In fact, we have been back several times since then. To this day, I don't know what was going on in the kitchen, and I am not sure if they got a new cook or not, but whatever it was, it worked. I even got another order of fried rice (I was a cook on a navy destroyer for three years and we made a lot of fried rice, so I know good from bad on that one!) and, lo and behold, it was good.
