We had a pretty good idea of what we thought we wanted but Todd ever so gently steered us to a wood and a color we never thought we would like because he has a great sense of what works. When we decided to upgrade our floors, we spent considerable time researching and comparing reputable flooring companies for various options, brands and colors of flooring. We ultimately chose Peek's Floor Company in Frisco not only for their vast array of products, but also for their competitive price and professional customer service. Areez Popatia was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with the entire process, from encouraging us to take samples home to decide on the right color, to communicating with the installation team, and addressing all of our questions and concerns from start to finish. He made himself available to be contacted and always responded promptly. As he told us when we met, Areez does things correctly and professionally, and does not tolerate taking any short cuts. Needless to say Areez's experience put our minds at ease. Mario and his installation team were professional, detailed and very hard working. I have no problem with the product we received, however, we now have a broken tile in our kitchen and a hole in our wall in the main foyer. I at least expected a call to see how satisfied we are, but nothing. The installation was fine - EXCEPT for these two things. Not sure I should even give them a 3. We purchased our carpet through Todd, and we couldn't be happier with the result. It's been nearly two years, since we had our carpet installed. Peek's and Todd installed everything with great fitment. The quality of the carpet is great too; I've spilled coffee on it a few times, and just with a wet towel, I was able to remove the stain to an extent where I was not able to identify the original location of the stain. My experience with Peek's was horrible and I cautious all consumers to shop elsewhere at all costs. First theubdod not show up as scheduled, they dod not order enougj carpet, and the installed product was not the carpet I ordered. Intallation quality was poor; they refused to properly prep the floor before installing the carpet. Very unhappy with the new flooring installation. The installers rushed, reducing a three day estimated job into one and one-half days. Dried glue was left on our tile flooring, and tiny nails were left everywhere. Our Flexsteel electric recliner chair was broken when Peeks rushed to move the furniture. When you sign the contract saying the flooring has been installed, you are also signing away Peek's liability for any damage to your furniture. SO BEWARE, AND DON'T USE PEEKS. Even if you have used Peeks in the past, they are now owned by S & H Flooring, a larger and less responsible company. read more

Mark is very knowledgeable, thorough and has great customer service skills. He and his crew made the process easy as it could be. The quality of work was top notch and was reasonably priced. We had them to install flooring for our new house entirely, from carpet, tiles and woods. Areez was helpful, patient and knowledgeable on picking out different types of flooring and carpets. We felt he was detailed and reliable. After we decided to go with them, though, we had a couple of issues that they were not as helpful as we expected them to be. We noticed Areez was not communicating with the floor installers or baseboard installer (which he recommended us) well enough either. Overall floor installation was ok, but tiles are not leveled well so swiffer gets stuck when we tried to clean afterwards. Overall, just ok. We will go with another flooring company next time though. read more

Not only does Todd have extraordinary technical experience and knowledge, but he also listens to what his customers want and delivers. First of all, Areez Popatia is AWESOME! My husband and I decided to replace our counter tops with quartz and Peek's Frisco was referred to us. From the beginning of the project to the end, Areez was simply perfect with his polite demeanor, punctuality and remarkable attention to detail. He had great insight into not only the materials we used, but also the installation process and tricks of the trade we knew nothing about. I would strongly consider manufacturing my own flooring before using Peek's ever again; what a horrible experience! My wife and I wanted to replace all the floors in our new fixer upper starting with Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) since it would cover the majority of the house. Martha from the Flower Mound location came and measured our entire house since we were planning on using Peek's for the carpet and tile where the LVT would not be going. We did not shop around at other flooring locations since she was highly recommended to us from a family member who also had LVT installed a few months prior. Big mistake on our part! The first problem occurred before we even got the material in. Martha sent a text to my wife informing her that our material was ready to pick up but due to work and other engagements I wouldn't be able to pick them up for at least another day and half. Since I was going to be installing the LVT myself, I went ahead and began making work arrangements so that I could take advantage of a three-day weekend. To my surprise when I called Martha to finalize the pick up, it was determined that our flooring was still in California on a loading dock waiting for transport. Not only would I not be able to get started on the floor but I was also taking a hit since I had unnecessarily taken off work. When I expressed my concerns about the expensive flooring now becoming even more expensive, Martha proposed a very minimal discount (less than 2%) stating that any more would be cutting into her commission. I couldn't believe how tacky it was to be hearing about her commission...that is until she told me that I should just enjoy my three-day weekend with my baby daughter. WOW! Her boss Murphy Dykes called me the next day and ended up discounting the flooring. Don't worry, if you do business with Martha then you'll eventually get to meet Mr. Dykes also. Wish this was the end of my bad experience but it most definitely was not. After installing the LVT, we had 19 unopened boxes of material remaining...seems as though someone may have cut the end of Martha's measuring tape off since she missed her mark by over 500 square feet. I informed Martha that I wanted to return this material to which her response was that I could return any unopened box of LVT but I would be required to pay a 25% restocking fee and the shipping cost back to a warehouse in Florida. What a deal! I responded to her email that day explaining how severely she had overbid our job: roughly 540 square feet overage amounted in a 21-27% error on her part (the range being due to the unknown difference of proposed and actual waste). How convenient considering she made commission off of it. To be noted, the family member who referred Martha only had one box of material remaining. The only difference between their job and ours was that they had Peek's install the floor for them. Was this a coincidence or did they pay for product that ended up back at Peek's? Considering Martha has still not responded to my email regarding her error, I'm sure you know where I stand. Just FYI, I sent said email over a month ago. I followed up a few days later with no reply and a few days after that I emailed Mr. Dykes who ended up relaying the whole issue to his boss John Stacy. Mr. Stacy seems like a nice enough guy, but when I spoke to him he was still trying to negotiate with me into paying the shipping back to Florida. Not only that, he seemed way to concerned with how Martha could have messed up so badly as opposed to how he would fix it. Martha evidently lied again stating to Mr. Stacy that she had me confirm her measurement before the purchase was made. The ethics of this lady! Evidently being honest is only a recommendation at Peek's. After two weeks of corresponding with Mr. Stacy, I realized that the poor communication was indeed an epidemic starting at the top. On multiple occasions Mr. Stacy told me he would contact me by a certain date and every time I would end up contacting him a few days after because I had yet to hear from him. I finally got the refund I was looking for to the tune of over $2,600. Judging by how big of an ordeal it was to return the overage leads me to believe that fixing their mistakes is not a priority at Peek's; especially if its going to cut into their profit. My advice would be to find a different company to work with. If not, definitely be present when the work is complete and make sure everything you paid for is left in your possession. read more

Please take note, sometime between 2017 and 2019 Peek's Flooring company was sold to S and H Flooring. The wonderful Peek's of days gone by is DEAD. Run away from this Flooring Company and find anyone else. They did such a bad job installing my wood floors that they had to rip them out and do them again. There was no oversight of the install crew at all. No one came at the beginning of the job, or communicated any of the special instructions that were required to do the job correctly. No one checked the quality of the work at the end. The crew was not vetted by the Company but subcontracted by the person who was allegedly supervising and managing the jobs for the day. He never showed up at the job or delivered the supplies he said he was going to pick up. The people doing the work showed up without a clue what they were supposed to do. I vigorously encourage you to find another flooring outlet for any new floor project you are considering. read more
