I ordered burgers here for my family when they were in town visiting during Thanksgiving so this review is a bit late. I ordered the Underground Burger and sides of waffle fries and onion rings. I called the order in and when I came to pick it up, it was ready. The server was nice and friendly. It's in a plaza with plenty of parking which I always appreciate. It's a small space but clean inside. The burgers itself were juicy and tasty and the waffle fries were good. The onion rings were too oily so probably not something I would order again. No photos this time as my family and I devoured the food so we'll definitely need to come back! read more

First time trying them, heard of them with great reviews so we decided to try them out on "National burger day" and glad they didn't disappoint! Even our 8yr old son loved his Plain UGB (plain cheeseburger) with side of ranch, he is very picky on taste of burger patties and he was very satisfied! Simple menu but...outstanding burger! There are only a few items on the menu but don't let that fool you. This joint knows how to deliver on a great beef burger. My husband and I ordered their double UGB with sautéed onions and bacon. The sautéed onions and bacon were additional costs. This was a very juicy burger and so jam packed with flavor. My only gripe was with the bun. It was quite soggy so it does make it messy and difficult when you're trying to get everything in a bite. Nevertheless, I would come back and probably try their chicken burger next time. I didn't order their shake but it also looked super tasty. The inside of the restaurant is small and quite basic but there are chairs and tables with condiments outside. The service was friendly and we waited about 10 minutes for our food. While this place doesn't have the set up and ambiance of a trendy sit down restaurant, they do offer exceptional food and patio seating. There is no indoor seating. You order al a carte at the counter. Prices are fair in comparison to other burger spots. They did mess up my order slightly by forgetting an item but made it right without question. I recommend getting this to-go and definitely get crinkle cut fries! Yummy and will go back any time I'm craving a good burger! read more

Their burgers and fries are amazing! They have mastered a great burger and the fries melt in your mouth. My only complaint is they shut down the grill before 8pm (closing time) one night we decided to stop in on our way home it was 7:40pm - maybe 7:45pm and when I walked in I was told because they were slow they had already shut the grill down so I could order fries but no burger. My kiddos were super disappointed, but now knowing that I just make sure I put in our food order before 7:30pm. read more

With such great reviews I had high hopes for this place. Primarily I went there for the shakes but was disappointed as they couldn't do a strawberry shake as they ran out of ingredients for it. I got a chocolate shake but it was a disaster for the guy making it as he had issues with the shake maker and it threw up chocolate shake all over him. The burgers were okay, decent sized and nicely made, but the fries were not wonderful at all as I found them to be greasy. The price was crazy too. Burgers and fries for three people with a couple drinks ran upwards of seventy bucks. That's like a night out for two at a nice steak joint, so I'll do that instead the next time we want to go out. It's also outdoor seating only. Fortunately it was cool out, but in the summer when it's warm and you have to take it home I would imagine the food wouldn't travel well. read more

So, we really wanted to try this place. Got two burgers, fries and two shakes. Everything really was good at first! It looked appealing as well, however at about the halfway point our stomachs became super churned & upset. Both of us threw up everything (multiple times) & still continue to feel nauseous 30 minutes later. Would I eat here again? Located in Queen Creek, this is a small restaurant with little to no indoor seating and a small patio, so it's mainly aimed towards takeout orders. We ordered a couple burgers along with fries. They were hot upon pickup and the counter staff were decently friendly. I thought they were just okay. Everything was a bit greasy, for sure. Definitely not something I'd go out of my way to get again. I think In N Out or Five Guys is better, IMO. read more

We have been wanting to try this place and finally got around to it. The menu is pretty basic, Burgers with a GF option, 2 types of fries, and shakes. The burger was pretty good. The crinkle cut fries were crisp and good. It was pretty expensive for what you get though...$12 for a double and $9 for single patty? Kind of expensive. The service was nothing to get excited about. The young lady took our order, wasn't very talkative or overly friendly. There's only one table to sit at and it's outside, so don't expect to sit and have a meal. Upon entering, I noticed that there was no seating outside of two small tables outside. After entering, immediately heard swearing from the back coming from some younger gentlemen. Took a little bit to be greeted and when we were, the kid seemed put out. Aside from that... The burgers are ok, but nothing to write home about and definitely not worth $10-13 a piece. The onion rings... not rings but rather shards of what once were onion rings. Super messy to eat. I hate to sound like an avid complainer, but I had such high expectations for this place. After tons of friends recommended this place, we had to try it. I downloaded the app and placed order. The app was very easy to navigate. It even offered a free milkshake and has a reward program. My husband and I both ordered the underground burger, he added bacon and I had grilled onions. We ordered the waffle fries to share and had the chocolate shake. Wow this place is incredible! Simple menu with the best food. I ordered a double burger and not only was it delicous but it was GIANT. They also had thr best gluten free buns at only a dollar extra which is a steal! The burger was so big even with just one patty. The sauce and toppings were so good. Normally a place called Underground Burger would really attract people because of how good you would think it is. First, there were a bunch of teenagers running around, no supervision, no one was polite, watching the "cook" in the back wasn't a thing of entertainment, in fact it made me nervous the way he was handling the food. Now after all that, the price was absolutely insanely expensive, it's like the burger should be served at Charlestons. I was excited to eat until I took a bite. What the heck is this? let me just squeeze the oil and make a drink out of it. Had the worst stomach ache ever. I'm sorry but i can't imagine or justifying going back. Workers were extremely slow and I even talked to one lady to make sure my burger was well done because I didn't see that option for my burger, but saw it for my sons. She assured me they have to cook it well done due to safety. Sure enough, my burger came out medium rare. Saw this spot on IG a few days ago. One of the FOODIES I follow visited this location and it's very close to my home. The place is small and to the point! Place was very clean and you can see into the kitchen. My order took about 10 mins and I was out the door. There is only two tables outside for sit down to eat service. Inside seating in only for waiting for your order. So this is a great spot if you in a hurry and on the go! The burger itself was amazing and their secret spread is very good. One of the best burgers in the area by far. Only downside to the visit was they put a TERRIBLE tomato on my burger. It was like the end of the tomato and it should not have been served. I'm a huge burger fan and I have to say this place is officially in my top 5 for burgers. Most burger shops these days give you a small burger for a high price, but underground burger gives you a BIG burger for a great price. They're a smaller shop in a hidden corner. If you want to eat the burger there you have to eat outside and there is very limited seating. You're better off getting it to go. Their employees are always so kind and helpful. We usually order through the app which is very easy to do. I highly recommend you get their waffle fries as they are THE BEST!!! This place has good simple burgers and delicious shakes. I ordered the Original underground burger with a strawberry shake. I enjoyed both. The prices are comparable to any other fast food place. I noticed that the 2 ladies working there were very concerned about cleanliness. The lady working the cash register washed her hands religiously in between packing food and taking orders. The place is hidden from the main road and it sits in a corner store by a Walgreens and a Aaron's furniture place. Plenty of parking but no place to sit inside to eat.
