After mistakenly ordering my takeout food at another location.... when I went to pick it up here the manager Raul, was so compassionate and understanding towards my dumb mistake. He even gifted me my reorder here....I have never been disappointed in any of the food I've ever ordered from this store and today's food was so delicious....I can't wait to go back.!!! Great customer service when they didn't have to!!! read more

I was not very impressed with this location. The girl that was working, seemed lazy and rude, and was not very nice. When we walked in to order, she didn't acknowledge us or say anything for a good 5 minutes. She was bagging up orders and talking to one of the cooks. She was also constantly on her phone. She finally walked over and said are you dining in or picking up and I told her we were dining in so I placed the order. I had my birthday coupon for a free appetizer, but for some reason another coupon went in for a $9.99 entrée. She wouldn't change the coupon over to my appetizer one since you can only use one per transaction. Not sure why. As we were sitting there waiting for our food, I noticed that she was like that with everybody that came in. Not very good service at all. But the food is always good. read more

Kudos to this location! I was on the fence between giving Pei Wei's a 3 star or 4 star review. I went with four stars solely because of convenience and speed when I place my takeout orders. Other than large catering orders slowing down the kitchen. When you place your order on their app. You will always have it ready at your listed ready time or before. Food is always fresh and piping hot! Never walked into a dirty dining area. Customer Service is always top notch. They will earn my business with this winning combination. read more

Stopped into Pei Wei in Avondale for lunch with my coworkers, and it checked all the boxes for a solid midday escape. The food came out hot, fresh, and impressively fast, always a win when you're racing the clock before the next meeting. Service was smooth, and the portions hit that sweet spot of "satisfying" without sending you into a full-on food coma at your desk afterward (though let's be honest, the 2 p.m. nap temptation is still real). The space is casual and comfortable, and it's the kind of place where everyone in the group can find something they like without a debate that takes up half the lunch hour. We all agreed we'd come back again. Four stars for tasty food, speedy service, and making us forget about work emails for at least 30 minutes. read more

I haven't been to this pei wei in a while. Probably 8 years. The reason, they never really carry anything I must have. Plus there are always a bunch of other amazing places to to try every time we want to eat out. But my husband remembered really liking their food at one point and we were next door to them, grabbing some batteries. I walk in and look at the menu. Not much for me to pick from that's not seafood or that looks appealing. I go with noodles and steak. I don't think I'll try it again read more

I cant believe the reviews for this place aren't higher. I was quickly greeted at lunch time and easily placed my order for firecracker chicken and fried rice. Bonus points for having coke zero! My food came out in about 5 minutes and was the surface temperature of the sum! It was very very fresh and tasted great. I'd definitely come back! read more

Pre Covid, we frequented this Pei Wei often. Not sure what has happened but we will not return. Used to be better than it's sister store, PF ..., but not now. Took Hot and Sour soup of menu!?!? Dirty everywhere. Slow service. Seems like servings are smaller, main course served in plastic to go plates. Another victim of, Private Equity take over? Take the profits and not reinvest in business. So disappointing, especially considering how good it used to be. read more

Today we ordered a large order of different types of meat for a Mother's Day lunch at our house... this is RAW. Completely unsafe and unacceptable on Pei Wei's part to be that careless. How do you not cook the steak at all??? Disgusting. You could definitely get someone seriously sick. Won't ever be going back to this location! read more

Employees do not have common sense or basic customer service when it comes to online orders, pick up or delivery. Half the time you order the potstickers, the sauce cup is completely upside down and leaks over all them leaving a congealed mass of whatever they fill them with to plop out into the sauce cup. Sometimes the cooks get the sauces and/or toppings mixed up and just send it out. If you notice your order is messed up, you have to go pick up your *CORRECTED* order from the restaurant yourself. I will never eat there ever again. read more

Great customer service. I ordered an entree when I tasted it I did not like it. I felt bad to let them know how I felt about it. I waited awhile tried eating it but it was just something that I was not enjoying. I called over a team member named Susan. I explained to her that I did not like my choice of entree. I felt so bad. She was so pleasant and was quick at helping me out. She asked if there was something else that I would like. She gave me some recommendations. I got another entree and I really enjoyed it. Thank you Susan for being helpful and making me feel comfortable. Customer service like this is what keeps me coming back. Avondale location on Dysart Rd. Thank you!! read more

Food was great. The girl came from behind the counter to help us figure out what we wanted. I had the Mongolian chicken with cauliflower fried rice and it was delish! I do think 30 bucks for 2 of these was a bit spendy for a fast food restaurant but we did both have leftovers. The restaurant smelled like a bathroom that would be my only complaint but we did love the food and the iced tea rocked! read more

First time, Service was great, food was prepared fast will absolutely Recommend to anyone

Every time I come here the customer service is great, food taste good, and place is clean . I would recommend this place.

I've driven by this Pei Wei but had never visited before. With two dear old family friends in town for a visit, I offered this Pei Wei as an option for our lunch. They had never been to this chain before. Fortunately, we arrived at a good time, right before the lunch rush, and the cashier was very patient as she helped them order. We found the dining room to be clean; there was no problem getting a table, though within the ten minute wait for our food, the place started to fill up. I ordered one of their new items with riced cauliflower, their take on chicken fried rice. It's a rather monotone dish to the eye but it tasted good, with a nice amount of chicken that was not overcooked. My friends ordered teriyaki chicken on a salad and General Tso's bowl with a variety of three meats; they liked the food well, though General Tso delivered a little more heat than expected! In all, I enjoyed my visit here and hope to visit again. I feel like I was able to eat out in a healthy way, which is often a frustrating endeavor. read more

I actually don't go out for Chinese at all but the menu had plenty of healthy options even tofu too which caught my attention but I had a great time here. Food is fairly priced, staff is friendly and attentive to dietary needs. Plenty of great sides too. Fortune cookies are free as well as the fountain drinks on refills read more

Why am I on Yelp instead of eating right now? Because the meal was that disappointing. Got the beef and broccoli they over did it with soy sauce so it was very salty, don't get the side of noodles they are dry. It was burnt on the sides as if they had cooked it twice before. I hate wasting food but I couldn't finish it, employees were nice food was bad :| read more

Wow! So disappointed! We got one bowl of Thai soup, one entree and two drinks. $25! The soup was literally cold and NO flavor. Water with onions and a couple of dumplings. The entree, bourbon chicken with white rice, and the only flavor was extreme sweet. There was no salt or soy sauce available to cut the sweetness. Mall food court bourbon chicken had better flavor than this place. Chef Tila needs to check on what his restaurants are putting out before endorsing them! read more

The chicken dumplings and chicken fried rice were delicious, but my husband said the bourbon chicken tasted fishy, like it was cooked in the same pan as fish. He could not choke it down. The broccoli was hardly cooked and the thai donuts were tiny. Please do better. read more

Ordered this evening through DoorDash. My husband got his food with sauce on side only, mine was normal, 2 different entrees. Mine was made without sauce and had no sauce on the side. Annoying, but oh well. I used his leftover sauce since I liked it and mixed it in and then discovered RAW chicken in my meal (his had crispy chicken). So now I can't even eat my missing-sauce meal. And it's closed now of course. Thanks for my nothing of a meal. read more

Don't eat here if you're Gluten-free. I specifically ordered a gluten free item told them I needed them to make gluten free-because I have Celiac. I was violently sick all night and still am this morning. I called the restaurant to complain the manager wouldn't get on the phone with me saying he was too busy and I should call back some other time. I can no longer trust PeiWei for gluten free items and can't eat here Or any of their locations any longer. read more

This location we drop in every once in a while when heading home from across town. It is a super super busy location and is going strong. Our last visit we were heading home from shopping and needed to get some food in my husband's belly before his 7pm bedtime. Their sister company P.F. Changs was an hour wait after waiting to place an order over 30 minutes. I called Pei Wei. 27 minutes estimate wait. I asked if they had anything like P.F.'s low mein. They offered low mein with steamed chicken, but they accommodated our crispy chicken request. Husband was super happy. I had ordered a teriyaki chicken dish with no sauce to share with the girls since we had recently eaten . Being so busy it was overlooked so we were credited back that dish. Oh I almost forgot to mention. They stopped carrying the sweet and spur dish about 2 1/2 weeks ago so more sweet and spur sauce. read more

My meal was hot and fresh and arrived quickly. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

Poor poor management. We had to sit at a dirty table and clean it ourself. All the utensils and sauces were out. We waited over 25 minutes for our food, only to get cold dumplings and slightly warm noodles. We returned the dumplings, stating they would warm them. We finished our noodles, and had to walk up to get our dumplings back only to be handed cold dumplings yet again. We handed them back and at this point just wanted a refund. The nice chef in the back made a third round of dumplings and handed them to us himself. That is the only reason I'm giving two stars. Thanks chef, you're the only one trying there. read more
