Not the best nor the worst in Madera. Pedro's serves pizza, burgers and Mexican breads. Lets start with the burgers, pretty good and you would not know they even sell burgers till you walked in, due to no advertising outside. So this bakery also sells tacos and such which is good you can get bread and eat a taco if you wish. But I came for the tortas, I ordered one of asada and a taco de tripa (tripe). The taco the tripa was amazing, the tripe was cleaned and did not have any fat on it. Most taco shops sell you be greasy tripe with fat still on it. Not this place cleaned out and crunchy, just how I like it. The torta wasn't all that... nothing special.. the bread was burned and the asada was ok. The only reason why I give this 3 stars is bc of the tacos and the fresh salsa. The torta was highly recommended but it did not produce. It did it even have fresh cheese, a fresh cheese strip on the sandwich To contrast the taste. I won't have tortas here ever. The tacos are good though! read more

Great fresh bread variety. The flan from this place rocks! I've tried the tortas here and highly recommend them. All i would suggest them is to not be stingy with ingredients. wouldn't hurt if they added onions, jalapeños, & avocados. like a real Mexican torta. Good size, made in an about 8" telera. The bread here is very good. Very good selection. I've only tried the pizza here. They do carry other items, but i only go for the bread.

I recommend the tortas. They are amazingly delicious. They also have Mexican bread that is always soft and freshly out the oven everyday. My favorite spot to get Mexican bread and tortas. Please try the champorado during winter you will fall in love! read more
