    Lovely Sunday lunch

I hadn't been in this restaurant for about two years. I had been a fairly regular customer before. But then came Covid and an exponential decline in quality. I have been two times in the past month and each time the food was excellently prepared. And service was friendly and efficient. Seems like they have changed up how they operate and it's for the better! So glad to include this back into my regular lunch stops. Keep it up Pei Wei!

I needed a noodle fix today and Pei Wei was on my way home. I got the vegetarian noodles. It had shredded carrots, pea pods, and broccoli. It had a tasty teriyaki sauce over noodles. The portion was huge. Actually enough for 2 people! The veggie spring rolls were good too. It was a short wait to have my meal prepared and the staff was very friendly.

"Back in the U.S.A".. Oh well, oh well, I feel so good today, oh yeah We just touched ground on an international runway.. Jet-propelled back home, from overseas to the USA.. We stopped in to Pei Wei to bring home lunch.. Staff was helpful and engaging... We wanted to taste what changed since Chef Jet Tila took over as Company Executive Chef and Partner.. We shared the.. "Signature Chicken Lettuce Wraps", filled with tasty ground chicken, shitake mushrooms, et al. And... "Firecracker Shrimp" w. Crispy perfectly cooked juicy Large Shrimp, a Sweet and Spicy Firecracker sauce topped w. scallions, just wished they had included more veggies.. The quality and delicious flavours exceeded our expectations... Well done Jet..:) Looking hard for a drive-in, searching for a corner café.. Where Woks sizzle on an open grill night and day.. A jukebox jumping the records like in the USA, oh yeah.. Thank You, Pei Wei Best, Avram Chukbery Jr.

I haven't been to a Pew Pei in years and my girlfriend has been on some type of Chinese fast food kick recently. We came here twice within 7 days because we downloaded the app which gives you a free entree after your first order and my girlfriend wanted to try multiple dishes. Service was good and the place was clean. We ordered takeout when we got there both times. The one thing I really don't like is that you don't get to mix and match like you would at Panda Express where you can have to entrees with your rice or noodles. This is why we came back a 2nd time. There was nothing wrong with any of the food from the 4 dishes we ordered from the two times we ordered takeout, but everything was bland. I'm sorry to say it really lacked any seasoning. The curry dish, you really don't get enough curry sauce, but you do taste the coconut milk/cream. The Pad Thai Chicken was ehhh, I really could've gotten something better from the frozen section or the prepackaged stuff at the grocery store. Again food wasn't cooked poorly or anything, it was just lacking in flavor. I've had Pei Wei in the past when I lived in AZ and these two visits don't even compare to what I remembered. We probably won't be coming back, not because of the service, but the lack of flavor in the food.

Great location! Our food was tasty, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the seating area was very clean. I especially liked how crispy the tofu was. My son ate his whole meal and got a kick out of the chocolate dipped fortune cookies.

Jose was so helpful and kind! She helped me get the exact food I needed for my family's dinner. Highly recommend the pei Wei on 380. Was very clean on the inside! Will be coming back very soon.

It has been a long time since I have been to Pei Wei. The other location cooking area was so dirty that I stopped eating at any Pei Wei locations. It was next door to a store that I was shopping in, so I decided to give Pei Wei another chance. Gluten free, vegetarian and kid's menu options are absolutely available. There are more options on the restaurant's menu than on the website. Clean restaurant and cooking area. Good customer service. However, I ordered a very spicy Kung Pao Shrimp and it had way too many carrots in it, just a few shrimp. In addition, ordered a kid's meal and meal had to be remade because it contained wrong protein. Will I be back to any Pei Wei? Probably not. Pei Wei seems to have lost its appeal. Perhaps you'll have a better experience than I have. Best of luck to you!

Great tasting food. Excellent service. Ambiance is relaxed with the smells of amazing food being prepared. Will come back for sure.

Was searching for something a little on the healthier side so thought I would check out, Pei Wei, it's been many moons ago since living in my AZ days. I'm definitely all about Local, however some local businesses aren't open until Wednesday, unfortunately. Walked in and was immediately greeted by Ali the cashier, so friendly & helpful with the menu and basically help me decide what were some good choices of what I was looking for. The Manager Manny was so sweet & kind, since I changed my mind with what I was going to get and had to help the cashier make changes to my order. Their food was so fresh, so flavorful and one of the best fast casual take out, that I've had in a long time. There's nothing better than when you have those busy days and you just don't want to cook for yourself and now I can finally have awesome offerings like their chicken lettuce wraps and the beef & broccoli and so many more dishes I'm dying to try. They are super busy these days and all the staff is busting butt so in case you order keep in mind we're living in strange times of the waiting game, but these guys really deserve a pat on the back in how they handling all circumstances of restaurant team hospitality. Thanks Pei Wei for my #sexyfood take out!

I took in the ambiance and noticed the restaurant was pretty spacious, the tables/booths were decently sized so you have enough space for your things or if you want to spread out. So once our waiter came, I asked him to confirm. I got the lemon grass pear martini, which was made perfectly, and was absolutely delicious. It was my favorite of the night! For the appetizers, we got Shanghai shrimp, it came with two dips (mint cilantro dip and not sure what the other one was). The other appetizer we got where the dumplings. The inside was pork and vegetables (Shanghai, dipping sauce, but tasted like sauce sauce). Both appetizers were delicious, I'd definitely order again. For our entrees, I ordered the Sesame chicken it came with broccoli and I got white rice, it was perfect, and everything I wanted! I'm glad our waiter confirmed because I was stuck between that and the red curry beef. My dining companion ordered the rice paper salmon, which comes with mango, pineapple, salsa, Shanghai sauce, and sweet cucumbers. They loved it, and the large was enough to take to go and have the next day. All in all, we had a great service from our waiter Ronny, a nice dining experience and fabulous drinks!

You settle in with the quiet confidence of someone who once spent a month in Mumbai and now believes they understand spice. You are ready. Reader, I was not prepared. Let us begin, as all great tragedies do, with the Vegetable Pakora. The pakora arrived looking less like the airy, craggily fried vegetables one typically encounters and more like someone had convened a committee about pakora and emerged with a dense, dough-forward compromise. Imagine if a samosa and a falafel had a child, and that child had structural anxiety. The texture was fine. The flavor was onion. The vibe was: lunch. The portion count deepened the intrigue. They arrive in orders of three. Three. Not four, which would split evenly at a table of four. Not two, which would behave like an appetizer. Three -- as if the kitchen is conducting a long-running study in social friction. We ordered two plates and found ourselves staring down six substantial dough spheres before the meal had begun. We had ordered snacks and received a commitment. Then -- plot twist -- Paddy's Chicken Tikka Masala arrived and redeemed roughly forty percent of the evening. This dish is excellent. Genuinely. Charred white meat, not the rubbery pallid cubes that haunt lesser tikka masalas, sitting in a tomato sauce that is smooth, tangy, and wrapped in cream with the casual confidence of someone who has always known they were beautiful. The spice balance is impeccable: heat that suggests rather than insists, sweetness that arrives and then politely exits, a buttery richness that begs to be eaten with naan. Which, tragically, we will get to. The Lamb Vindaloo, ordered hot, was the moment the evening reconsidered its direction. Vindaloo should feel like drama. Goa via Portugal. Fire and vinegar and slow-cooked depth and bright spice. It should leave your lips gently smoldering and your palate alert and grateful. You should need a quiet minute afterward. This vindaloo asked nothing of me. The heat was theoretical. The sauce was what I would charitably describe as present. And the lamb -- I say this with full respect for the animal -- was tough. Not rustic. Not hearty. Tough. I worked for that lamb. The lamb did not want to be eaten. The Gobhi Aloo arrived as a meditation on texture and its quiet disappearance. The pleasure of this dish is contrast: cauliflower with toasted edges, potatoes with yielding interiors, both retaining their individual dignity. Here, both vegetables had transcended identity and achieved a unified softness I can only describe as philosophical. The spices were warm and pleasant but the texture had left the building. Then came the Paneer Makhani, which I did not receive. What arrived instead was Saag Paneer -- a dish I do not order, have never ordered, and specifically pointed to on the menu while saying the words not that one, this one, here, I am pointing. Three times. Nevertheless: spinach. My companions enjoyed it. I watched them the way one watches people board a train you were supposed to be on. And now, the naan. Good naan bends. It yields. It smells faintly of yogurt and smoke and the particular satisfaction of bread doing its job. It behaves like a partner. This naan resisted. It stretched before tearing in dry, fibrous protest. When folded, it cracked. When chewed, it demanded effort -- not the pleasant effort of good bread, but the jaw-working persistence of something baked earlier that had since made peace with its circumstances. When deployed to scoop curry -- its entire reason for existing -- it snapped and leaked like a bread-based betrayal. I wanted to soak up that transcendent tikka masala and instead found myself doing structural engineering. The rice was fine. The rice showed up, did its job, and asked nothing of me. The rice deserves stability and health benefits. A few notes: every person must order an entrée or pay a six-dollar surcharge -- enforced at tables designed for two people with no dishes and excellent posture. Four of us were pressed against the wall with neighbors close enough to critique our naan in real time. Gratuity appears at the server's discretion. Ours was so swamped as to be theoretical -- food arrived via supporting cast, the paneer went uncorrected, and most critically, I could not order another beer while I still wanted one. Reservations strongly advised. The verdict: The tikka masala alone may justify the trip. Everything else is a negotiation. One star for Paddy's Chicken Tikka Masala, which deserves better company. One star for the rice, which showed up and never complained. Filed from Santa Fe, with a beer I eventually obtained at home.

The Char Sui Pork in the dish is to die for !! moist, tender and perfectly tasty Interesting that it is served with a lime wedge, which definitely makes me think Thai influence!
