The have a buffet however it was almost empty when I arrived and had not been replenished as needed. Also they had no hot condiments to accompany your meal, if you ask for some they provide Mexican bottled hot sauce, " Valentina" which flavor does not pair well with Chinese food. I have been going to Peking Kitchen for years now. My entire family orders food from there. I've told many friends about it who end up being huge fans of this place. The eggs rolls are great. I order beef and broccoli, orange chicken, shrimp friend rice, and beef lo mein. It's always so hard to decide what to get, because its all so good. The prices are great as well. I can get extremely full off of their small $5.00 plates. I have eaten in the restaurant a few times, but i do prefer to order to go. I am absolutely livid! We recently moved, but only a few blocks from our old place where we got delivery all the time. Today I was told that we now live 8 miles away, and therefore too far to deliver. I was perplexed to say the least, so I checked myself on Google maps~~ we are only 4 miles away! I can't believe that no one has written a review on this place! Maybe because it is a small restaurant, somewhat hidden behind a tire shop and car stereo place, but right off of a main thoroughfare (and heavily traveled) In Oak Cliff - Westmoreland Blvd. I mean, if you are driving down Westmoreland, you will drive right by it, and never know it's there. But alas, I am here to help you discover it. I have been eating here for about 5 years now, and me and my wife are probably their best customers, so maybe it is fitting that I be the one to write their first review - here goes. The Building: Don't expect anything fancy. It is a small restaurant, with about 10 booths, a rectangular table for 8 people, and a round table that seats 6. There is also a small TV to watch, visible from anywhere in the room, and the owner is so cool, she will let you change the channel if you're not into the Univision thing. The Food: The All-You-Can-Eat buffet line (didn't I mention that buffet?) isn't as big as other big Chinese Food buffet restaurants, and has very limited selections - but includes soup (try the Hot & Sour soup), entrees (about 8 or 9 of them), various fried items (the kids love the chicken nuggets & french fries), fruits, cookies and other deserts. But here is the MAIN REASON I eat there - the Mongolian Chicken and Steamed rice (you have to ask for the steamed rice - the buffet line only has fried rice on it). This is absolutely the very best Mongolian Chicken I have ever eaten - hands down, and I have eaten at literally hundreds of Chinese food restaurants throughout Texas. Not that the other food there isn't just as good, I just LOVE the Mongolian Chicken. I also love the green beans (sauteed in a brown garlic type sauce), the Jalapeno Pork (also awesome), and the Jalapeno Crusted Shrimp (unbelievably delicious - get these when you see them - they go quick). In fact, I have never eaten anything there that I didn't like. The $$$$$: They have one of the best buffet prices that I have ever seen - during lunch (11am - 3pm) it's only $4.95, although the buffet is an all day event - from 11am - 8:30pm daily. They also offer a variety of lunch specials for $4.50 (try the Kung Pao Chicken), and dinner specials for $5.75. (I recommend the Shrimp/ Chicken with cashew nuts). If fried rice is your thing, you can't go wrong with combination fried rice - a small order is only $5.55, and it is piled high. They accept all types of credit cards, but no checks. Delivery & carry out: They offer delivery (within a 5 mile area), with a $12 minimum order. Carry-out is also available, although I recommend calling in your order ahead of time. Overall, you can't go wrong here. It is one of the best kept secrets of Chinese Food in Oak Cliff. read more

Ive been coming here for over 5 years and is the only restaurant around that is as quick as fast food. I say this because you can come in, grab a plate, get your food, and go. They don't really have to many options, but they do offer the favorites that you would normally get at a Chinese restaurant, and to tell you the truth that's ok because not a lot of people try new things so the menu is perfect. You can dine in at this all you can eat restaurant, call in, or just come in and fill your to go plate with whatever you want and as much as you want for a low price...Sometimes however they have food shortages and you only get to pick from whatever they have. I doesn't mean they ran our of food, they just haven't got around to cooking fresh food. It really doesn't matter as it doesn't happen all the time, it could just be that to many people come in and don't give the cooks time to cook more food. Please skip this place food and ingredients taste cheap. I've ordered the sesame chicken over n over trying g to get what I know sesame chicken can and should taste, I took it back to show the mngr. never does she apologize she tells me I'm the only one that complains as if that's acceptable. The cook came out looked at it and told me the same thing , how rude . Instead of getting a refund I opted to get food off the bar, I got several things again all sucked the beef n broccoli, the beef was pink inside and very tough. The manager could use a lesson in customer service and her staff they cannot even thank you for spending money there.
