What made it even more frustrating was that she only had two tables, and the restaurant was not busy. My husband's meal never came out, and she did not even notice that he was still waiting for it. While we were waiting for his food, she brought us a drink we had never ordered. She also filled my kids' lemonades with water. The food was just as disappointing. The salmon was extremely dry and hard, and the pasta noodles my kids ordered were hard as well. After waiting and realizing my husband's meal was never coming, we asked for the bill. At that point, our server actually asked if my husband was ready to order... even though he had already ordered and had been waiting for his meal the entire time. Our bill ended up being high, which made the experience even more frustrating because we spent that much money and left feeling like we received essentially nothing worth coming back for. We all left hungry. Mistakes happen, but this was not one small mistake. It was a series of issues with the service, drinks, food, and basic attentiveness, especially considering the restaurant was not busy. For the amount we paid, we expected a completely different experience. Unfortunately, we will not be back.

Went yesterday placed an order to go waited for about 20 minutes. When we got home the orange chicken wasn't fresh or crispy and the rice was pure mush. Tried calling to complain my husband was on hold for about 10 minutes finally just drove back and returned the food. Worst experience ever. We have always loved Pei Wei but this location needs to get it together. Over $20 spent to get horrible food and service. read more

I planned to place my order online and did not see the garlic chicken, just garlic shrimp. I was super disappointed. My daughter told me to just order whatever and I knew she had never had moo shu chicken and this is a dish I love so I decided to go with that. Needless to say, this restaurants moo shu chicken was not like any other moo shu I have ever had. I mean the crepe and plum sauce was the same but the chicken and veggies were different and not in a good way. The flavor was mild and the plum sauce that was spread on the crepe saved this dish. What was disappointing was they gave us one small condiment cup of plum sauce and it wasn't even filled to the top. It was enough for two crepes and we had 6 crepes and chicken and veggies to fill all the crepes. If the plum sauce was what saved this dish imagine my disappointment in not having enough plum sauce for the remaining crepes. They definitely need to give a larger portion of plum sauce. I have turned my daughter on to egg drop soup and she loves it from our usual Chinese restaurant so she wanted to try it here. This egg drop had corn and tofu (we think, but not sure) in it. It was very bland. She had to add soy sauce to it to spruce up the flavor. We always order wonton chips for egg drop soup and did this time too. Their wonton chips were bland as well. Lastly, we ordered crab puffs and the same wonton shells were used for the crab puffs. Just another item that was bland. If I could get the garlic chicken I would try this place again but since I can't I don't foresee us ordering from here again. We will drive a few miles down the street to get our favorite place.

Pricing is reasonable.

I really liked the white rice and teriyaki sauce in the chicken bowl. I also added an egg, which came out VERY over easy, so the yolk was pretty runny. My biggest complaint was that there wasn't a ton of chicken. If you're someone who likes a lot of protein in your meals, I'd definitely recommend paying a little extra for double meat. One thing I really liked was being able to choose five different vegetables for the bowl. They had a ton of options, which was nice, but I do wish they gave you a little more of each one, you get a good variety, just not very much of any individual vegetable. I also tried the salmon bowl and thought the salmon was really well seasoned. It was nice having another protein option besides chicken, especially with how customizable the bowls are.

The teriyaki chicken tasted more like an Asian dish than a Hawaiian dish. But the chicken and rice were good and the teriyaki sauce was good too. My gripe is about two things: 1. Asking for extra sauce 2. Odd service When I received my order, I asked for extra teriyaki sauce and the lady looked and responded to me a bit rudely. Almost felt like me asking for 1 extra teriyaki sauce packet was going to bankrupt their business lol. That's weird and honestly puts a weird vibe on the experience here. The odd service comes from them packing up my order "to go". I never asked for it to go. They never asked me if I was taking it to go. They just packed it up to go. So I began wondering why and then started noticing things. I started watching other customers come in and order. Well, just like it seems like every food spot asks for a "tip" nowadays, I noticed that the customers who chose to tip them (for who knows why ‍) received their orders on a plate to eat in the restaurant. I noticed two other customers who chose "no tip" received their orders in "to go" bags. When I payed for my order, I also chose not to pay a tip because there's simply no reason to pay a tip for pick up places like this. And I also received a "to go" bag. Maybe this is all in my head or just coincidence, but it would be weird to see this happening to everyone who chooses to tip or not to tip, during the 15-20min eating time I had there. So due to these weird things, that's why I chose 3/5 stars. I've never seen another business question a customer asking for more sauce not ever seen them take customers not tipping and personal vendetta's. ‍
