Cardboard box for take out order

Their Vegetable Bean Curd soup is always good tasting with fresh vegetables. Vegetable Buddhist Delight without Mushrooms also tastes good. We ordered VEGETABLE FRIED RICE NO EGGS. They gave us FRIED RICE WITHOUT VEGETABLES. That too tasted too SALTY..! In confirmed twice with them. they randomly giving out Take Out Orders in open cardboard box where any spill can result in messing your clothes, car seats if it seeps from cardboard box crevices/holes. This is the only restaurant that gives cardboard boxes for take out orders! I never had any other restaurant do this.

I had never been in here before and my daughter was telling me about their garlic sauce wings. They are delicious. The staff was nice, tables clean, floors clean. I will go back for another visit.

This is our go to spot for Chinese food. The wings are great, orange chicken, beef and broccoli and their rice.

Its alright. After school took many kids there. I like the hot and sour soup. But I prefer calypso next door.

Their noodles have a great texture to them and make their soups absolutely standout from the rest. The shrimp bao buns have great texture and flavor! The staff is friendly and the service is quick! Service was quick, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming--especially thanks to the owner, who is absolutely adorable and always greets guests with a big smile. I ordered the unagi rice bowl, and it was amazing. The eel was cooked perfectly--tender with just the right amount of char--and the sauce had a great balance of sweet and savory. The steamed egg is one of my favorite sides. We also tried the crispy tofu appetizer and the popcorn chicken rice bowl. The tofu was super crispy and flavorful, though the popcorn chicken could use a touch more seasoning. To top it all off, I had a green tea with boba, and the boba was cooked perfectly as always--soft and chewy with just the right texture. Highly recommend JJ's for a cozy lunch with delicious food and friendly service!

What's hot - Menu. It's a pretty extensive menu- meats, veggies, tofu, maybe even for vegans. - Service. For ordering food for a family of 6, our order was ready in about 20 minutes. Everything was properly wrapped up. Nothing was missing. When I gave them the name for our order, everything was ready. They're also open during major American holidays, such as Christmas and New Year's, which is very helpful. - Location. Pretty easy to find in a small plaza with other shops. When we went on Christmas Day, all their tables and chairs were pushed to the side, so I'm uncertain whether they're currently doing table service or if it's just take away orders. - Price. Very reasonable, especially given the portions. If you order a quart, versus a pint, it's less than $10, which includes white rice. What's not - Quality. As a child of immigrant parents, who grew up in Silicon Valley, CA, where there is a large community of Chinese immigrants, I can say that this is not authentic Chinese food. It's catered for the local American population. The flavor and seasoning of the food is very generic. For example the difference between my spicy garlic tofu and vegetable delight was only the tofu. All the vegetables between the two dishes were literally the same, including the sauce/taste. With that said, it's not terrible. For Americanized Chinese food, it works. Final Answer Wouldn't be my first choice for quality Chinese food, but it's reliable.
