read more

I have eaten here twice now and I absolutely love it! I don't even like breakfast, and I LOVE their breakfast! Everything is perfectly made, fresh, and either made from scratch or pretty darn close! This place is easily one of my favorite restaurants ever. The best time to go is on Saturday mornings as their brunch buffet is incredible - a wide variety of awesome home cooked items. Everything I've had here has been great - ALMOST as good as stopping at mom's house. And the pies? Amazing. I always get one to go. My only complaint is that it is too far away from me - I just don't get a chance to stop here very often. Very interesting homespun restaurant on a real farm! Homemade bread, pies and caramel rolls looked yummy and fresh from the oven. Lunch is sandwiches or comfort food, and breakfast- traditional to southwestern. In the summer, the produce building is well stocked and a good value! I'm stingy with 5-star reviews...but this farm stand turned quirky, down-home Minnesotan-style comfort food multi-structure compound definitely earns the brass ring. At the same time, Tutti certainly has some rough edges...like its dusty, and sometimes muddy dirt parking lot, but the farm-to-table food prepared in the open kitchen coupled with service oozing w/ 'Minnesota Nice' and the eclectic atmosphere inside more than made up for anything going on outside. "Everything is fresh here"...our server proudly declared as she discretely tipped us off that two Strawberry-Rhubarb pies had just come out of the oven. I had to jump for a slice of this warm heaven covered with freshly made heavy whipped cream. Awesome for sure. My wife and Mo-in-Law ordered Titti's hearty Chicken Noodle which was super thick with large chunks of chicken, fresh veggies and egg noodles...a full meal in a cup! Before leaving the compound, we strolled over to the out-building housing the fresh veggies for sale. The tomatoes and onions looked especially organic and deelish. Tutti Frutti, with a dedicated following of rural Minnesotans as well as folks up from the 'Cities', earns 5 big ones all day long. Just 5 minutes off I-94 and well worth the time. read more

What a surprise! I took my Uncle out for birthday breakfast looking for a good local breakfast in the Freeport-Sauk Center area. This is my favorite breakfast spot other than Lucille's in Boulder, CO. It is a berry farm. They added a restaurant and Bakery this spring. Breakfasts include fresh eggs from their farm, home made caramel rolls, home made bread. Only about 6 tables. Their lunches include daily specials such as meat loaf dinner, chicken with dressing mashed potatoes..... Pricing is from the 80's! What a find, in the middle of rural Stearns County. read more

I heart Tutti Fruitti! Everything is grown on their farm and homemade. If you miss your Grandmother's comfort food, you need to visit here. Their pies are amazing, and their fresh baked bread will make you go, OMG! So good! Everyone has become so accustomed to how processed food loaded with nasty GMO's and preservatives taste, when you actually taste something fresh & homemade, your taste buds will explode! They have daily specials like tator tot hot dish, too. I wish I had made the trip up there more this summer to go fruit & vegetable picking. We ordered off the menu one day and the buffet the next. the buffet is a great bargain. we took home two pies, also reasonably priced and delicious. Also purchased two frozen Chicken Pot Pies - they are a steal at $1.75 each. there vegetable stand also had some great fresh zucchini, tomatoes and cucumbers. we drove from Albany and it was worth the trip. read more

In terms of location I guess it's "out of the way" compared to other places in town but it is well worth it! They also have fresh produce which they grow right there on the farm. Got there just before posted closing time at 3:00 pm and it was like walking into grandma's kitchen back in rural Indiana. Sadly the lunch buffet was closed and they were in a flurry of activity getting ready to cater a large meal later that evening. Extremely friendly down home staff accommodated the two of us like we were family. The food was tasty, nothing fancy. Very pleasant experience. We left full and satisfied. Breads and pastries were sold out for the day. (That tells me they must be pretty good.) I need to go back to try the caramel roll. If you go I recommend you try to get in before 1:00 pm.
