If you have a ton of time on your hands this place is a decent coffee shop. We showed up Saturday morning and ended up standing at the counter for 10 minutes before anyone took our order. There were only two people working and a steady stream of people coming in. The drinks were good but the food was just ok. I ordered avocado toast and the bread wasn't even toasted. Overall the girls did what they could but the manager definitely need to work on staffing. read more

Good, nice atmosphere, but spendy. Staff is usually really friendly. I really enjoy the monthly/seasonal drinks they make.

Have been dreaming of their monte cristo sandwich since last summer. Devastated that it is no longer on the menu!

Staff take for ever to make a coffee Twice in e weeks A 20 minn wait for coffee And no exhaust so the sandwich smoke fills the room read more

I love going to the beery when I'm in Aiken! The best people, coffee and atmosphere! I especially love their gluten-free scones.

Great place. Great coffee. Awesome scone. Glad they do the hard work to keep it clean and bright!

The Mcbean with the croissant and ham was sooooo good The establishment is also very nice looking read more

This is a unique dining experience. Several non-typical sandwiches. A very different and special place for coffee and a bite to eat.

They've moved and then new space is AWESOME. Gorgeous tin walls and ceiling. The connection to the pantry next door is great, and the reliable drinks remain. Muffins are tip-top. This is my favorite place to visit in Aitkin. read more

I had to stop by this place this morning - simply after reading the positive reviews - But also because I was zipping through town and was looking for a bag of small-town ground coffee to take home. I was not disappointed! I picked up a bag of coffee and one of their incredible homemade glazed donuts. I was told they were made fresh every morning! It melted in my mouth - And I could've easily purchased another dozen ... which would not have been good for my ever-expanding waistline! If you are in or near Aitkin - stop by this place...it will make your road trip that much sweeter! read more

Beanery Cafe Wine Bar - Ground coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Aitkin, Minnesota

The Beanery is a nice local hangout that serves hot drinks, with some food options during daytime business hours. I often come with friends to warm up and chat while surrounded by quaint antiques and the local folks. My favorite time to visit the Beanery is during their themed nights: Mexican Night, International Night, Italian Night, French Flare night, and live music Friday nights! The chef is AMAZING! He dishes up with flare and flavor that brings culture and unpretentious gourmet cuisine to the little town of Aitkin. *Be sure to check out the themed nights! read more

5 stars! I had the BLT and my husband had the Mcbean sandwich. BLT was amazing and they offer gluten free bread/options (and the GF bread was actually great, too!). We travel to a lot of coffee places and thought their coffee was very good, their Americano was bold and their vanilla latte was flavorful but not overly sweet! Dairy free options as well. Great for allergies and a good place to stop for allergy friendly snacks, too. Clean bathrooms. read more

Great place to grab a sandwich. Loved the cranberry wild rice bread and Mango Colada smoothie. read more

The beanery and café are located next to each other and have a wide variety of food, coffee, made to order coffee drinks, a great place to come relax, work online or meet with friends and family. They have special dinner events on weekends and some Wednesdays. Call for details. The beanery also sees many different home, natural products. So much more here to offer than the name tells. Friday night with Friends for a great meal. Pork belly appetizers, smoke brisket, jalapeño mash and a fine merlot. The food had wonderful flavor! The live music was fun and our server Tayron was fun, prompt, and attentive. Just Go!! Only available evenings are Friday-a night to remember! read more

I stopped by the Beanery for lunch on a weekday this winter. There were a few people playing cribbage, some people reading the paper and talking, and two old men playing Christmas music on the accordion. It was such a warm and active atmosphere. I had a BLT on cranberry bread (sounds strange, but it's delicious), chips, and a pickle. I also had a cup of coffee and read the paper. The Beanery is a nice change of pace from the uncomfortable corporate chains that seem to multiply every year. I will definitely be back again. read more

We stopped here on the way through town looking for a quick sandwich and hoping for anything above gas station quality. We were very pleasantly surprised by the selection, and I got a very good bagel sandwich with salmon (not lox). The staff were super friendly and helpful as well, and it was quick. We would definitely stop again if we were in town. read more

Great coffee, good seating, plenty of outlets. This is my go to coffee shop in the Aitkin area. The internet is fast, the staff is quick, and they have soup and sandwiches as well! read more

I'm sorry- 10 second shots just don't cut it for this west coast gal. 12 oz double Americano tasted like water :( I gave a couple stars for their food selection and ambiance but the espresso needs help. I own a coffee shop and if I ever ran a 10 second shot I'd dump it down the drain. read more

I went in to get 2 wraps made, the lady the was working gave me a sheet to make my own and started to help the people behind me when it would have only taken me 3 seconds. They wanted 2 coffees and a milk and it took the lady 10 mins. Finally she rung me up after talk 10 more mins. Started to make my wraps and started crying infront of her boss about her head. Her boss started rubbing her head and neck for 5 mins while I'm sitting there waiting for my food. Took her 20 mins to make 2 wraps. Got my wraps and they were disgusting, missing sauce, and not cut. They leave the doors open and the whole place is covered in flies read more

I loved the champagne brunch. The juevos rancheros were excellent. I am looking forward to theme night dinners.

Loved the coffee, ambience, and service! I did not eat but the treat selection looked great as did the food menu. Special events like wine dinner, Italian evening look incredible- I'd love to attend if I'm in the area again. read more

Disappointed. First stop on our honeymoon as yelp listed them as gluten free. They only had bread, but did not offer it for breakfast. I have Celiac - not confident woman working understood it isn't just bread or cross contamination. read more
