Few days before we go back Hawaii, we were trying to find a place where to buy maple cookies! And my dad told me to check this place out, so off we go! But we didn't find any maple cookies. We made it maybe 20 minutes before they closed and there were still plenty people inside. They have plenty of selection of treats, just not what we were looking for. They also get chocolates and gummies. We just bought some Oreos and Cadbury chocolates. They were inexpensive, so why not! Parking is very easy over here, they also take credit cards! I've never been to an "outlet store" for food and I can say I will be back for sure! It's a hidden gym in an industrial neighbourhood but with easy parking. Some highlights when I was there were Oreos, saltine crackers and chocolate bars. I did notice some sour candy that was on sale for a dollar but they were branded from Easter, but didn't bother me! I was in the area and decided to make a quick stop at this cookie outlet. They were closing in 15 minutes, but there was still a lineup to get in. After 10 minutes, they allowed a few people in. The shelves were fully stocked and well organized. There were many cookies for $2, but keep in mind, not everything is priced lower than elsewhere. My coworker asked me to pick up mini Oreo cookies, which I found at $0.85. Note: they don't accept cash, only debit and credit cards. read more

Value for money this place is great; especially if you want to be swimming in cookies (Oreos). I visited just before the start of second round of shutdowns in the GTA. It was about a half hour wait to get in; since they were limiting the number of people getting in. Offerings, they had the classic saltine crackers, Oreos (family sized Birthday Cake - my weakness), regular and thins styles - sold in individual packs or bundles; in addition to a decent sized shelf of Dairy Milk Chocolates. One thing I did notice - they are no longer taking cash - so you would need to make sure you have your debit and credit card handy. Not so bad for most of us; but the area has a lot of seniors - so it is an inconvenience for them. read more

Stopped in here after visiting the coffee outlet next door. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but figured there would some good deals to be found here, and I could pick up a few boxes for the office. Most types of cookies/crackers can be purchased for about $2 (regular size) and they have a few specials on multi-packs. I'd never seen the vanilla Oreos before, so I grabbed a pack of the thin ones for $1.65. I do like Cadbury's mini eggs, so I also picked up a 400g bag for $4.50. Great deal. The staff seemed completely indifferent and don't even make eye contact when spoken to. Not everyone loves going to work, but a little effort wouldn't hurt. Perhaps the friendly staff next door can provide some guidance on customer service. read more

I came in already knowing what this place was about and still couldn't contain my excitement and surprise at all the wonderful junk food for incredibly low prices. You know that healthy eating tip that says to shop at the perimeter of grocery stores, since that is where the fresh, and mostly healthy food is kept? The centre aisles being mostly processed, carb heavy and often sugary foods? Well, Peek Freans in literally in the business of keeping those centre aisles stocked. We're talking: crackers, wafers, chocolate, biscuits and so on. After some heavy research (google), I learned that Peek Freans is actually a former cookie company, now owned and run by Mondelez foods. Is Mondelez not that familiar of a name? That's because they were known as Kraft foods until a few years ago. So what you're finding here are products such as: Ritz (all types), Mr. Christie, Cabury, Toblerone and yes, Peek Farms (cookies). An interesting note I found is that the original Peek Freans was founded in Bermondsey, England. Since this outlet, and especially the manufacturing centre across the street, are on Bermondsey St, I can only assume the gave the street that name due to company - probably when it was first built there. Back to the products: it wouldn't be anything special if it was just a moderate discount; but we're talking $2 bags of Ritz, $1.50 Dairy Milk bars, $5 grocery-bag sized bags of Oreos, amongst others. They often have bulk quantities of various Cadbury chocolate for dirt cheap. I wish there was another metaphor, but it is quite literally being like a kid in the candy store. You might even get twice as excited as when you were a kid, because now saving money is almost as equally thrilling. Avoid this place is you're trying to not bend from a healthy lifestyle, but if you know you want some chocolate, cookies or crackers - you really can't do any cheaper than this. read more

There are some items on the surrounding shelves that are slightly lower than if you bought them in store on sale. I need a chaperon every time I come here, there is so much of a selection that I can never decide as to what I really want. I'm kind of lucky that I take transit otherwise I would end up taking so much stuff back home and end up in some type of diabetic coma. The place has about 4 isles with industrial bins full with bags of cookies (mainly oreos, arrowroot, and dipped digestive biscuits) surrounded by industrial racking stocked with boxes of things that I don't normally find and some I haven't even seen in my lifetime. I have been coming to this outlet for years. I have been a customer since it was actually across the street in the factory plant itself. You can get huge bags of imperfect cookies for a decent price. The taste isn't compromised. You simply get some broken cookies here and there. My dad loves the Digestive cookies, so I end up nabbing a large bag for $5. Today, I got a huge bag of mini Chips Ahoy cookies for $4. I also got a bag of Potato Thins in ketchup flavour for $2 and a box of unsalted crackers for $3. The woman at the cash register was super friendly. She had looked at my purchase at the Cultured Coffee Bean (all tea-related) and we had a good conversation about tea. 5 Stars mostly because of dealsies! I went in looking for an entrance and then realized the actual cookie outlet is across the road in a white building. This place is fantastic. It's clean and is filled with buckets full of bags of cookies and chocolate. You can buy Toblerone boxes for $4 or bags of Caramilk (10) for $7 flat. Lots of bags of cookies for $3-$6 depending on what you get. I bought a giant bag of Chips-Ahoy! in packages of 4 for $5. I've been handing them out like crazy and still have so many left. I need to hand out more because I realized yesterday how easy it is to eat them when they are just lying around (4 packs in 25 minutes or so = 17 cookies because one pack had 5 cookies). Yes, these are overstock, imperfect or just packaging error cookies. Some cookies will be broken, some packages may not have been cut properly and some may have 5 cookies in them. Solid deal especially if you want to be nice and hand out to friends on the cheap. Will be back somewhat soon. I love cookies! read more
