They did, and I also found a pair of Mickey shoes that were so cute, I couldn't resist!! The Disney products are an Aldi Find, which means they are only available for a limited time or while supplies last, whichever comes first, I guess. I was shocked that the price tag for the shoes was just $14.99!! The best part is that they are so comfortable!! I definitely hit the jackpot! They also had a different style with a holographic Mickey on the shoe, but I opted for the original Mickey. I dropped a star only because I tried to call this location to see if they had the Disney ears in stock. I didn't want to waste my time or gas if they didn't have them, as I know stock varies by location. However, when I called, the generic recording comes on telling you that because they are short staffed, they don't have anyone to answer the phones which is laaaaaame sauce!! But whatevs, I got what I came for thank God, and even found an extra treasure during my hunt. You can't really beat Aldi prices, but make sure you ha e time to sift through the merch. During Phoestivus at the Phoenix Public Market, I browsed the rows of local food vendors and stumbled across Grate Roots. Intrigued, I started to ask more about horseradish. At first, I tried a sample out of courtesy and then my mind was blown. When did horseradish get a tangy taste with a serious kick to it? Why did I just want to take a spoon and eat the whole thing by itself? I was blown away. This local company makes several flavors including their seasonal flavor Cranberry, a fruity flavor, the basic flavor and then beet. Yes beet. They had me sample the beet flavor and again, I did it just out of courtesy and then to my disbelief, I fell in love! I immediately thought of a turkey or tuna fish sandwich topped with this spicy goodness, so I had to make a purchase. I left with Beet horseradish and I plan on making myself a tuna fish sandwich topped with this yummy local flavor to add a kick to my day. The canyon has been closed since the pandemic and most places will not ship to us. Thank goodness for Kim at Boxed Greens!! The first order was a trial and I ordered an assortment of different fruits and vegetables to see how they would do on the Mules. Bananas, tomatoes, and Gala apples were almost liquid but the everything else was perfect and delicious! I let Kim know what worked and what didn't and she was very responsive. My second order came today and the packing team had lovingly snuggled everything together perfectly into one box and even wrapped the tomatoes in bubble wrap. It rode down the trail on the mules then sat in my office all day. Everything was still cold and fresh when I unpacked it tonight!! I almost sang with excitement at the picture perfect beets and chard and assorted peppers. They are at their peak and so tasty!!
