"I would never do that, I don't know why you would", with a condescending tone. I've been in customer service over 10 years so I'm always mindful of making a connection with customers so they want to return. There was another short exchange after that one that want pleasant on her part. We left shortly after.

The sale merchandise is organized incorrectly. Several times my hopes were dashed.....The one pair of Prada sunglasses that I found that I actually liked were hardly discounted at all. Staff was less than enthused to assist with any part of the shopping process. Rudely hung out by the register (store was empty) and only came over to tell me, "no that's not marked down at all, even though the sign above it says 30% off. I can tell by the number at the end of the tag." Thanks so much. I can assure you would wouldn't be able to coax an opinion to "are these Valentinos or these Kate Spade glasses better on my face?" out of anyone in the store, so bring a friend if you need a second opinion (essential for sunglass shopping). Check out the Michael Kors or Coach store - better prices and staff is about 1000x more helpful.

Their customer service is pretty good because every time I go in the guys are friendly and know exactly where my hair or hair products are in the store. They send me coupons and promos that keep me coming back and I like that it's fully stocked with what I need. I kinda feel disloyal for going here just because I shopped at the other place for years but what can I say? I love the prices and service and they even give me free samples sometimes when I spend $50 plus.

I went to the…read moreSunglass Hut on Michigan Ave to return a pair of sunglasses on January 22nd (it's currently May...) and I was treated so rudely by the associate and she didn't even properly refund my money. I'm still out $30 that she refused to help me get back. The associates from the Sunglass Hut at this location were MUCH nicer and have been working to help me get my remaining money back but it has been such a struggle. I have called customer care, the audit team, and so many other numbers in between. This experience has been the worst and no one is able to locate my refund check. Absolutely nothing has been done by corporate to remedy or help the situation. I have been getting no communication and have wasted so many hours trying to track down the check. I want my money refunded and something done about all this time wasted.

I was complaining about my old pair of Maui Jims and Sebastian explained to me how Maui Jim had improved their product line so that they were more secure and less breakable. He also explained about polarization and helped me find glasses where you could not see my eyes. They had a promotion going on for Maui Jims where they were giving away gift bags that included a water bottle, golf towel, golf tees, strings for your glasses, bottle opener, and a string bag. What a lucky coincidence! I had a birthday 20% off coupon that I had forgotten to bring but Sebastian was nice to apply it to my purchase. I also had some trouble with a pair of raybans that I had previously purchased and Sebastian helped me fix them and clean them up! What great service I received here! I am definitely coming here again for all my sunglass needs!

Everyone knows to look straight ahead and avoid eye contact when passing kiosks! That's Mall Shopping 101. After complaining to my friend Leo about my ongoing sunglass plight, he suggested Sunglass Hut. "Sunglass Hut??? That 80's store?? With those Oakley Eyeshades??" I immediately felt doubtful, but since I'm frequently in downtown Naper and I could avoid Rt 59, I figured I had nothing to lose. Whoa. This place is legit. Gucci, Versace, Dior, Tom Ford, Valentino, Prada, Armani etc... So many sunglasses. So many styles. And yes, even a few styles that looked good on me. Choices. With a $150-$400 range, this isn't shopping for eyewear at Target, but you'll look magazine ready in these. And those $15 plastic frames aren't doing anything for your face, honey. Plus, they have a great policy that they'll replace your broken sunglasses at 50% off for 12 months after purchase. So go ahead. Do it. You can eat instant ramen for the next month if need be.
