I also saw a hose that I thought may need to be changed. Also my trailer brakes were not working. I expected to leave Daves Marine spending approximately $4000 due to all the issues my boat had at that time. A few days later, I received a call indicating that they were able to repair my brakes without replacing any parts which was great to hear. Dave also said the hose did not need to be repaired at this time but maybe in the future it would be a good idea. Dave completed the service on my boat, installed new batteries, replaced a surge pump and it's running great. I am pleased and feel lucky to have an honest boat mechanic That's not trying to rip me off every turn that they can. Daves Marine could have easily told there were things wrong with my boat that weren't ( surge brake parts, hoses, etc) and I probably would have paid to have them repaired. I love spending way less than I expected. Thank you to Dave and his wife for being such an honest business. Daves Marine has a lifetime customer as long as I live in California.

Not only do you get to enjoy a beautiful lake, but there are rolling hills with lush grass, covered gazebos with grills, and several playground apparatuses for the kiddos. I counted three off-hand, but I feel like there were more. Want to jet ski? Check. Wanna go fishing? Check. Kayaking? Check. Boating? Check. Prefer to pedal a boat on the water? You can do that too. Or bring your bike. You can also hike or stroll around the park and take in the wildlife. The wild geese, ducks, birds, squirrels, lizards, and small fish are fun to watch. Just don't feed them, per the signs posted around the area. However, humans can pack a picnic and lounge the day away. Admission per vehicle is $15/day and you have in/out privileges all day long. Special events like concerts, triathlons, and fishing tournaments happen here so check out the calendar on their website. Also, Bonelli Regional Park has Overnight Family Camping on the second Friday of June, July, and August so mark your calendars. We did, but this summer escaped us. We'll be putting that on our bucket list for 2027. Also, you can horseback ride and the Equestrian Center is at the back side of the park. NOTE: Regional Parks are closed Mondays & Tuesdays. Parking was $15/car and you have access in/out all day long.

What a beautiful park with so many varied areas to recreate!…read more I have to admit, I do wish it was limited to unmotorized boats, other than the Lifeguards. It's so peaceful to be near or out on the water with people using row boats, kayaks, paddle boards, peddle boats, fishing etc. But then you get a speedboat or jet ski blaring back and forth in this little strip area. I'm not sure why that would even be fun in such a confined area. Anyway, I don't recommend it for motorized boats. Too small. But often it's quiet and peaceful there. They have a bird wetland/marsh habitat area at the southeast end of the lake with all kinds of beautiful water birds. The bird watching there is amazing. You even sometimes see Bald Eagles. Many families have parties there and stroll the grounds on the weekend. Perfect for people who don't have yards and want to come and relax on the grass and picnic on the weekend. I recommend anyone in the area that uses the park often get a yearly membership and support this great resource of ours!

If your in SoCal, and want a Supra, Moomba, Tige or ATX boat (as of this review), Germaine Marine is your only option, and I would feel 100% confident with their dealership for sales or service. Our Experience: We were interested in a 100k value sports boat, and was interested in the ATX Brand. Unfortunately had a single bad experience with the dealer missing a demo, that ruined my families trust in their dealership, long enough, to give me time to drive further and check out my local MB Dealer "California Skier" in Lake Elsinore. I felt for the price I was looking to spend, I preferred an MB Sports Boat's fit and finish and wake over a Moomba or ATX. We ended up not completing a sale with Germaine Marine. In Conclusion: If I had unlimited money and wanted a top tier Sports Boat, I would buy a Supra LE from them in a heart beat. For the value boat I was looking for, they did not carry a brand I felt was superior, but would consider them if I was interested in a Moomba or ATX.

They truly do not reflect the real experience this family provides. My experience was superb, helpful, and genuine. Prado...what happened?…read more We used to love you so! We've camped here many times over the past few years, and it has been green and beautiful. However, this last trip was less than awesome, and we're so disappointed. First of all, unless you really like camping in the dirt, definitely avoid campsite 50. It's big and spacious, but your RV will be full of ants before you go to sleep, as the nearby trees are FULL of ant trails. If you don't already, make sure you use the DE or Borax powder on any potential entry point! The site itself is shady all day, but again, it comes at a cost. There are also tons of flies, gnats, and mosquitoes (they don't bother me, but they love my boyfriend!). A bug zapper helps, but the moment the sun goes down, it is ON! Those little effers are out in force! As for the dirt...well, we didn't realize that there are sites with concrete pads, and those without. This was our first time stepping out onto dirt from the RV instead of concrete, and it was awful. If we had been prepared, we might have been ok. Other sites have a pad and are surrounded by grass, but this one was just dirt. Upon scouting out the park in the evenings, we noticed that most of the camp area is full of totally brown/dead grass and dirt. So much so, that we asked the ranger the next day and she explained that they can't keep up with the maintenance of their irrigation systems because "people keep driving over the lines in the dark...and park where they're not supposed to"! She seemed upset about it, too, and explained that they can't enforce anything with citations, or warnings at all. She said maybe next year they'll catch up on it. Shrug. Anyway, we likely won't be back unless we can book a site that we already know has a concrete pad. Also, they upgraded the campground restrooms and showers, which were clean enough. However, it would have been so lovely if they could have included soap and soap dispensers in the restrooms! The only place I found a soap dispenser was in the RR near the marina...but...it was empty. Sigh. A disappointing trip all the way around, because the lake was closed due to an algae bloom the 3rd day we were there, so no fishing or peddle boats, either! The splash pad was a redeeming quality, because we had a blast with my granddaughter! Otherwise, this was a dud. Prado needs to get it together!

Outstanding Service, Knowledge, and Customer Care!…read more After 50 years of owning boats and doing my own mechanical work, I finally met a problem that had me stumped. My boat suddenly developed a severe vibration (and no, I hadn't hit anything with the prop!). After two days of troubleshooting, I finally tapped out and asked a friend for a marine repair recommendation. Without hesitation, he said WakeTeck Marine. From my first conversations with Nick, Brian, Adam, and Wayne, I knew I was dealing with a different kind of repair shop. Everyone was knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to listen. Brian, in particular, patiently reviewed my detailed notes and measurements, explained how things actually work on boats, and never made me feel like my questions were unwelcome. The diagnosis was impressive. They sent me a video using a laser to check the prop shaft, revealing that it was cracked near the keyway. I never would have found it on my own, and they explained that I was lucky it hadn't broken completely and caused more serious damage. They kept me updated throughout the repair. Parts took a little longer to arrive than I wanted (I'm spoiled by Amazon overnight delivery! ), but once they arrived, the team got right on it. I've always been skeptical of boat repair shops because I've done my own work for decades and want to know the job is done right. WakeTeck earned my trust. Brian also explained why professional service is increasingly important with today's computerized boats and specialized diagnostic equipment. If you're looking for experience, technical knowledge, honest communication, and people who genuinely care about their customers, I highly recommend WakeTeck Marine. They've earned my business and my confidence!
