I was visiting a friend at her cabin and this coffee shop was only a short drive away so headed out on a Tuesday morning to get my hot latte. It's a large coffee shop with lots of tables and a back playroom for kids. Loved the word search in giant letters on the wall. Creative. Service was quick. Latte was delicious. It was nice to see local crafts in the store for sale as well as organic coffee beans. Nice stop. read more

We were camping up North and planned on rain. When the rain didn't come and we didn't have any good for breakfast we stopped it. The staff was very personable and helpful. For breakfast I split a cinnamon roll and eggs and bacon with my friend. It was amazing. They have the thick good bacon that I love. They also make the cinnamon rolls homemade. Lastly I had a large latte and it was very large and very tasty. Great hidden gem! read more

We stopped in when leaving Savanna Portage Campgrounds. We each had a cup of coffee (1 Scandinavian blend and 1 Mocha java dark) as well as a mixed berry scone and blueberry scone. The coffee (both blends) were rich and soothing. The scones were very tasty with just the right amount of sweet. They had the perfect amount of moistness so they didn't fall apart but did crumble when eaten. We have had their soups and salads before as well. Just excellent! read more

After living on the lake for a while, we finally tried this place for lunch. I had the buffalo chicken wrap and it was the best I have ever had. I have had buffalo chicken wraps at a ton of places and this was by far the best! I now stop in at least once a week for the buffalo chicken wrap. I'm hooked! The pastries were very sweet, moist, and rich. The pecan pie was saucy almost needing a spoon to get the last morsel. I was expecting a coffee house that roasted coffee beans based on the name if the place, but the "coffee" was over priced and bitter (no free refill either!). The wraps were fine. The clerks were childish and "bothered". Prices were moderate, free wi-fi, clean restrooms, easy and abundant parking. Worth the stop, may do it again if in the area. read more
