The bread was toasty, and the steak, mushrooms, and cheese all melted together was such a divine combo. The fries were nicely seasoned (kinda like curly fries) and crispy. It smelled great! I had the steak Philly and my wife had the catfish. I really hate to give any type of bad reviews. (Unless it is totally deserving) Mine just had no flavor to it! Nothing! I can understand why they charge so much, but just flavorless. I really liked the bread. My wife's catfish was super salty. Not crispy, just soggy. She didn't even finish it. We ended up giving the rest to some stray cats in the parking lot. Just disappointed with the food over all. In my opinion, I think most or some of the reviews here are probably friends of the owner. Just disappointed is all. They could do better. Friendly staff though.

Aside from that, these are some really reasonable food truck prices in my opinion. The Chicago Dog was great! Perfect late night bite. Everything looked good and I wish I had found them earlier so I could have tried more off their menu!

The Silence of the Lambs was amazing, and a must try; the fig sauce really makes the sandwich pop! The Windy City was too amazing! As a native Chicagoan I'm a hard core Italian Beef aficionado and let me be the first to tell you that first bite brought be back to the streets of the Chi with fond childhood memories of eating beef sandwiches at the counter with my grandfather at our neighborhood hot dog joint. This is authentic Chicago food and I highly recommend Blueberry & Fig. So if you happen upon them at a show or an event definitely give them a try and I'm positive you won't be disappointed! We can't wait to try the other menu items!

I believe they were assisting another customer who pulled into the lot with them with an order. I approached them to ascertain if they were staying on lot and if so, if they could relocate to the east side of the lot as we advise all big trucks or trailer hitches on site to be relocated to that side. They complied happily but advised me they weren't staying and making a brief stop which is never a problem. What happened next was not what I expected... The male gentleman asked me if I was hungry or even wanted a burrito. I replied with a "thank you, but I was okay." He had a warm smile and true consideration for me, which surprised me as this was the first time I've ever had interaction with Casa Reynoso. The male gentleman insisted politely and I could not refuse this offering as I was hungry and hadn't had breakfast that morning. The female who was with the male gentleman began to prepare me not one but TWO egg, chorizo, potato and cheese burritos with salsa!!! I was overwhelmed with emotion I could barely contain myself and thanked them both. And just as fast as they arrived they were gone. To Casa Reynoso, thank you for gifting me with great food, excellent service and an experience that went well above and beyond. To God, thank you for blessing me through the many people in your flock whom you give your unfailing love too.

I hope they come back to visit soon!

I never expect to pay less, and just happy when places accommodate to make vegetarian. Loved the portion size and that it was homemade off the grill. It was so delicious a friend tried a bite of mine and took his pupper up to order himself one. They surprised him with a cheesy omelette for his dog, and that was such a treat! Wife ordered this one. The grilled cheese was served on sourdough with a garlic parmesan cream sauce, a slice of tomato and a combo of Gouda and Swiss cheeses. She ordered with no Swiss. Also ordered The Olive Mill Salad, which was made of arugula, red onion, pears, goat cheese and a fantastic lemon thyme dressing. Said that both dishes were really good and the salad was amazing because of that tangy dressing. Typical food truck prices ($8 for salad and $11 for the grilled cheese). Friendly owner and helper on the truck and it didn't take too long for the order to be received.
